To start I would never book a room at this high priced dump, our room was a nonsmoking room and if you smoke in your room you will be charged a fee of $250.00, well what did we find on the balcony but a cigarette butt, we informed the desk as were not smokers and don't want to be charged, next we went to our room and couldn't get the air to blow very well room was sort of stuffy, I saw that there were slide out filters, I pulled one out only to find it full of dirt/ lint or what ever it was, took it to the bathroom and rinsed it off and did the same with the other filter as well, finally fresh air, went to take our showers and the bathroom vent fan didn't work, outlet where the coffee maker didn't work either, got up in the morning set up the coffee maker and noticed the packets with the sugar and creamers were opened and the stir sticks were MIA, grabbed a cup and holy crap the cup under it was dirty used cup, who does that??? We were here for a wedding and you would have thought this place would have been ship shaped. We did let the young girls at the desk know what we found in the room as well as gave them the dirty cup, One of the young girls said this rarely happens, well it should NEVER HAPPEN, there were other guest from our group who also had room issues, They were given a room that was not even cleaned yet, dirty towels and all, had we not been here for a Wedding, we would have walked out and demanded a full refund this place is unacceptable,

I think by far the worst hotel I have ever been to. I did read the reviews prior to booking and was a little unsure and read the managers responses on trip advisor however I still gave them a chance, plus the reviews were about a year old. Granted we went there because of the water park which was very small and their hot tub was out of order but my biggest issues were with the hotel itself.
I checked-in and I thought not too bad. Drove to my entrance and as we walked in it just smelled dirty. Walked in the room and the heater was off so we had to turn on the heater and stay in our coats until it warmed up mind you it was 29 degrees outside so why wouldn't they have their heaters on is beyond me.
In the middle of the night maybe 2am alarms are going off no one in the hall ways to alarm anyone of whats going on people are running out so I called the front desk to ask what was going on. Very short attitude its under control false alarm. Just annoying but I do understand if someone pulled the alarm it's not the hotels fault just learn how to communicate with people.
For a hotel that probably gets most of their clients because of the water park I would think that they would have heaters on in the hallways. The place was freezing cold. Mind you we have to walk through the hotel to get to Coco Key and it was probably as cold inside as it was outside. What a total turn off.
We decided to try the hotel pool since there was no one in there and it would be quiet. Told my kids we would check out and they can hang out at the pool as long as they wanted.. When we are ready to go I follow the arrows to go the locker rooms. What locker rooms??? They don't have any still confused why they have signs in there but no where to get dressed in especially when we had already checked out!! I go call the front desk from their phone in the pool and it doesn't work. I go throw something away in the garbage can and there was puke all over the trash can. Gross. Clearly maintenance and cleaning not a top priority because that was not fresh. You also have a phone in the pool with an emergency sign but the phone doesn't work. I ask myself what if there was an emergency. So I walked to the front desk through the cold hotel and let the clerk know and she should have told me who cares. Customer service also not on their top priority list.
Clearly not somewhere I would ever go to again.

i read reviews before I stayed here, the bed and the room were very comfortable, but 4 ice machines and all out of order, The indoor pool was way too hot, couldn't even sit and watch my granddaughter swim that uncomfortable. Free breakfast up to 2 people, and the food was fair at best plus I had to pay for a cup of OJ, really?? paid less doe super 8 and got a better breakfast. All the employees were nice, ate at the Tilted kilt later in the evening and that was nice not to have to go out anywhere. If you just want to be close to the water resort, its fine, looking for a nice place to stay sure you can get better for the money. Needs updating

I was hanging out in multiple rooms during the con as well as having a room in my name. All the rooms I saw were in poor condition. Showers that don't work, peeling wallpaper, mildew in the bathrooms. On the surface this looks like a nice hotel, with the indoor water park and the patio for every room. But the water park rates are disgusting ($5 for a "spectator pass"????) and the patio doors either wouldn't open without difficulty or had locks that didn't work (or both). The staff was very friendly, and it's hard to hate on a place with a Tilted Kilt in it. But there needs to be serious money invested in renovating the rooms to a decent standard.
