Very nice hotel, attentive friendly staff good facilitates xxx

Pro's: 1. Facilities are excellent; 2. Staff were all first class. 3. Golf is world class and something for everyone. Con's: 1. Ryder Grill could be better for the price...steak was cold; room was draughty; station for dirty plates next to diners...easily fixed as decor was beautiful.

Attended a party night, good food and staff very good. Drinks are expensive.

I have came here to stay with family. I am currently sat at the bar being served by such a lovely waitress called Amy. She is so friendly and has taken the time out to chat to me and my sister making us feel very comfortable and welcome. Amy certainly deserves some recognition for such a friendly approachable service.

A prestige location which can, and will, cater for many different events. Really is worth a visit.

Visited today for a spa day with afternoon tea. The whole day has been lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The afternoon tea was delicious and the fire and ice spa experience was just amazing. Would definitely go again.

Great golf, great venue, great Staff (especially Anna, who helped me fix a double booking issue). Good service overall, Quite big and good gym and spa. Only down side are the facilities, rooms need an upgrad, building needs a clean up. Price-value of the golf etc. good, but Price-value for the rooms and food bad/ok.

Good spa, well maintained driving range, excellent suites.

Poor discipline in pool, no guards, children running riot and changing rooms dirty. Definitely not to expected service levels and quality in leisure areas

The staff couldn't help you more. They make sure you know where everything is and any questions they are happy to help. We only visited the golf practice area but I can tell you that the area is welcoming and high spec. There are drinks and snack facilities in the reception area and comfy seating where you can relax and chat or watch sport on their television. The practice areas are also well kept and plentiful. There is an option to borrow golf clubs if you visit and decide to give it a go as staff will be happy to help to kit you out.

Service slow in sports bar, spa treatments below par, but as a pure golf resort it is great. Breakfast is a high point!

The hotel was great and clean. Pricey but the package that we had included two rounds of golf and breakfast which was really nice. The buffet breakfast is of a high quality and there should be no reason why you leave here hungry. Just want you need to set you up for a great round of golf! (I drove the 10th green like Seve so perhaps that has influenced my review ;) )

The spa needs to be more clearly signposted, took me a while to find as not that clearly visible from the car park area etc and signs seems to direct you towards the end which is the golf club, car park very busy. Some of the fire and ice rooms weren't working properly but overall a lovely place and great experience. Afternoon tea was delicious, prosecco went down nicely :)

Over all though I really liked it here and would definitely return again & have already recommended to others.

Bed was comfy. Place was clean. The desserts were delicious.

We had booked at Superior Signature room to celebrate a special occasion. We paid significantly more for this room. We had been told that the Superior room would have a terrace overlooking the 1st tee. If you look on The Belfry website the Superior rooms have an extra large bed, two armchairs and a double patio door to the terrace. The room we were given was pleasant enough but was clearly a Standard Room. When we arrived I called down to Reception to say that we had been put in the wrong type of room. They apologised and moved us to another identical room, admittedly with a better view, but no terrace or other features of a Superior Room. At the end of the stay we were offered 20% off our extras (we had already paid for bed and breakfast for two nights). That didn't come close to refunding us for the extra we paid. Disappointed and disgusted.

Always have a lovely time at the Belfry whether it be for drinks, food or Spa.

Went here for a fire and ice spa day with afternoon tea. Treatments were lovely, and the therapists very professional. Spa needs some maintenance as there were tiles missing and some places were a bit mouldy. Same for the showers in the changing areas. Afternoon tea was very good, but strange to be sitting in a cafe-type area in your bathrobe. They need somewhere more cosy and relaxing. One thing that did somewhat ruin our meal was that a workman came in and started drilling the wall! People were videoing it on their phones, so I'm sure those will crop up here at some point. Spa and ice was nice, but not any more special than at other spas where you don't have to book otlr pay extra for the same thing. All in all, it was OK. It's handy for a day spa as we live close by, but I think I'll travel further afield next time as other spas are better quality and less money.

The home of English Golf, bigger and busier than I had imagined. Lovely comfortable and enjoyable stay.

they were quite strict on social distancing inside but outside was very busy around the tables and bar area, actually too busy with 702 golfers on 3 courses decent weekend though

My brother treated me to 9 holes at the Belfry at the beginning of November 2018. Despite the weather being poor - we really enjoyed the course and the facilities and clubhouse are excellent. We will definitely be visiting again!

Must of stayed here 10 times now . But I dont think we will again .. too bogged do in there own policys rather than provide an excellent customer experience

Iconic for golfers and pretty great for everyone else. Other guests leave a good deal to be desired but generally very good

Pretty decent all rounder, staff are super nice. Food is good quality. I wish there were less annoying bratty ugly kids but hey what can you do.

Booked my spa day a week in advance only on the day of the spar I woke up with a mother of cold and felt really bad, I phone the spa and explained asking if I could rebook for the following week when I would hopefully feel well, a young More

Stayed here for two nights and it was lovely. The staff are very helpful, food was great and facilities were lovely.

Nice hotel rooms with good facilities for a drink after golf, Pro shop, multiple restaurants, good food, a night club and good golf course.
Great club with a driving range, chipping and putting greens, give plenty of time for getting to the tee on both the Brabazon (shotgun start so will have to walk to tee) and Derby (mini bus shuttle). We found that it was very slow playing on both courses too, particularly the Derby. It took well over 6 hours to play and only just got the 18 in before it went dark (November). They definitely need a way of speeding up the play. 5* is more for the Brabazon and resort generally. But let down a bit by the Derby.

The facilities and the staff here are excellent.
For us the temperature in the pool is too low. The jacuzzi and the pool itself feel cold.

Hotel is lovely, great rooms, very friendly staff and superb food. The one minor downside for me was the poor WiFi and reception coverage. No reception when lying in bed and WiFi was patchy in the room.

Amazing hotel. With its own Starbucks an excellent breakfast .

The breakfast was fab and the golf courses were really well maintained and challenging but the hotel rooms weren't anywhere near as good as I expected for the price (especially as I had upgraded my room). The sink for example was on stilts where one of the legs weren't even touching the ground. There was no air con and whilst there was a Dyson fan in the room, the controller was missing so we couldn't change the setting to it. The non upgraded room was smaller but was actually much nicer than the upgrade. I would recommend the standard room if you're planning on staying.

Held a special private dining 70th birthday surprise for my parents in the wine room! The service received by Alex the assistant manager all evening was wonderful and he was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes served. The food was delicious (in my opinion it should be a Michelin star restaurant! ). The scallops were cooked perfectly and the halibut was simply delicious. Thank you to the lovely Olivia whom helped with my special event and to Veronica in house keeping who made my parents suite look amazing with the rose petals on the bed! This hotel is ran like a well oiled machine, nothing is too much trouble and many of the staff go over and above to make your stay so enjoyable
