Check-in was great with Adrian she was welcoming and nice.
But When I booked one more night Jamie at the front desk helped me, she wasn t so helpful, not friendly.
The rooms are nice, very comfortable bed, but the room was on the first floor so every morning at 7 am the people above my room were moving furniture, walking around which woke me up, super annoying so get a room on the top floor.
The pool and hot tub was small and everyday (3 days) I was there it was full of people so I couldn t use it, super annoying.
The restaurant is not open, no room service or cleaning, which I find these are Covid excuses because I stayed at other hotels that gave full service.
And the restaurants in the area are NOT walking distance, you must drive.

I didn t stay here but their hospitality was unbelievably good. At the restaurant they ensured they checked on me regularly. I settled for a Ceasers salad with grilled shrimp and hands down the best salad I have ever eaten. It was perfectly flavored, fresh, the prawn was yummilicious . I was a happy soul when I finished my food. It might be the place and ambience and the care they put in making the food. Mind-blowing Salad and if I travel again I would like to stay with them!

This is a little gem, well hidden, nice location with so many places to shop, eat and play. The beach is super close and the price is reasonable. The staff is super courteous! I d definitely stay here again, planning to in the near future! So happy the pool and jacuzzi were open despite covid, they re very organized and had a very limited amount of persons allowed for safety and it was by appointment. I thought that s great they re watching out for their guest and go out of their way.

Liked their pool and the Jacuzzi, room was confortable. I would give them the 5 starts if the cereals in the morning (breakfast) was complimentary, they should doing it just for the good feelings of the guest.

I would totally stay at this hotel again. It was across from a mall of restaurants - so I had my choice of food even with no car and no restaurant open in the hotel (covid). The lobby was updated 1960s. Just what I'd want southern California to look like. Fresh and white.

Quiet, nice area, staff were ok. You have to pay $20 to park your car.The pool was nice and the jacuzzi was nice and steamy with fresh towels at the pool area to use to dry off.Only down side was no free water bottles and no free breakfast. So make sure you bring your own water if you wanna make coffee in the morning using the Kerig coffee machine that they supply in the room. Other than that, it was an average experience

1) Zero wall insulation. You will hear your neighbors speaking at a normal tone or doing "other" things.

2) Zero floor insulation. If you have a second or first floor room, you are bound to hear each step from the room above you.

3) I had to educate the agent upon check-in about Hilton Honors Terns and Conditions for Gold/Diamond upgrades when room inventory is available. Nor was I offered points for lack of breakfast due to restaurant being closed. To the MOD, Front Office Manager or GM that replies or monitors this, I suggest you read and educate your staff on Hilton's loyalty program and benefits.

Guest retention = greater fill rate = scaling to higher ADR

Either that or ask your ownership to go independent.

4) The "garden view" room is a view of leaves from tree that obscure any true view.

5) There is an A-frame sign outside the property that indicates hotel valet parking, however there is no valet parking. I'm super fine with that, but how about move the damn sign. Hospitality is about attention to detail.

I won't be returning here EVER, and when I get back to D.C., I will recommend to Hilton HQ in McLean that they strongly consider pushing brand standards harder here or remove the Hilton flag from this property.

EDIT to response:

A room upgraded room was available upon arrival as it was bookable on the app, but it took 'Hospitality 101' to educate your agent. Accept the loss here and move on in working to improve your staffs skillset and using kindness and service to overshadow your building's flaws...duh..
