An Irish pub, very much a local with friendly crowd and decent beers. The roast dinner was good, not enough potatoes in my opinion but the carrots and parsnips were bang on. Great for getting out of the hustle and bustle of Camden Town and a short hop from mornington crescent.

Nice local pub. When I visited with friends they had this Trivia game running, didn't join the game but the prices are fair, place is cool, service is very good and we even got free dinner :) even tho we were not playing the trivia game(it was free for those playing) .

The Sheephaven Bay

The Sheephaven Bay
2 Mornington St, London, NW1 7QD
Mornington Crescent

A proper Irish pub tucked away in the backstreets of Camden. Its a great spot for watching live sports as there are plenty of screens here and a good atmosphere. Maybe worth a visit to catch one of the upcoming World Cup games. The food is reasonably priced here and the fayre is traditional pub grub and with Irish stew on the menu it s always a winner for me. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Camden high street and enjoy a drink in welcoming surroundings why not try out The Sheephaven Bay for yourself.

Great pub with a very entertaining pub quiz on Monday's from 8.45pm. Plays football matches, Gaelic football and rugby sometimes. Really good food, not typical pub dross and the staff friendly and some are quite funny. One room is covered in football scarves. Quite amazing, actually.

The kind of proper Irish pub that doesn't really exist in gentrified London any more. An eclectic mix of characters make up the clientele but they're welcoming on the whole. Gets pretty raucous on St Patrick's Day!

Really cool sports bar. We stopped here for dinner on our way to a concert at Dingwalls. It was somewhat strange as it is in the middle of a neighborhood. The sign on the door mentions this and states to not be too loud. The food was good, service was quick and the beer was delicious. A soccer and rugby match were on, so the pub was pretty packed with guys watching the games.

Staff excellent. Service great.

Staff excellent. Service great.

Looking forward to becoming a regular, don't even need to tell bar staff what I want to order they just ask if you want the usual.

That is great staff.

I came for the England Croatia game, everyone was unfriendly and didn't give anyone the time of day and was aggressive towards me and my friends for celebrating a goal.... I have travelled the world and never have such disrespect in any establishment over my entire lifetime

I love this pub. Its very original, not pretentious at all. Well priced beers, nice and cosy atmosphere with plenty of space. This might be my fave just cause it doesn't try too hard and it feels very authentic. Don't expect fanciness, this is the real deal.
