The Antebellum Inn Bed and Breakfast Reviews

The rooms are large and in the one I had the sink and toilet were separate from the shower. They had a comfortable bed and a nice desk for my laptop. There is an in room Keureg with a variety of coffees. There were only two rooms occupied the nights I was there and they gave us a bottle of wine in the evening. The breakfasts were restaurant quality served in the diningroom on china plates with cloth napkins. Day one was a cup of fresh cooked oatmeal followed by a bowl crepe topped with fresh fruit. Day two was a fresh fruit and berry cup with yogurt followed by a great omelet. The coffee was excellent. We had to catch an early morning flight on day two and they came in early to provide our breakfast. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in Milledgeville. Within walking distance to the center of town.

Our entire family stayed here for a wedding in town and it was an absolutely perfect experience. It was clean and well-maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious. I wouldn't change a thing. Everyone is still talking about what a perfect place that was for us to stay. I can't recommend it enough.

Great B&B in downtown Milledgeville. You can walk to GCSU campus. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. We stayed in the Magnolia Room. There is a claw foot tub in the room making it a cozy and romantic room. But there is a private bath with shower as well. We were warmly greeted by Laura, who escorted us to our room. A bit later, I enjoyed talking with her as wine and a charcuterie tray were served. We were attending our son's Capstone with the College of Mathematics so our schedule on Saturday morning prevented us from enjoying our breakfast.

This is one of the most awesome b&b's we've ever stayed at!! Wonderful people, beautiful neighborhood and great location!! After an exhausting trip on our motorcycle, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess who made us feel at home instantly. The judges room is the best room in our opinion. There is a pool and rockers to relax and unwind in. You won't be disappointed here for sure!!

The Antebellum Inn is the best place to stay when visiting Milledgeville and the surrounding area, offering a convenient location, convenient accommodations, and just the right amount of Southern charms.

With access to several rooms of different sizes, the Antebellum Inn is well-suited to the needs of any travelers. The common areas are well-maintained and amenities include free beverages, big screen TVs, and totally modernized bathrooms.

The rooms themselves are tastefully decorated with historic accent pieces, the centerpiece being the massive and unbelievably soft beds. Sound insulation is good and one's stay can be as private or as socially convivial as one wishes to make it, as breakfast and a regular wine & cheese hour are offered daily.

I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a high quality bed and breakfast at a very reasonable price consider staying at the Antebellum Inn - it represents the very best that the South has to offer.

I will be staying there when they reopen in a month.

Great hostesses. Comfortable, well-decorated, very clean. Very close to Georgia College. Would've liked to have stayed more than one night.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a weekend and found The Antebellum Inn in Millageville when searching for something close to Atlanta. It was a 2 hour drive from home and located directly in the middle of Georgia. It was a great choice because we were able to explore the Historic Civil War attractions and the Southern town of Millageville. The highlight was the Antebellum Inn and how totally great the entire experience was for us. The Inn is beautiful and offers privacy along with being introduced to new friends. The staff is A+ serving a gourmet breakfast in the morning with Wine and Cheese in the afternoon, all included in the price of the room. It was delightful!! I strongly recommend this destination Inn as a fantastic and relaxing 2-day getaway to anyone.

Great place, staff is very friendly and easy to work with (completely made up for complications in getting the right room). Parking is tight but there are enough spots.

I got to your this place in an open house and it is very nice! Every detail is accounted for! I'm sure it is a lovely place to stay! It would be a great way to experience the culture of Milledgeville in a classic way.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding and they took great care of everyone in attendance. The hosts were accommodating and involved in making sure we had everything we needed.
The location is great for visiting downtown's attractions on foot or by bike. The house and grounds are beautifully kept.
