Good beers & great customer service. Even with the Covid-19 restrictions it still has a great atmosphere.

People were positive. Limited selection. Nine handles.
Beer OK but no better.
Open air with no A.C.! Muggy. No backs on any seats. Definitely not older folk friendly.
Recorded music garbled.
Most stops in Asheville or Greenville SC blow their doors off. Make no special trips.

Beer ok but the loud rap music made us leave early...staff not real friendly. We had a much better time at Terrapin.

Rude staff including their managers. I was visiting Athens as a fan from an opposing academic institution. I was refused service before entering their facility. I would not recommend Creature Comforts if you are in Athens as a visitor.

Best experience I've ever had at a brewery, and I've been to several! Every single employee was very kind and helpful. The place was bustling like crazy but it didn't feel overcrowded at all. I tried a couple beers and although I don't remember their names they tasted great. I'm generally not into IPAs but I loved theirs. Would've gotten a case if I had the money!

Great brewery with a staff that really has a passion for what they do. The Automatic pale ale is near the top of my list, which isn't easily accomplished. Additionally the brewery is in an old tire factory and they have kept much of the original character of the building, which adds to a great atmosphere.

Cool place. Tons of interesting beers to sample. I'd love to go back.

Great space for a brewery! Very open and there are two bars at opposite ends of the space where you can get your glass filled. The beer was pretty good, I especially enjoyed the sour one. The music--a live band--was way too loud.

Great place to grab a beer for any occasion. Small groups or large groups one come all. Great choices of locally crafted beer. Comfortable indoor and outdoor settings.

Creature Comforts have great beers that include excellent Staples like Tropicalia, Bibo, and Athens as well as an ever-changing selection of seasonal craft brews. Their service is great and they have a beautiful new outside seating area. Ive only ever had one slight issue and management took care of it quickly. I have nothing but good things to say. Good cold beer.

Great atmosphere, great beer, great people. Questions were met with guidance and honest personal experience and opinion. A welcome change, rather than just trying to push beer.

My wife and I loved it. She s now a Bibo and Athena fan, while I ve previously had Tropicalia and Cosmik Debris...there is nothing better than conditioned fresh draft, right here at the brewery.

This place is very small, but growing...nice location and absolutely spotless clean. Nice to see hard to find beers in Atlanta on tap (Cosmik Debris) here at the source.

Had a great time just chilling and exploring different flavors. Loved it.

Great place, fun to hang out with friends and drink some good beer.

BUT, the music is incredibly loud. This is a brewery, not a club. They were blasting music the entire time I was there (3 hours) and I had to yell to hold a conversation. Kind of ruins the casual coolness of it.

Even though they were under construction they search top to bottom for the things I was looking for. Incredibly nice people and fantastic beer!

Wife got a coffee from the coffee shop down the block. Walked to this joint to get a shot. They wouldn't serve us because of the coffee. Seriously? Coffee? Back to Woodstock or Avalon where they have finally come to their senses about drinks and customer service!!

Love this place! They have a great selection of beer and mixed drinks with their beer! The atmosphere is relaxed with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and sanding areas. The staff was also really helpful. Definitely recommend stopping here. Im not from this area but I heard it can get really crowded on a game day so beware of that if you're visiting!

Great Brewery. Missed the tour but you get great service while tasting your way thorough the range.

Georgia Tandem Rally partied at Creature Comfort Brewery Friday night (May 30). They are only 4 weeks old and are making a great IPA, amber rye, and a cool Weiss beer. The venues in the old Snow Tire Building is great! They are going to make it big. Stop by for the tour and tasting.

The facility is very nice. Inside is decorative and also shows the production facility. The outside pavilion is a really nice touch.

Long lines, mediocre beer and pretty bad service. Good thing there are plenty of places to drink in Athens.

Awesome brewery to visit. Delicious beer on tap and really nice folks. The drinking laws in Athens are kind of wonky, but Creature Comforts makes sure you re taken care of if you d like to take some home.

One of the coolest brewery set ups I have seen in quite a while. The beer here is very good. They have a lot of selections and the staff is very knowledgeable about all of the beers. Make sure you eat before you come because they have no kitchen. Still a great hangout if you are ever in Athens this is definitely a must!!!!!!

Fantastic venue, easy to find, great beer. When I went in the spring they had quite a few tropical and citrus-Y beers, which I don't like as much but maybe others will. Lacking in more traditional beer flavors but still great place

It had good food and beer but the experience was so so.

If you're looking for a great place to grab a cold beer, this is one of the best places around. Creature provides a unique setting as well as an outstanding beer selection. There is an extensive list of beers to try, and two independent pouring stations inside the complex. There is also an outdoor area set up under a tent with picnic tables in which to sit. There is a very unique vibe at Creature Comforts that seems almost indescribable. The people are great, the drinks are excellent, and the place feels like a getaway from the stresses of school. Creature is an outstanding choice any day of the week.

Great beer. My issue was having to wait to get in so I could wait to pay. They need a better layout.

Outstanding outdoor area. Delicious beer. Props to the staff that dealt with a vagrant that was harassing the customers. They handled it with class and treated the man with respect even as he spat and used profanities in the family environment. I'll be back when in the area to enjoy the beer and outside seating.

Very good atmosphere great beer and great selection to choose from even a little merchandise shop. It is a nice size brewery however gets very packed and cramped on weekends. They do offer outside seating. Prices are good.

Straight out of the mind of Willy Wonka (or at least thats how I feel he would have made a Brewery) comes Creature Comforts. Taking Athens, Atlanta, and all of Georgia by storm with some of the most solid brew money can buy. The masterminds of this company dabbled in different recipes and have released a top tier IPA, Tropicalia. This west coast style, hoppy, citrus IPA is raved about all over and gone as soon as it hits the shelves in stores. They are very diversified in styles though. Also released another Georgia staple, Athena. This Berliner Weisse is a thirst quenching sour that is perfect on a humid Georgia afternoon. Not to mention their DIPA Cosmic Debris, what doesn't it have porter Koko Buni, and the I wish you would bring it back and start canning and selling the ever living s*** out of pale ale Automatic. The brewery is masterpiece in itself, actually lying in the downtown district of Athens. The old Snow Tire building has been transformed into (my personal favorite) the most spectacular and modern, yet homey and comfortable brewery. If you only have time to visit one place in Athens, make it here. Get comfortable, drink a get comfortable, and you are guaranteed to stay comfortable. BTW, seriously guys, bring back the automatic as a year round beer. It is pure gold, many companies only wish they could make a pale ale half as good as yours.

There beer is so good. Plus they have a family friendly place. Pet friendly as well.

This place is amazing. It doesn't matter what mood I am in, when I am here I just feel great and everything is better. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys and craftbrew and some good company!

Let's start off by being berated when my wife and friend politely walked in to see if dogs were allowed. It was met with a rude woman walking through both of them to tell me that dogs aren't allowed in and let me remind you that I was no where near even entering. If this is the type of people you have at your establishment then you should reconsider your hiring practices. I informed her that next time she should tone herself down a little and be more polite to potential customers before they can ask a question.

Has quickly become an Athens tourist attraction. It's always packed on weekends and release parties for good reason.

I love their beers! They have lots of different options, ranging from hoppy to fruity! Also, they release lots of seasonal beers throughout the year so be sure to look at their Facebook page for updates. The atmosphere at the brewery is super chill and fun! It s also dog-friendly! And on Wednesdays, there s a Farmers Market there!

The building was cool but the beer wasn't very good. I like trying local breweries, this one was not the best.

No signs, look for the tire shop signs, get the Shandy's cause you can't find those in stores.

Great atmosphere and amazing beer! They always have a variety of beers on draft so whether you enjoy a nice IPA or pale ale or milk porter, you will find a beer you'll love! They also always have seasonal beers (Tritonia with cucumber lime is one of my all time faves!) The outdoor patio area is nice and they have free live concerts very frequently as well. I would definitely recommend Creature Comforts if you're a beer enthusiast

Of the three Athens breweries, Creature is by far my favorite. They aren't as IPA crazy as Terrapin, and they don't have the as big of a selection as Southern, but what they do have and keep on tap is always quality. Tropicalia is their signature, but personally, the Reclaimed Rye is probably the best you can get there that's not available at the grocery store.

They also have a lot of excellent seasonal beers, which, it's unfortunate that they don't produce more often, because they run out so quickly due to extremely popularity. Plus, CC is downtown already, and makes a good starting or gathering spot for your group of friends before you hit the bars.

Cool brewery, but stay away from that cucumber beer, bleh

Their outdoor seating or beer garden is beautiful. Our server, Reagan, was so helpful and kind. And the beer was so good and unique: from beermosas to a barrel-aged beer blend brewed with local peaches (delicious).

Holy cow, these beers are amazing and this staff is amazing. My wife and I made a stop here for our honeymoon and they were so nice and we loved it so much. Easily one of the best brewery experiences and some of my new favorite beers!

Lots of room, bring dogs for the outdoor section or cool off indoors. Good beer choices. IPA heavy selections.

Great space in an old tire shop right in downtown Athens. Tropicalia is one of the best IPAs coming out of the south right now.

Favorite Georgia brewery. All there beers are always consistantly great. Never had a beer from them I didn't like. Location is also excellent.

This is a cool place. Open area, good beer. They don't serve food, but you can bring food in.

Excellent beer and excellent people! The staff are knowledgeable and hospitable. Creature Comforts clearly puts a lot of work into making sure that they are creating a great product. The staff education and buy-in are evident in interactions with all employees from the door girl to bartenders to retail managers. We had a great visit! Pets are allowed outside and inside is comfortable and air conditioned.

While I like Terrapin, for Athens breweries, I love Creature Comforts. Tropicalia and Athena are two of my favorites - two very refreshing beers.

CC makes my absolute favorite beer out of the three Athens breweries and with the convenient downtown location, the discount for local residents (or bringing a previous glass), and all the great beer--it's a staple for anyone visiting Athens. You can grab a bite to eat downtown, go to Creature Comforts, and then grab another bite to eat before hailing and uber home. Plus tons of restaurants give you 15% off if you have your CC wristband. All-in-all, CC is a great brewery, with a wonderful atmosphere, and a great many perks!

Everything you want in a local brewery. Not sure what's better, the delicious world class beer or the amazing staff.

Beer was decent, nothing special. Staff was rude when asking a question. Can't taste a beer before buying it. So much for southern hospitality. There are several better breweries to try. I will not be back.

Great place. They adhered to the social distancing rules. Plenty of beers to choose from. Awesome atmosphere and friendly service.

Great beer, great place to hang out with friends. Right in the heart of downtown Athens. You can bring in your own food!
Lyft to or from there and they donate to charity. Certain beers they sell also donate profits to charity as well, such as the Get Comfortable IPA. Also theres something about your birthday and them giving to charity as well. Galactic Space Circus was my favorite beer on draft. The only reason i dont give them 5 stars is they don't do Growlers or crowlers of any kind. So some of their best beers, you can't take home.

Wow! What a great brewery! Loved the service abs the beer selection. The tropicalia was amazing. Nice space too.
