Loved the whole experience, the actors were funny and they made my girlfriend scream so it really made my day.

Fun and affordable experience.
They leave you waiting a while(20 min) for us in the first room,very stuffy,whilst they build up the numbers to begin the tour.
They don t explain this at arrival.
Overall good fun

Brilliant from beginning to end. Jumpy, a little scary and great fun. The actors do a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend!

Very entertaining location. One learns something about the dark times of Amsterdam and gets it via actor mediated. It can sometimes happen that one is also forced into an active role as a visitor. But do not worry, you will not be attacked or anything like that. Also quite suitable for children, because there is no horror show or similar. However, I also know the dungeon of London, which is a bit better, which is why I put a star on the entertainment side.

Very good experience. We had several starts and giggles. The only downside, English that must be mastered. But we had a great time!

All details were amazing .. from the entrance to the adventure through the dungeons... Photo were not allowed through the tour , but it was horrifying, funny, and audience engagements..
You can purchase tickets online or at the desk, there are tours every while so depending on what time u arrive.. Not suitable for kids.. Great experience.

This was a fun experience, although a bit cringy sometimes. I would say the dungeon is more comical and less scary, although I did get a fright sometimes. It would have been awesome if they put a bit more of the city's history into the maze, but presumably they cater to a broad market. Whether it's worth the ticket price is debatable though.

Was a quite good the stories were not that scary but was great experience

Not nearly as good as my other Dungeon visits. Was rushed and got stuck behind in a room for a few minutes while I tried to wave down staff on camera or call out until I was heard. The free beer was a plus.

nice experience, not really spectacular but you will learn some Amsterdam inns and outs.

Interesting tour of all the different ways people were physically tortured in Europe. Fairly vivid descriptions and recreations of pain contraptions with historical explanations and examples. A bit dark, but the name is self-explanatory, right?

Really fun experience, not really a scary attraction but fun non the less. Recommend this for tourists.

My second time here and I highly recommend it. It's a shame the roller coaster wasn't here but it's still an amazing experience regardless. Hats off to all the workers and performers brilliant job to them

Well done! Many different rooms and stories, more than my other Dungeon visit in Hamburg. I particularly enjoyed the mirror maze!

The amsterdam dungeons are a thrill and a fright all wrapped into one spooky bundle.

From the great character actors to the special effects it is an excellently executed performance that grabs your attention at every opportunity.

I'm not ashamed to say that at one or two points I was grabbing onto my girlfriend for safety...

Due to how dark it it could be a prime spot for pickpockets, we had a little trouble ourselves but it definitely didn't ruin the tour for us.

Long ago that I have been here, but what a great experience I had with my family. Nice to do it sometime soon.

The journey through the old dark history of Amsterdam was very well staged. There were a few "jump scares" where everything went dark and someone stood right in front of you when the light flashed. That made it really intense tbh.
I'm going to other Dungeons in the future time!

One tip for people thinking to go into the Dungeon: Go to "Tours & Tickets" and buy a combiticket! You're savin 17,50 .

Worst thing which have seen in life.Even if they give you free tickets have a sleep inspite of going there.

Inside was great & the actors were very enthusuastic...however, upon entering the building, you are stopped for photos. I was with a partner who was given an axe & I asked the young man (who worked there) if I could have it instead. He harshly said "No! My house, my rules" & that as the female, I should have to be in the stocks. That's absolute crap! It was my experience! I had paid for it! I was disgusted with the way he had spoken to me & it put me off of wanting to go in. Consequently, no photos were purchased.

What a shame that all the hard work of everyone else in the building was ruined by a misogynistic idiot at the start. He needs to receive some equality & diversity, quality & customer care training!

Not scary but the players are great and the atmosphere is very nice

It was amazing. It was entertaining and scary at the same time. It's as good as the London Dungeon. A must visit for tourists.

The Amsterdam Dungeons was brilliant from start to finish. The staff kept u entertained they made u laugh and jump at the same time. Its very interactive and well worth the money.

Can only be positive about this, would receive more stars if it were possible. An interesting piece of Amsterdam's history in a dark jacket. Great actors / actresses who let the story live and stimulate interaction with the audience.

I've been to the one in Berlin and Amsterdam's dungeon does everything better! Was an enjoyable experience to say the least would definitely recommend trying it if you're in Amsterdam.

Very scary I didn't like it personally, but my boyfriend did hence the 4 stars

If you are fluent in the English language then it is definitely a must to have a look here. Made very interesting and exciting. People are also involved in the show.

with the extra actors this week is more fun. a bit exciting and immediately instructive

The Netherlands, one of those fantastically regulated states on many issues. A completely relaxed lifestyle where everyone looks at their jobs and lives as he wants without being condemned by anyone. Amsterdam's capital city is a capital with full law. You have everything you want. Apart from being a beautiful city because of its characteristic buildings and channels that cut it, it offers an excellent daily as well as a night outing. A lot of sights to visit, riding a boat is a real pleasure ... And so I could by tomorrow about that city and that country, but the conclusion is one VISIT IT IF IT WILL BE IN THE PRIEST FOR IT AND IT WILL NOT SHOW

Great actors. Big ticket booked with 3 attractions. Fast processing at the cash register. No waiting for a long time. Scary factor guaranteed

A fun break in between all the museums and coffee shops! It s essentially a performance haunted house. They take some events that have occurred in Amsterdam s history and you are lead through different rooms where an actor in character performs a bit and all the actors were great. Maybes it s you getting sold into a ships service, a medieval autopsy or the trial and burning of a witch, a pleasure my wife received. I thought it would have been a little more historical, touching on specific events or people and it wasn t but my wife loved it and I definitely enjoyed change of pace. Took about two hours all together and I feel it was worth the price. Great thing to do between events or as a group.

Amazing. Wow wow the best thing you will ever experience. Dont bother with the joint attraction tickets they are not worth it. This is the place you want to see

We were just the four of us inside so there was a lot of attention for everyone. Everyone thought it was great. Was super nice done!

Really great fun, we were already there when this just opened. Entertainment with history for young and old. Voc Ship and decor Amsterdam crazy from the past, that roller coaster at the end can last much longer and if Spoken can walk around during the entire tour then it is TOP.

Absolutely amazing!!! The staff are super friendly, they get the crowd involved and you get to learn a bit about the history of the place too. The only thing though is I would recommend visiting with a group of friends because it's more fun being scared as a group. Other than that, definitely worth the visit

Great experience, the actors are giving themselves to the bottom, we do not see the time passing it was really great.

Took a 7 and 8 year old, it was scary and fun for them. You know what you're getting, some silly fun with a little history, good way to spend an hour. They have tours in English and Dutch.

I loved it. My boyfriend did not like it that much. So it goes of the person. Dark environments. It took me several scares. I thought it was very fun. I need to speak English so I can understand.

The theater is good. But, if you do not know English, do not waste 1.5 hours in vain

Not bad, nearly identical to the London dungeon except some little changes to incorporate Amsterdam history. Not particularly scary.

Amazing experience!! If i ever comeback to Amsterdam definitely go again!
