Fantastic! Awesome! An experience that you must have experienced. Do not skip this if you are in Amsterdam.
The actors do it soooo nice and with so much humor.

Get in the dock! Great way to spend a bit of time laughing and learning a bit about the history of Amsterdam.

The experience is scary, hilarious and informative. In my opinion it s an Amsterdam must-visit attraction

The atmosphere is quite horrible, the staff and actors inside will suddenly scare you, funny and terrible fun experience.

We did not go back but it was funny. All this music for a scary purpose. I was told of the good of this place.

Like it. Good attraction in Amsterdam.not for small children but for older kids (+10years )

Nice to experience once, very dynamic with the audience. Allow about an hour and a half for it, then you will be outside again. After the show, only a souvenir shop and then you walk outside again. That was a bit disappointing.

Bit dissapointed, no real story not as long as London or blackpool

The most important square is that of meeting the city ... Beautiful large rich in tourists

I would never go here if it was not on the Amsterdam pass nor would I recommend anyone stopping here when you can use your time elsewhere. This really was more theater than history.

Super great rooms, and people. But you should be fluent in English, because sometimes very fast spoken and one does not come afterwards.

The visit was nice, even though I expected "something different".
English or Dutch should be mastered very well in order to understand everything.

Childish show I don't think it's worth the expensive entrance!

Great actors and a great way to find out the stories of the city.

A very good experience, which I will gladly repeat, like a horror film on a human scale (still suitable for the little ones) we go through the darkest stories of Amsterdam mixing history and thrills where each of the visitors is the hero at each room, devices are provided for cardiac patients or the most sensitive people, to do so and everyone will have fun

It was a wonderful experience. The actors were great and funny. I got the chance to show my acting skills which thrilled the audience. I would go there again. You can get your tickets at the tour shops in Amsterdam.

Great experience really something you should experience

Fun, but doesn't give any history of Amsterdam and is only about an hour long. Special effects are entertaining, acting is campy but amusing, and the sets are intriguing.

They make you scared in all ways, from the severed arm and the screaming in the bathroom to the various shows in sequence. Funny.

Mandatory Mandatory Mandatory at any age in any weather. Just take into account that after that you will not be able to enjoy the similar attraction in the country.

Good acting and atmosphere. People should get more involved in action.

They put on a real show with real actors. It was very entertaining.

At some times extremely scary and at other times just really funny. Amazing actors worth every penny!
And booking over the internet saves you a lot of money! ;)

This place is super hokey and touristy. That being said, if you are prepared to let that go and just enjoy this place for what it is, it can be a fun afternoon. The performers play out different points from Amsterdam's past with audience "volunteers" (randomly selected members of the group). You progress through the Dungeon as a group of about 20.

If touristy hoke is not your thing, don't waste your time and money. But, if you're prepared to suspend your disbelief and get into the spirit of the thing, it can be an enjoyable experience.

Super fun tour. Together with my son of 7 ... He loved it!

Very interesting and exciting. Unfortunately limited in part only to the Middle Ages and not really leading the city history. The best was the first guy at the beginning, who yelled at the people in English, that here everything was realistic as shown in the Middle Ages and then pressed the button on the elevator to carry people up in groups. Very authentic -but :-)

A funny scenario if you are willing to enter the spirit / joke. The actors are extraordinarily talented!

Very exciting stories, not so scary but great acting

It's like visiting an amusement ride you can't get off of, and everything is over the top

It was awesome ... Absolutely recommended ... We celebrated JGA in Amsterdam and the dungeon was on the program. Absolutely brilliant

If you've been to london dungeon then you might find it a bit boring. However, the last ride in this one is really scary. Avoid bringing children as a 7-8 year old girl got really scared after the end ride. It's actually not a ride, you have to walk forward and weird things come in front of you suddenly and that can scare anyone. Overall a good experience it was for me.

it was the best money I spent in amsterdam,
a bit scary, a bit educational and a lot funny.

Cool experience for those who like horror. Very original way of relaying history through the form of live actors, they create a properly scary atmosphere at times and have some real jump scares which really got me good (and I was very sceptical going in!)

Nice, if you want something different. I had a great time and laughed.

You can't go to Amsterdam without going there.
If you're like terror like me, you can't miss it

The truth is I really liked it. I was afraid that it was a kind of fear from Portaventura but the truth is that sometimes I laughed and got scared but at no time did I have that anxiety fear of wanting to go out so I thanked it.
They take you in different rooms and the truth is that it seems real, you interact with the actors and you are part of the scene. My friend and I went with a Brazilian couple who made the experience even better because we all laughed a lot together. I recommend it to have a good time

If you want to discover a little bit of the past, this is a theatrical place

Far too expensive and too short for what you actually get

A great experience in itself! Great actors who guide you from scenario to scenario. However, I thought it was a little creepier. There were hardly any real jump scares . Still worth a visit :)
Tip: Buying online tickets is cheaper.
Pre-ordered a guidebook in German online, nice souvenir.

Friendly staff , good experience , above average tourists trap , but if you have heart problems it's not for you if you have kids it not for you , and its linked with the madame tussauds ticket so to go to one you have to go to the other.

In general, it's fun. You need to know English in order to immerse yourself in a theatrical performance

All in all really nice, however, as opposed to not particularly scary. The cast of the cast is excellent! And the experience pays off. Total recommend

Amazing actors, scary and funny and the same time!!

Amateurish, cringe-making attempts at humor and horror. Dull!
Forget any idea of history or contextualising any of the rubbishy presentations.

Really funny! But you should be able to speak English.

Super. Had a lot of fun. Too bad that there was only English & Dutch language as a tour. When there are audio guides in every larger church.

Fun place to learn some new stuff about Amsterdam and at the same time get a few memories :) The price was ok and it's of course placed in the centre, so easy to find.
