We we're in a large party for my Grandsons 11th birthday party. I have never be disappointed with the food or the service however tonight was definitely a disappointment. I actually had a server tell me that it was better for me to pay more for an adult meal that to serve my granddaughter a children's meal and add a side. I got charged 10$ for a 7 year old child to eat. Also the food was not as delicious as in times past. Annoyed

Food was ok. Rattlesnake bites are delicious! Hubby had Roadkill, he said it was good. He had green beans which were not good.....too much ham or smoke flavor. I had sirloin steak topped with mushrooms and onions and baked sweet potato with side salad. Salad was ok, potato was delicious, steak was mediocre. Service was excellent

My 2 adult sons and I enjoyed the food - it was great, but it was my server, Hannah, that lowered my above rating to just 3 stars. She seemed to be preoccupied during our meal with another agenda. I had to go get her for a refill of water. At the very end she pulled the classic line of pretending to show interest in us by asking personal questions in an attempt to pull us over to her side to increase her tip. Her primary attribute was that she was beautiful, and she understandably tries to use that to her advantage. I don't fault her for that. However, the primary complaint I have is that I believe she altered the tip. I left her a little over 15% tip in spite of the mediocre service she provided. With tip the bill came to the total of $45.71. However, my statement has a charge of $46.81. You can easily see how the 5 was altered to a 6, and the 7 was altered to an 8. This increased my bill by $1.10. I know it is just a small amount, but the principle is that she was dishonest and took a larger tip that I had indicated. Her altered ego is no reason for her to take what she thinks she deserves, when the customer is the one who decides the tip. Hannah, you need to get your head in the game and provide quality service to all of your customers. Then you will earn the tip that you desire.

Ordered steak medium. It was way overcooked on the outside,burnt taste. I've had good steaks there. They weren't having a good night I suppose.

I placed an order for pick up and ordered a 12oz ribeye medium well and a 8 oz sirloin well done and they were backwards the ribeye was well done and the sirloin was medium well and in the potatoes it was hardly any in the container. I ordered extra ranch and only received one small ranch cup. I m very disappointed

Needs improvement ,slow service ,inconsistent food and service

Had not been here for a couple years. Steak was still great. Based on the lines when we left, a lot of others enjoy this restaurant too!

There is always friendly and happy workers. After years they feel like family. Great food at a reasonably price.

Good american comfort food. Relaxed atmosphere. Servers in jeans. Servers are very personable, and there when you need them. I like that you can get a bowl of chili as a side, particularly this time of year. Good cook on the steak.

Could use a darker beer on tap. Mostly lagers.

The bread is a warm delight.

Great staff, food is wonderful .....wish they had asparagus though.

This was the best visit ever. Our waitress was awesome... She not only had her section but was covering for a no show. Not only she was very attentive to our table she showed every table the same hospitality with a smile. I made my husband tip her 100% of our bill she deserved every penny! The food was on point for everyone @ our table.

Great steaks. Just not a good place for parties above 6. Very loud.

Enjoyed the meal , table was a little to small for all the dishes and food that was ordered. I would still give it 5 stars.

Graduation weekend, packed restaurant. Service eased amazing, all good can out quickly and error free! Great experience!

The steak was tender and juicy. I would return some more meat and potatoes.

It s the meat selection and the chefs touch that separates this steak house from all the rest. If you want a great night out, go to Texas Roadhouse to start it.

Always great service and great food. One of my favorite places. My ribs were dry and a little overcooked, otherwise I enjoyed as always. Watermelon margarita with lemon and lime added was gd too.

My husband and I came to the Texas Roadhouse in Lynchburg, VA on July 17th 2020. We had dinner and it was delicious. Our server Matthew was very nice and the manager on duty Brian was excellent!! We will be back!!!

This place was so packed but we still got fast service and still got a really good steak out of the deal

I ordered the sirloin and it tasted great! And I loved the bread and cinnamon butter that was.served. I will definitely be returning to eat here again.

There are not many places were you can feel relaxed and casual and you get a large cloth napkin and fresh warm biscuits, plus all the peanuts you can eat. Also the food is always good.

I ordered inside, stood at the correct counter, was ignored for a moment then asked if I was ordering. Was not offered a menu, had to ask for it. The worker walked away for about 30 seconds after giving a menu and asked if I was ready to order in a rushing demeanor upon returning.

I was asked if needed to see my food before leaving, good thing I did because there was food missing and I had to ask for bread also.

I wouldn't have known better if I didn't witness my friend receiving way better service before me to the point that she did not have to open her mouth other than for acknowledgement. (We did not walk in together)

We always enjoy eating here. The staff is always friendly and the food great. They have some great deals for lunch hours that make it just as cheap as as fast food place but much better food!

Dinner was good. My salad arrived before the appetizer. felt like I was being rushed out. I understand turning tables, but you spend $100 on dinner for 2 you want time to enjoy it. Plus I downloaded their app. It didn't work. And my server had no info to help with that. Other than that

This restaurant is ONLY getting 4 stars because of the phenomenal service I received when I picked up my order. I placed a to-go order of prime rib, and got back to my hotel to discover they did NOT give me any au jus! Who wants to eat prime rib without au jus?! No one! The only seasoning on a prime rib is on the outer edges of the meat (because of how it's cooked). Therefore, the rest of the meat completely lacked any flavor what-so-ever. The waitress did go over some of the contents in my bag with me before I left; however, I just assumed the au jus was in the container with my food since it was a hot food item (the other containers in my bag were for my loaded mashed potatoes, so they were cold food items, such as cheese and sour cream). If my reviews only focused on food, I would give this restaurant 2 stars just because I was stuck eating an unflavored slab of meat. However, the service was phenomenal--the staff was VERY kind, and the manager even accepted my out-of-town local school discount card, and I am VERY appreciative of that. Again, the amazing staff is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars.

Being from Texas, I had to swallow my pride to come here, but I was willing to submit to the group of non Texas persons and Europeans in my group. I was pleasantly pleased with the service and the food was good too! The rolls lived up to the talk.

Good place to eat... Great steaks!...Too busy...they run out of our favorites too often. Prices are getting too high to eat there more than we do

Food was awesome as always. Service was excellent. But the number of people in the place was stifling even though they used every other table. That makes it dangerously good.

Funny thing I just posted a review of another steak place in town and was prompted to review this one also. You will not find a better steak in town than you will get here. It is very consistent. Sometimes I am not in the mood for the loudness and hectic atmosphere and choose the other place.

Better bring your appetite they serve the best steaks and have the most attentive servers!

Bread wasn't done, bbq chicken was delicious. I have had better ribeyes.

I really used to love their bread rolls and cinamon butter before I went vegan. Food is okay, really depends on the chef that day.

The bread and cinnamon butter hits the spot everytime. My steak was well done but not tough which seems to be a problem everywhere else. I could eat here every week!!!

Service was great, food was great. BUT whats the deal with wearing masks under your nose? At least half the staff was wearing them that way. And, seating people right next to you is not good - booths adjacent to the bar booths should not have people seated right next to each other - skip a booth.

Used to be my favorite place to go...until I bite into something in a grilled chicken salad. My tooth was damaged, I called customer relations they refused to help me ( I have 4 witnesses) because they could not find anything to substantiate my claim. Getting ready for my third trip to the dentist to repair my broken tooth. Oh well live and learn....won't be going there anymore.

Food was awesome, waiters were great and always had something in my glass.

My favorite chain steakhouse. The green beans are one of the best sides around.
