This place is amazing! The staff is so kind. My surgeon was great and the nurses are great. They are so kind and accommodating. The food isn t just good for hospital food, is legit great food! These people care about their patience and made me feel comfortable even with two broken ankles.

Went in for an outpatient procedure, and I have to say the nicest, most caring place I've ever been. Dr Sloan has the best bed side manner of any Dr I've ever had and Texas Institute for Surgery was an extension of his compassion. Best Nurses and staff of any place I've visited.
Facility is outstanding. Watching billing codes, they will ding you for services that aren't performed. There word against yours ask after procedures, what he or she is in the post-op or pre-op what is there purpose.
Had surgery here 2/25/20 not only was the facility great it was awesome. All the people that I talked to were very polite. My doctor Dr Grantham was awesome she is wonderful and this facility should be proud to have wonderful doctors like her along with the facility and dr Grantham I would give you 20 stars if I could.
I came here for knee surgery and was not impressed. The anesthesiologist was extremely cocky and arrogant and didn t explain much prior to surgery. When we asked for my mom to be able to be with me when I woke up, the staff said that they wouldn t allow her to be with me right away since it was against protocol. I understand that the rules are the way they are for a reason, but I have extreme anxiety when it comes to hospitals/medical procedures, and everywhere else I ve been to they have been very understanding of that and worked with us, but not here. I woke up without my mom and freaked out, but they wouldn t budge. When I was moved out of recovery and into the post-op area I needed to use the bathroom and the nurses argued with me about needing to use crutches, when I had been told I would be able to walk after surgery (which I was). They refused to allow me to go to the bathroom until they got me crutches, which took forever and made me physically very uncomfortable and also very upset. Finally they tracked down my mom who had brought my crutches just in case, and they gave them to me so I could finally use the bathroom. I understand their concern and wanting to probably be safe rather than sorry, but they could ve either checked my chart and seen I was cleared to walk or at least found another way to do it while not making me wait so long when I really needed to go. Additionally, most of the staff wasn t very friendly and didn t really seem like they cared; instead they just looked like they were going through the motions. The only reason I m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the nurse I had with me in recovery right after surgery. She was really nice, calm, patient, and caring, and really tried to help me feel comfortable. Overall, I didn t have a very good experience at all though and wouldn t recommend this place.
Wonderful staff from beginning to end. Carissa at the front is a fantastic person. She made my anxiety melt away. My nurse was phenomenal. She listened to my concerns and was the sweetest person. Wish I could have hugged her. The nurse that went into surgery with my held my hand while I was going to sleep and another held my hand while I was coming out. The PT people were wonderful too. I am so pleased with my experience here and grateful for the kindness that was shown to me. Thank you everyone!!
What a wonderfully kind staff! As someone who works in the business too I am very perceptive and know what it takes to do a great job. They are upbeat, like working with each other, treat each person with a smile, respect. Truly great. Highly recommend
I had foot surgery on both of my feet December 13th. The staff was VERY nice and my surgery went smoothly. However, billing has NOT gone well. I was told the morning of my surgery I had to pay for all of my surgery upfront because my deductible was $6,900. When I told them my deductible wasn't that high I was told they had spoken to my insurance and I either had to pay or reschedule my surgery (which was not an option). After surgery, I called and told them that sure enough my deductible was $2,800. (Of which I had already met) I was rudely told that once they had filed the ins. claim with my insurance I would have to wait for my ins. claim to run its course and then they would determine if I would get a refund. Apparently it is also faster to get my refund if I give them permission to simply put the charges back on my debit card but I can not (pre) give them permission to do that. I have to call back and hope that I call after they have reconciled my account AND before they start the "refund by check" process which will delay getting my refund another 3 weeks. When I asked when I should call back...daily weekly...??? I was told "It could be today...it could be a week from today you will just have to call back to know." There are some processes that need to be rethought.
I had bilateral hip surgery there about 2 years ago. I couldn't be more ecstatic about the care I received. The nurses and physical therapists were wonderful. I received immediate attention when I requested help. The food was so good. My family told me that it was like I am staying at the Ritz. This is the place to have surgery.
