My daughter have been learning violin at Terra Sounds for 2 years. She loves going for her violin lesson, because her violin teacher Zhanna is always patient and positive in her teaching. My daughter has a great steady process on playing violin. I highly recommend Zhanna!
I used the practice rooms at Terra Sounds almost daily while I was in Chicago for three weeks. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them the people are lovely and the facilities are great.
I ve been taking violin lessons there. I have nothing but great things to say about zhanna my instructor. She is such a great teacher of music. She encourages me to challenge myself and pushes me to keep trying., Isn t that what great teachers do. Terra Sounds is a great choice for kids and adults, from the completebeginners to the advanced musicians. I am taking an adult guitar classfor 3 months now. Love their friendly, comfortable atmosphere; lessonsare fun, but very productive. I am honored to have Sasha Brusin as my guitar teacher, a GREAT musician and a wonderful person. I've been a Terra Sounds customer since 8/21/18 and have been paying for 2 classes (piano & art) every week (with the exception of holidays and school breaks). However, on 12/23/19, a clerk, Katya, decided to cancel my daughter's art class without any explanation using the following email...

I wanted to let you know that unfortunately, your piano teacher will no longer be available at 4:00 pm on Thursdays, starting after the Holidays. I hate to break the bad news right before X-mas, but I decided that letting you know sooner would be better.

After questioning the email, the owner called me and told me that my situation wasn't handled correctly and that Katya cancelled my class because of repetitive cancellations. However, I was unaware of any repetitive cancellations cancellation policy and she didn't even give me the courtesy of letting me know about it or give me a warning. She's quite good at billing follow-up but couldn't give me the courtesy of letting me know that she was cancelling my daughter's class and why.
My little girl loves both her piano teacher (and his piano lessons) and her art teacher Marina (and her art classes) and Katya has taken this away from her. A school is not only about its classes, it's about the way it treats people. Because of Katya, Terra Sounds has failed miserably.
My son has been taking viola lessons with Zhanna for the past year and I clearly see progress in his performance. This would not be possible without a special atmosphere of the Terra Sounds School of Music and Arts and definitely without dedication and professionalism of the teacher.

We have been taking violin lessons with Zhanna for over two years and are very happy with the way my granddaughter has been progressing. Zhanna is very professional and fair teacher, she always tells it like it is, which motivates my granddaughter to try her best. I highly recommend her.
I have been taking both guitar and voice lessons for a few weeks now, and have really been enjoying them. The facility is beautiful inside and a very friendly environment to walk in to. Teachers are patient and comfortable to talk to, so it's easy to focus on learning new material without feeling scared to try new things.
I also like that there are art lessons as well as music lessons, and I think that mixing those two concepts in one facility is unique and beneficial to its students. It opens up people to learning more than just on instrument and to reaching out of their comfort zone.
All in all this is a great place to go to and I definitely recommend it those thinking about taking classes here.
We have been taking our son here for his piano lessons for almost four years. This is a good school - the facility is excellent and the teachers are awesome. My son is looking forward to every lesson. I really like the fact that the teacher knows his music preferences and suggests musical pieces based on his taste.
