Paradise of relaxation and well-being in the heart of Maremma surrounded by a beautiful landscape

Beautiful location, beautiful waterfalls, abundant hot water, however, on Monday afternoon at 18 the parking lot was overflowing like the falls.

Still free place, there is just too much dirt lying around, too bad it would have been a full 5 star.

a must in tuscany. the thermal baths are free. no entrance fees and no parking fees. Arriving early is worthwhile as many visitors come during the day.

Natural rock pools filled by lovely warm hot springs rich in sulphur. Free access and open 24/7, all year. The car park is height limited to 2.20m, so unfortunately not accessible for motorhomes.

Very nice pity that it is ruined by uncivilized people

BEAUTIFUL place sin people's incivility, glass bottles, cigarette butts, clothes left everywhere despite the sites to throw them. Last but not least there are those who have a bath on all fours. Maybe a little too much since you don't pay!

Beautiful place immersed in the countryside of the Tuscan Maremma, open every day 24 hours a day, all year round. Close to beautiful villages such as Montemerano, Pitigliano and Saturnia itself.

Fantastic. Wonderful. A place that needs no introduction. Useful to know that thanks to some light bar near lit the night even at night are enjoyable

Late Feb 2020, Just before COVID19 lockdown: Landed in FCO and on our drive up to Siena decided to stop at the Insta-famous thermal baths.
we arrived in rental car around noon. The main parking lot was full and the traffic (car and foot) coming and going was pretty good for being in the middle of nowhere. Several signs indicated that the parking lot was monitored and being recorded. Many people were changing outside their cars and we did the same. We went in to the thermal baths for max 45 minutes and then returned to the car (which I had backed in against a wall in main parking lot) to find the passenger rear window smashed, and the seat to the back hatch of our VW Polo rental down and ALL our luggage stolen. We were able to get the police (who were very nice) to come down (30 minutes) and they did a loop of town to see if the robbers had dumped anything they deemed not of value. Apparently per police this happens A LOT here. I was surprised as none of the prior postings mentioned this on all my review sites. I know theft is common in Italy but anticipated it more in the cities and south - not in this lil spot in the middle of nowhere. BE AWARE and be VERY vigilant when renting and driving in Italy. Everyone who helped us was nice but luggage was a total loss and it also cost us 2 days to correct issues (filing police report, driving 3 hours out of the way to go to a mall, swapping out the rental cars for one with 4 windows).

Nice place - but a bit crowded. Remember to bring bathing shoes.

Wonderful place, source of thermal water.
Voted one of the most beautiful places in the world, and incredibly it's FREE.
Absolutely to visit, but avoid the holidays, during the week it is in sarsle is excellent.

The scenery is very beautiful. The natural pools are a spectacle. Total relaxation, surrounded by nature. Only poorly organized as far as bathroom services are concerned.

Thermal paradise immersed in the greenery of the Maremma, with cascades of hot water. Very crowded in August. Ample adjacent parking and refreshment point with services. To try.

Certainly a somewhat sui generis place, which one would not expect in the Tuscan hills; it's worth a visit!

A truly unusual place where man's hand seems not to have reached us yet. Free flowing hot water. Beware of low blood pressure sufferers. In the summer, I recommend bringing an umbrella with you as there is little chance of shelter in the shade on the spot. In the immediate vicinity there is a car park and a well-stocked bar. Highly recommended!

Lovely place ... I spent two days here and I was amazed at how wonderful nature is.
This place offers natural pools that have formed over time with the thermal waters that have a warm temperature around 35 degrees .. Even though there were many people we managed to keep our distance and to stay each in a quiet and uncrowded place. I highly recommend it !!

Very nice and easily accessible place.
Too bad for the dogs inside the tanks ... I love animals and I own dogs and cats ... but I don't think it's hygienic, moreover if they do their needs they have to be collected, not left where people walk and stretch the sheets.
Perhaps they lack a set of rules but above all common sense.

Absolutely stunning lanscape and hot sulfurous water. Is said to be packed in season, quite nice off season when I went, therefore the stars. Accessible by night, which makes it a memorable experience.

Relaxing .. the only flaw is that being a natural source is full of little animals .. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go take their shoes to walk in the water! And a bathrobe .. Near the falls there is a bar with everything .. Bathroom restaurant showers. ample parking

A very nice place. The water is about 37 degrees warm. The place is accessible to everyone. Parking is free and use of the termal source is also free. A small kiosk provides the necessary refreshment. So highly recommended. Even the arrival is very nice over the mountains.

Highly recommended for rock climbing shoes! For the rest what to say beautiful. I recommend going over the mill at least to see the beautiful pools that are equipped with ropes

It is not a triviality that this place remains a marvel that has been appreciated since ancient times by the Roman emperors themselves.
Aside from the sulphurous smell that someone might annoy, it seems to immerse yourself in an enchanted place where time has stopped. Where you would like to become a drone to be able to appreciate the beauty of this place from every point of view ... Recommended for all ages ...
In the upper part the stream has some puddles but the water forms several whirlpools due to the current. In the lower part there is space for every type of need. Those who make mud are those who want to get massaged by the waterfalls who want to stay immersed. in short, an undisturbed little corner recommended to be seen at least once in a lifetime.

Beautiful place if it weren't for the countless red worms inside the water. It is not easy to see them right away but once you notice them you realize that you are surrounded. I ran away running. They say they are mosquito larvae and they do not hurt, but they really suck ...

First attempt to see the thermal baths of Saturnia. Free but poorly managed. On-site only bar with spartan toilets, people changed into cars in the adjacent parking lot. Using masks went hand in hand with clothes, costume no longer seemed necessary. Accomplice on a sunny Saturday, the crowd was much shorter than allowed. Better management would be desirable, even in the face of any entry ticket in the face of greater security and serenity.

Every time I come to Maremma, especially on days with little sun, the waterfalls are a must. After the dive, it is advisable to take a shower in the adjacent bar (tokens are usually purchased). Ample parking, nice to go in the evening for those who stop to sleep nearby.

We came here in September and expected it to be less crowded, but it wasnt. Its very hard to find the public/free part of the thermal springs, and the parking lot was very crowded but we did find a spot near the end. The water is very rocky, bring water shoes. It is definitely a nice experience, and the water feels great. However, the crowding makes your photos and experience subpar, and you do have to keep an eye on your belongings so you cant explore too much. I would recommend it as it is a unique experience, but next time I would go to the thermal spa and enter the paid portion of the hot springs. They are likely better maintained, cleaner, and less crowded. This place is beautiful, but I must say it is a little bit more beautiful in those edited photos you see online :)

The place is really beautiful and evocative, with the characteristic sulphurous smell of thermal waters. The only flaw is the difficulty in reaching the place which is not just around the corner. However, once reached, the compromise is acceptable. The lukewarm water, the waterfalls and natural pools in this corner of paradise make you forget the not very easy road to follow, the hairpin bends that lead to the spas meander through the woods and, at times, cut through the vineyards of the excellent Morellino di Scansano and the olive groves with its centenary plants.

Always natural and beautiful. Warm, pleasant water, right temperature and not smelly. Public parking very close. There is also a refreshment point with a toilet.

It was really good even it is for free. We spent a time for 1 hour. Body becomes smelly for a while .

The place is beautiful and a visit is advisable. it is always very crowded, unfortunately people are not very polite in general, as often happens humans give harm (better) to defend a small space instead of sharing, get ready to elbow

Beautiful place immersed in the wild nature po a little too much posto the place for my tastes has its charmbut it is really in the wild .. To really enhance it you should treat it more ... It is a pity, also considering the remarkable turnout of people who visit you ... It's too much neglect ...

A place open to all, for which lack of cleanliness and hygiene on a Sunday crowded with people, garbage and lack of toilets, if not those few in the nearby private structure. Since the spa area of the mill (which is beautiful with its waterfalls) is much vaunted, and being the destination of many tourists who occupy the many farms present in considerable quantities in the area with many restaurants for lunch and dinner, the institutions should bring the site to a more acceptable hygiene situation, so for the parking area a minimum of maintenance.Mah ...... I doubt that in the future something will be done .... sin ...

Interesting for about a minute - then it kind of loses its appeal..

Natural thermal baths in the wild composed of several pools, this charming place is permanently accessible and there are always people there. We spend a pleasant time there, knowing that there is a parking nearby, as well as a bar that stays open late.

I have absolutely no words for this natural wonder that we have here in Italy precisely in the Tuscan Maremma ... It is a fantastic experience that I would propose to anyone to go there at least once in life ... and I recommend going early in the morning to find a place in the parking lot ... but trust me also to wait it will be worth it ... so as next experience put the Terme Di Saturnia at the top of the wish list.

Unique place, to appreciate it at its best it is advisable to visit it during the cold season, to enjoy even more the pleasure of a relaxing dive in the warm natural pools.

Enchanting place, simply beautiful considering that it is all natural, moreover we appreciate the fact that there is no speculation: everything is free from the parking lot to the bath in the thermal waters. A small bar offers services like pizza, coffee etc, at really cheap prices.
Bathing at night, under the stars was a wonderful experience, we'll be back soon

Fantastic! Fairytale scenery! Baths with unmissable waterfalls! If you want to spend a few hours I suggest you bring folding chairs or beds ... to be redone!

Beautiful natural area with thermal water. Free access, you have to change before arriving. Avoid the weekend that is very crowded especially with foreign tourists. Baretto alongside which offers very good typical Tuscan crostini and excellent sandwiches. It offers a shower service for a fee

Beautiful and evocative but in the water there were countless red vermicelli that swam among the bathers, moreover the area is infested with annoying horseflies that sting leaving a painful sting.

A very nice place. I was there with my family in August. It's best to go during the week. Because there is already a lot going on. However, there are not so many shady places. That's why a star deduction.

Free and beautiful .. absolutely worth visiting. You have to go with towel slippers and everything else since there is no center to rent them

Beautiful place indeed unique. Building toilets and managing them as well as showers would not be bad. Putting a parking lot with a minimum payment would not be bad with the proceeds you can build the aforementioned structures that are missing and pay the employees involved in the cleaning work.

Really cool experience hanging out in the baths here. There is a bar with food, restrooms and showers. A lot of people and possible tight parking depending upon your time/day of arrival. We didn't find anywhere to lock up your clothes, etc., everyone just had there items piled up on dry land. It could be easy to pack a lunch and beverages then entire day and just hang out if you wanted. Some had camping/lounge chairs in addition to towels to lay on.

Beautiful environment. Well worth a visit. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit. To relax in the hot water spring.
