A fantastic spa. Parking is free and the spa costs nothing. Please remove silver jewelry very important, because sulfur and silver do not like each other. The jewelry is then totally started. Lie down in some pool and enjoy the warm water. Possibly. also pack bathing shoes. Are big round pebbles, but in the long term hurts.

It is a wonderful experience .. the place is very very crowded but despite everything a place to relax and enjoy the benefits of sulphurous water is always found
Nice place to see and spend for a couple of hours. Make sure to go early in the morning. We were there at 9 'o clock on Saturday morning and was already starting to get crowded.
Fun place for free! Only difficult part is to find parking space, as nearest parks are just full. But the cascades are amazing and everyone finds a spot to enjoy warm water. No place for changing clothes, though! Looked safe enough to just leave all my things to random spot.
Unforgettable experience especially if made the last day of the year, almost to want to purify and prepare to start the new year renewed. Dream location: nature when you put it really manages to amaze !!!
Amazing place. As many suggested try to go early or late. Try to avoid the week-end. It's refreshing to see such a beautiful place open to everybody. The thermal spa of Saturnia is nearby if you want to combine both experiences.
Heaven on earth. The parking is completely free and is very large. Even when there seems to be a lot of people, the natural space is so large that a place to rest is safe.
The right name is the waterfalls or the waterfalls of the Gorello. They are splendid, slippery. Bring some closed shoes. Near there is a restaurant where they offer delicious tomato bruschetta, chopping boards with mixed cold cuts, the price is moderate but the view is spectacular.
The Terme di Saturnia are very beautiful unfortunately the lack of civilization of some people leaves the mark that makes you lose part of the innate and natural charm of this place where you can easily spend an entire afternoon even with small children. The pools are beautiful the best you get by going upstream and going into the ravines of the stream immediately after the source (beware, however, that the current is very strong and the bottom slippery so do not venture into Indiana Jones operations).
Pure paradise. Road is not the best but it is worth going there. We were there in the evening late and it is great because no crowd and water has amazing color.
A spectacle of nature, a unique beauty. Unfortunately, despite the period to avoid crowds, it is continuously crowded. The place has two large free parking spaces and a bar, then access from the "pools" is free. My wife and I arrived at 09:00 and we were able to take a bath but, already around 10:30 there were already many people camping in every corner and we preferred to leave.
Locally well-known thermal baths, free entry with convenient and ample parking available, a well-stocked and very welcoming kiosk with moderate prices. Great
Unique and magical place. To enjoy the relaxation of the spa in full nature. The only drawback, in August, is the amount of people present ... too many. To visit at night.
Hard to park with a tall car. Height limit 2.2m. If you are over, you need to park some km away, except if you arrive early morning, in this case there are few parkink place, just on the side of the main road. Worst to visit, beautiful place.
I was there a few days ago, the place is suggestive and very beautiful, unfortunately the landscape is a bit ruined due to uncivilized people who leave garbage around. It would take more checks and maybe pay a minimum ticket to keep it cleaner.
Heavenly place, exceptional water, surrounded by great restaurants in the area. Relaxing. Better in winter when there are few people. Unfortunately in the summer it is not the best as it is not respected by some people .. a free place but which, however beautiful it is, should be controlled with a minimum contribution! Large parking nearby.
It is wonderful the water is warm and clean even in November you can swim because the air around it is warm due to the vapors emitted by the water, everything is free including the large parking lot, next to it there is a pizzeria bar. Once you get to the parking lot, you undress, everything is in the car and then you should wear a bathrobe and a pair of slippers is off in the water!
This is a wonderful spot to add to any vacation trip away from pure tourist spots while visiting Italy, especially in the off-season. The water is warm, clear, and feels wonderful after being on a plane (or in a car) for what seems like forever.
Two caveats:
1) This is a bit of a trek to find your way. You will (likely) need a car to get here at all. The trip will take a bit of time, as you have to leave the Autostrada and drive back roads , meaning the standard roads you d have seen prior to straight/wide highways. This isn t a big deal, if you ve driven a country road at all just relax and you ll be perfectly ok. This is the first time I m driving in Europe, and zero issues.
2) This isn t some curated tourist place. Getting around the pools isn t easy at points. I will point out a big item here: WATER SHOES. This will save your feet, as most of us wear shoes everyday. I used them, and they also provide excellent grip. The rocks *can* be a bit slippery. The pools are uneven, and so on. This isn t a water park, they re old-style baths, that s the way it is, and that s great by me.
This place does have some amenities, during the busy season at least, with a bar nearby. However don t expect showers, lockers, or a place to change. That s just fine by me as well. People toss their towels / swim covers/ et al., wherever they find some space. Just be a good person and clean up your trash, if any. We saw no trash, but again, it doesn t hurt to be a good person.
The place is literally besieged by tourists and almost does not allow them to be used. If the goal of the visit is only to see the falls I suggest you stop by the car in the rest area which is located on the edge of the highway on the hill in front from which you can enjoy a great view.
A fantastic place with a spectacularly relaxing atmosfer. Unfortunately the food at the location was the worst food i've ever eaten. Sumery: go there, but don't eat there - bring your own food!
By itself it's an okay destination point but coupled with the scenery getting there and the cafes along the way, it's a worthwhile excursion. However, I don't think I'd have made the trip if I didn't have a car (vs. taxi). The hot spring has paid showers, free bathroom, free parking, no lockers or way to secure your stuff, and cafe. We visited in April and the water was pleasantly warm. If the air was cooler, it would probably be too cold.
A wonderful place of thermal water in the midst of nature. Unfortunately the recent rains have damaged the falls but they are still splendid. the access is closed but you can go through the woods
Nice place, sulfur-scented water, we left with all white skin. It has 1 nice bar, 4 bruschetta average 7 euros., The potato and hamburger also 7 euros. The water is not blue as it appears on their Instagram. Do not forget to go with shoes that can walk in the water, the stones hurt the feet
Free and spectacular. Reachable both in the lower part where there are the waterfalls and the hollows dug by the water or in the upper part where the stream flows which then will become a waterfall. Not too hot water, clean and pleasant place. Free parking, nearby there is a bar kiosk with the bathroom
Picturesque and better than I remembered it ... a little less wild and cleaner. A praise goes also to the people and they are many that every day lofrequentano and hold it so.
Magical place. You don't make a reason for how nature has acted perfectly. The public waterfalls are always full of people, I thought the June period but in reality they told me that it's always like this. Perhaps within the week one manages to have a little more calm. A recommendation: if you go in the summer bring rock climbing shoes, protective cream, get yourself a parasol that is difficult to plant but try it and a chair or deck chair. If, on the other hand, you are more adaptable, a towel is fine, but bring the rest. There is a well stocked bar also with tables and the possibility of a quick lunch. Paid showers and I saw her can rent umbrellas and I think even sunbeds. Take off all the bracelets, necklaces and earrings because it becomes all black in the water. Enjoy the properties of sulfur water, it is good for the skin, the respiratory tract and circulation. Parking is great you should have no problems.
gladly share my experience .. I have stolen his slippers.
Thanos, when he wanted to halve mankind was right .. Continue below ..
The thermal baths of Saturnia certainly are beautiful to visit .. From very far
Seriously .. Lovely natural place but to go back in winter or towards evening, sunset.
The accumulation of people who break rude and makes me nervous and it seems to be the public swimming pool, do not tell the quarrel in the parking lot ... I fortunately I was with a friend in motion and we saved .. A jungle.
Then can I tell you something? I really don't understand what's so cool about it in a place like this that seems to be on the metro in Milan during the peak time.
Natural open-air spas, a true wonder. They are obviously very popular. There is a small kiosk and a large parking lot nearby. Incredibly, it's all free. If you are in the vicinity it is absolutely worth it, it is an unforgettable experience
Beautiful spa with free admission with ample free parking. The waterfalls form many pools of warm thermal water. The place is very beautiful and you can relax until sunset.
Wonderful natural thermae, perfect for a relaxing day (preferably in winter, autumn). A bar with local food is provide at the main entrance. Quite busy during the weekend.
Obviously there are a lot of people but it's worth a try. Avoid the hottest hours. The shade is very little and the hot water of the spa does not provide cooling
Spectacular place, a real jewel of nature, recommended to visit once the summer is over as there are few people and the hot water is pleasant if it is not 40 degrees outside.
Busy but beautiful. We'll worth a visit. Take a swimsuit and some flip-flops plus a dressing gown or big towel. Locals walk down to the spot in their dressing gowns and change near their cars. Busy car park and a small food place (cheap snacks, nothing fresh or fancy). There's also a loo, and shower (both at a small cost).
