Beautiful place too crowded. A paltry entry fee would perhaps avoid degradation ...

Belle? Absolutely yes. Too bad the invasion of tourists now that makes the place quite unlivable. And especially now with the covid I was baffled by the lack of attention to distances or the mask. Go there in the low season or at least during the week

To be free it is a beautiful place, even free parking

We came in mid-November on a sunny day and parking lot was full yet it didn t feel too busy. I can imagine a zoo during summer time though. We enjoyed it very much. Btw, water is not aqua blue. Camera filter does that. Water is somewhat of a brownish color and it is definitely muddy brown down below when it becomes a small river.

No need for water shoes as so many recommend because small pebbles in the water are already smoothed by water. In fact, it is very slimy and slippery, can be dangerous to walk, but I doubt water shoes are going to help with that.

We also enjoyed the adjacent cafe with 1.50 wine and crostinis with tomatoes (like hot bruschetta) were very tasty. It overlooks the cascade yet in the shade under a roof. They played great 80s songs too.
Our drive from Perugia was gorgeous all the way too.

The mill waterfalls, located 3 km before Saturnia, or saturnia terme, with ample parking and a restaurant, the thermal waters that arise from the nearby spring create a beautiful spectacle.
The site is free for this summer and winter is always full.
Saturnia is a small well-kept village, following the paths you can get to the falls who want to go trekking.
Very recommended for a weekend.

departed with enthusiasm from the Veneto region to visit this place and its surroundings, was disappointed because it was very different from the photos, almost impossible to park, full of people, clothes, shoes, unacknowledged backpacks everywhere, dogs inside the tubs that became "spas", I understand that is all free and I don't know if it is managed by someone, I would recommend a paid entrance and that it is managed more cleanly and decently

We went to the mill waterfalls at 6 in the morning to avoid the hot hours the water was beautiful. We had a fantastic morning. Experience to be repeated.

Beautiful are the thermal baths of the mill, a relaxing day the hours I recommend are early in the morning and in the evening in the middle it becomes chaotic and not very relaxing.

These spas are truly suggestive to visit, a true place of relaxation. The waters of the thermal baths are sulphurous and rich in beneficial natural elements, they have a temperature of 37.5 on hot days but could be a bit annoying. Spectacular What's nice is that parking is free and close by

Great !!! Just great !
Lie in the warm water, climb around in the cascades or rub yourself in with the mineral-rich mud. Let the mud dry on your body and then rub it in the water, after which the skin is totally soft! And the minerals are good for the bones, and warm water relaxes the muscles.
All in all, wonderfully beneficial

Absolutely Unique to try at least once in a lifetime ..

But what a show .... all free and wonderful.
There are two areas ... one at the top with a pond and the other at the bottom with waterfalls and pools ... the only thing ... bring your shoes closed by the sea ...
Insects at will but it's natural ... it's open countryside.

A spectacular spot for nature lovers who also like a free spa treatment. Traffic lights by the car park entrance is a greaf amenity in managing incoming and outgoing cars.

Beautiful and characteristic place. imagine bathing in natural pools with hot water from natural waterfalls. Wonderful landscape.

A wonderful place to say the least !! The water is at a very pleasant temperature and has the classic smell of sulfur. Access is free and unfortunately there are a lot of people. I didn't give full marks because UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE MANY INCIVENT PEOPLE WHO LEAVE EVERYTHING ON THE GROUND ... PAPER, PLASTIC, HANDKERCHIEFS AND PURE EXCREMENT. It is a great shame because it is a place that deserves to be preserved well.

Very beautifull! Coming back each time is a new experience! Everything is accompanied by ample parking, well-stocked food and showers, really all very nice.

Beautiful place. Is it really worth it, even in winter.
You have to equip yourself well with slippers, towels and bathrobes because as soon as you go out you freeze, but while you're there it's fantastic.
Too bad for the poor evening lighting.

Cascate del Mulino ... a pleasant setting in the Tuscan Maremma! Show offered by nature .. thermal water with cascades on small pools .. a stop not to be skipped even just to enjoy this suggestive Tuscan landscape!

Stunning!!! Geothermal springs are highly recommended. The hotel is a bit expensive and it is better to stay in Lade hotels

Magnificent! One of nature's most beautiful stunning and perfect bounties.. it's truly a natural gracious paradise where one can permit themselves to relax in such a beautiful atmosphere and natural full well being environment .. it's natural beauty permiates at every moment and especially after relax, become and feel at complete ease with moving through its natural flowing pools and smooth pools, .. as we had made our way through all the pools in the lower to upper levels, and arrived to the fullest strong flowing waterfall at the top, our breath was taken away while admiring and enjoying fully the waterfall flow and rush with such vigor and liveliness that we were overfilled with happiness and had so much fun.. individually and with other people who were obviously relaxed and enjoying themselves within this atmosphere and were the kindest kindred of souls.
The water temperature we found, felt was fresh and not hot thankfully and were refreshed even on a hot and full sunny day.

There is little shade provided by trees.. k would highly recommend bringing a few poles and pitching a tent.. or even an easy portable for some shade and refuge . For a nicest nap

Hidden among the hills and little publicized it is a lovely place to be in contact with nature. Pleasant thermal water even in summer and windy ... Relaxing day !!! Equipped with free parking and a kiosk where you can eat with lots of tables in the shade. On Sundays it is chaotic and stressful for too many people but between week there is always parking and a table to sit on. It is a place for those who love being in contact with nature ... Carrying around sea shoes means turning all the waterfalls without ever slipping ... Great

Natural hot springs, and no charge....great experience. Don't go during holiday season.

The spas are fantastic, I can't say the same thing about the managers of the only refreshment point there is. Disorganization, dirt, lots of dirt especially in the bathrooms.

We had already been a few years ago to the falls of the mill, but we wanted to go back .... the place is magical and all in all (to be open to the public) kept very well. To try

You need to be there really early if you want to get the peace and quiet vibe (and a parking spot)

It's an interesting and pretty place, but try to avoid crowds by going early in the morning, late in the evening and off season. The amount of people there was rather off putting...

A lovely place in Italy and definitely not a miss. It is a natural hot spring, still in its natural form not disturbed by modernization

Beautiful hotspring. We rented a car from Rome and drove here for the day. We brought food for a picnic but there is a small restaurant nearby with decently priced food.

Worth a stop without doubt. Free parking as well as the thermal baths of the mill waterfalls. Possibility both to drink and snack at the bar adjacent to the site and to wash at the end (1 euro token). It is better to be equipped with non-slip shoes. Playing in hot sulphurous water is a lust you should not miss. There's a lot of topa, so it's good for the eyes too ... not just for the spirit.

Very impressive place since the waterfalls are located in the hills and therefore offers a breathtaking view ... the water is therapeutic for both the skin and other body organs ... there is also a bar that sells food and costumes for those who have not brought one ... I recommend everyone to go there ...

Symbolic place of Saturnia.
If you pass by those parts they are a stage to consider.
The water gushes hot from a volcanic spring.
The spectacle that presents itself upon arriving is unbelievable.
Immersing yourself in the various pools or positioning yourself under the waterfalls you feel great well-being.
There is also the possibility of pitching a tent in one of the surrounding lawns.
I recommend arriving very early. In the central hours it is full of people.
I also recommend rock shoes.

Magical place. Natural spas in the middle of the Tuscan countryside, where you can relax and rejuvenate! It's all free, so it can also be visited at night.

Beautiful place. The place should be more cared for, in some corner it is dirty, obviously due to the incivility of the people

Visitors should note that the facility is NOT inside the golf club/Saturnia spa resort and has its own parking lot.

The thermal baths are an amazing experience that I've not had elsewhere. It's rare to have access to a naturally formed hot spring which won't kill you (like yellowstone). We went around Christmas and it was busy but not overcrowded, in the summer this may be different. There is a small restaurant and pizza vending machine near the entrance but they weren't open since it was low season.

Simply wonderful place, ample free parking, equipped area with bathrooms and showers, as well as refreshment point.

"wellness center" in the midst of nature: worth a visit at least once in your life! Next to it there is a small well-stocked restaurant. For an "easy" thermal bath

A natural thermal bath in a very beautiful location. Well attended with the necessary distance.

This is beautiful! Please be aware though that the current higher up is quite strong and I cut my foot pretty badly.
The nearest pharmacy is in Saturnia but is closed between 1 and 4:30

Dirty, there are no public toilets not even chemical ones, I found a lot of decay. It doesn't take much to better manage such a natural resource.

Fantastic, highly recommended. There always seems to be a lot of people but there is room for everyone at last. Bring sea shoes or slippers because otherwise you won't walk. The dry water The hair, I recommend an oil or a cream (to me they were all ruffled ) It is VERY TOO Sunny, the few places in the shade are taken immediately, so I recommend a good sunscreen or hats etc. I was scorched all over

Enchanting natural place, I recommend however to go to a different season from the summer one where the turnout will certainly be reduced and therefore there is the possibility of being able to enjoy the waterfalls to the fullest (moreover, the water is very hot so more pleasant with outside temperatures lower)

Beautiful place. The waterfalls with its pools and hot water. Our furry can also enter, respecting the basic rules. It would be a real paradise if it were not so crowded, if I can give advice especially during the summer to go in the late afternoon.

Not a fan because of those red worms. Personally, that just freaked me out too much.

Absolutely spectacular. Apart from the fact that it is free, it is a real natural gem to preserve and keep well. Even at night it is open, with a parking lot always free and a bar at the entrance that also has useful services.

Nice, free but crowded . We were there on Mondays and it was bussysteem. It must be Full on weekends. A lot of litter as well.

I have to admit that years ago I did not like this place, instead we went back 20 to 25 July 2019 I changed my mind, have improved the way there, the waterfalls I found them clean and free of worms and horseflies and we were pleasantly well in water , even for three hours without hassle, so I can honestly say that the place deserves positive feedback, I don't put 5 stars because it could be a little more cured

Highly recommend it. Go in the off season though when it's less busy and not so hot out.
