If you have a mountain bike don t bring it here. They don t know what they are doing. Very nice people but they messed up my Trek downhill bike. They are not familiar with them and they will make things worse. If you have simple bikes with simple issues then they can handle that.

Service received was top drawer. Intelligent recommendations and the folk I dealt with were friendly as well. As a new cyclist it s all a blur, with things you might require/need, so thoughtful advice is always gratefully received. I can t think of any reason why I would go elsewhere in the future.

So spokes. Not that important right - but if you don't have them and need them to build a set of wheels then you need a few. And getting them in Covid time is nigh on impossible. I'd tried 3 different bike shops to buy DT Swiss spokes - something that they just didn't seem to be able to do - not calling me back, said they'd placed an order, and never getting the actual product. So I saw that Cycle Trading Co had them online - not only did their website work flawlessly to place the order, 24 hours I had the product in my hands. Honestly - after the bad experience of expert 'bike shops' give these guys a go - you will not be disappointed.

Awesome bike shop and your one stop shop for any bike or even HPV, probably the only bike shop that is capable of servicing a Penny farthing, with several in store most times. Keith is a local legend in the industry, and has one of the largest private bicycle collection that goes back to steel tired bikes and high wheel tricycles, and features local gems including a bike said to have been owned by Kate Shepard and the high wheel trike used by a local lamp lighter in the days before cars and electricity. other bikes of every description can be serviced here, and is the best option for Unicycles with up to 36 inch supplied. shimano qualified mechanic and highest quality parts used, and almost anything is an option. Go see Keith for your next bike or repair, once you've been there you'll be back for more.

Took my bike in on the off chance they would have old brake pads for my bike. They didn't but the staff member was great and genuinely interested in helping me. He slighty modified a newer pad and fitted it to my bike for just the cost of parts. Also adjusted brakes and lubed things up! Excellent service and felt like a real human interaction which is rare these days! Shot bro!

After the sameness of all the chain shops (no pun intended) I found Cycle Trading Co extremely helpful: its an old fashioned, take your time, nothings too much trouble place, with very, very experienced staff. If you want to develop a real relationship with your bike shop, this is the place to go.

I bought a commuter bike four months ago from CTC and they were very helpful at the time during that process. I just took it in for a tune-up today, and it looks and feels brand new. Someone there did such a thorough job. Thanks, CTC, for the care you put into your work on peoples' bikes!

Great repair service ! Very friendly. Very experienced. Did the work very quickly, and very reasonable price. A pleasure to deal with all round ! No hesitation in highly recommending Cycle Trading. (I had tried 4 other shops and they either didn't have the parts, or didn't have the time, or were not keen on the job )

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Found out my Chopper style bike is around 30 years old! There was a problem with my freewheel but as it's so old would be almost impossible to find a replacement so they cleaned everything, gave me a cheaper price and promised if the problem got worse they would attempt fixing it for free.

I really appreciate the service I received at Cycle Trading Co. The team took time to help me make my decision, and were incredibly helpful making adjustments on the bike at no extra charge, so that it was just right for me. The shop has a large in-store selection, many of the bikes are quite unique compared to other traders. You can ride the bikes around a little to get a feel for them first which really helps in the decision process.
