The first floor is about the recent Russian conflict, and the second floor is a little slightly shabby in the main firearms (state like excavated) at the time of the Great Patriotic War. A rectangular enclosed space on the map northwest should be at the outdoor exhibition grounds of weapons and that should come. Put it in the cockpit of Mig 23 and Li - 2 beyond the fence at each 10 UAH.

A nice museum showing historical facts but a bit small

The museum is excellent, a lot of interesting technology. But 25 or 30 UAH for 1 photo, this is a bust, moreover, and even the entrance is paid, they cut money out of the blue. Of course the museum is worth a visit, but immediately prepare 250 hryvnias if you want to take photos + for the entrance again.

Interesting and impressive museum although not much information is available in the English language. Therefore booking a guide might be worth it.

The museum is good, but not for walking with children. A large area in which it is very difficult to find a toilet in which there are no conditions for changing a diaper and a stroller there will not pass ...

The museum has got some renovations and looks a bit better than before. Some people say you can enter the head of the Mother Motherland monument and from there you can see amazing views of Kyiv, but I never have been there. Need to try it ones.

Lots of interesting artifacts from World War 2, or the Great Patriotic War as it is called in the former Sovjet countries, and an exhibit about the current (2017) conflict in the east.

If you don't speak Russian or Ukrainian, get the audio guide. While there are introductions, in English, in every room it feels like you are missing a lot of information without the guide.

Entrance 20 UAH. For 30 hryvnia you can take pictures. Nice museum. Particular attention can be paid to photographs and dates by medals. There are no flags in the complex; RAO did not find them. And the death toll is really very low.

This is a part of the Ukrainian history, can't do anything about it, just to accept. Not good (a lot of greaf), not bad (protect your family and your country).

I took tickets with a guide, it s just a wonderful museum, very interesting, there are free souvenirs that you can take directly on excursions, there is a buffet, it has a lot of beautiful souvenirs, from cheap to very expensive, for example, a souvenir in the form of Ukraine decorated with gold and different others, such a souvenir was ~ 30,000 UAH, but the museum is very good. :)

It was one of the most marvelous museums I have ever seen which located beneath the glorious Motherland Monument. The entrance is 60 UAH's for adults. From the Second World to the current Russian aggression taking place in the eastern Ukraine, there were numerous exhibitions. Also every artifact in display is authentic. In comparison with the other Ukranian museums, there are proper English information cards with substantial facts about the relevant event, war, era etc. It is a bit far from the downtown area but I think it costs around 100-150 UAH's (one way) by cab. One should not Kiev without seeing this place. You will have the full picture of the Ukranian independence and patriotism by the end of your visit.

You can see the military vehicles used in the second world war. A very nice open air banana. You can also see the icon made in memory of 50 million people lost in the second world war.

And the exposition about the Second World War was made fantastically. The feelings are different, but they have some very strong influence.

Eternal memory to the defenders! A good interesting museum and the children really like it - even if they let it be different))). Neither what was, not that now! After the visit, there is always a sense of pride in our friendly people, a feeling that you did something that you have forgotten for a long time and the pleasure of walking. Thank.
