If I could give more stars, I would. Everyone in their office and crew are friendly, responsive, timely, efficient and highly skilled. Prices are very competitive. They are honest, trustworthy and dependable. They have informed me of more cost effective options that I never would have considered. I've used them multiple times for a variety of jobs. They have added extra safety measures since COVID and always come to the job with masks. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly highly recommend.

Steve replaced the electrical panel in our triplex units and main building and apartment breakers. He also upgrades a few small issues to bring the complex back to code. No hard sell. Just fixed what was needed.

Steve Carter Electirc has been our go to electrician for many years. Our latest project was having them install a Quiet Cool whole house fan. We were given a fair price and had the work done. The guys that did the job were prompt, got the job done and cleaned up so there was no sign they had even been doing such a major job. The fan is great! Quiet as the name implies. It pulls the cooler outside air into our home once the temp outside drops which is perfect living iat the beach. We did not want to go with complete AC and I think this will be the perfect answer to those few hot weeks at the beach and save us alot on energy costs. We can run it on low all night long (only using 64Watts of energy) and start the day out with a nice cool home.

We've been wanting to put a ceiling fan and light in our den but no power in the ceiling and no attic space to work in. We were putting the work off as estimates ranged from $650 (we already had the fan) or "$59.00 to come out and tell you how much", or "..it depends, I won't know till I get there". Found Steve Carter Electric and called and left a message. I figured with C 19, it would be a while. I heard from Steve within an hour, sent him couple of photos and by the end of the day (actually faster than promised) I had an itemized estimate, which was almost a couple of hundred dollars below the lowest quote we had to date. Steve was polite and professional on the phone.
I accepted the quote by return email and soon Barbara, Steve's wife, called to see what would be a convenient time for an appointment. Again, very nice and pleasant to speak with. Unfortunately so rare anymore in the world of automatic operators and dialing extensions to speak to another machine.
Gary and Cory showed up and from the start I knew we were in good hands. They were clean (wore masks for C19 protection), knew what they were doing and explain everything that needed to be done. They chose an option that minimized the areas where wall and ceiling had to be opened up, even though that option was most time consuming. The job was done perfectly and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Left saying that someone from the office would contact us about payment. I really value that old fashion trust and relationship builder. Like living in a small town again. Barbara called a bit later and we settled up over the phone. My wife and I were so pleased we asked for an estimate on another electrical project on our outside deck. We had the numbers back in couple of hours and will have it done in the near future. I would not go anywhere else for all my electrical needs. They also do outdoor landscaping lighting, I have a feeling we will be seeing them again and again before the summer.

The work performed was an upgrade of a 15 AMP circuit to a dedicated 20 AMP circuit for a home sauna. They upgraded the electrical panel with a new 20 AMP breaker. They ran electrical wire thru the garage in rigid conduit, into and thru the attic, into our upstairs bonus room. They arrived on time. Did excellent work, and cleaned up before leaving. I would highly recommend Steve Carter Electric. I have used them several times.

The Scheduling of the Quiet Cool venting system through Carter Electric was ordered, installed and performed very timely and conveniently for the upcoming summer months. Install was about an hour. It's quiet, it looks very nice in my upstairs hallway including the on/off switch. I'm very satisfied.
I needed an extra electrical outlet for a new appliance I purchased. After calling several other online electricians, I realized none of them were really in business ...they were simply booking agents for unknown tradesmen. There was no way to know who would come or how qualified they were. This is the third time we've used Steve Carter Electric! Despite a few hiccups along the way they were able to get the job done in a timely manner. When we realized that the line for our swimspa was not in the right location, Steve made it a point to come out on the weekend to get it moved so that our project wouldn't be delayed. We give these guys our highest recommendation and will never use anyone else when it comes to electrical in our home.
Bob and his assistant did a great job. He listened to my hair brain ideas and we both came up with a solution. Most other electricians would say "It can't be done." They are doing it.

Wow! We are so happy with the work Steve Carter has done for us. Our team today was Johnny, Ken and Bob. We needed two ceiling fans installed (where none previously existed). They did a great job! I love my ceiling fans! We also had two LED recessed lights added to my very dark laundry room. What an improvement! An additional job they completed for us is the outdoor fountain timer. It has not worked since we moved in a few months ago and originally installed not to code, with exposed wires and such. They fixed it in no time. It's so nice to hear the fountain! If you want the job done right, we highly recommend Steve Carter Electric!
