I have been working at Telecontact for the last 5 years, and I can actually say that it's been my longest job I've ever had. There are reasons for that as well. The people that work here, just make your days go by faster. I mean, you do spend more time with your coworkers more than your family. Also, they are a very understanding company that do like to work with their employees. The management team are the greatest. Yes, they have a lot of work to do but they still stop what they're doing to make sure the agents needs and questions are met. Julie is an amazing Owner, and June the Vice President is the sweetest lady as well. Our floor managers are always making sure the floor does stay motivated and happy too. Long story short, this is not as bad as a job as anyone would think. There are days where you feel like quitting, but I did not think I would be here five years later...oh and mind you, I did quit and come back a couple weeks later that's how much I missed this place! lol. I suggest anyone trying this job, I had no experience and now I'm still here five years later.
I worked for TRS for almost 4 years to the day (just one day shy). The only reason I left the company is because I am relocating out of state. This company is by far the best company. The entire management staff is so understanding and helping. As long as you put forth the effort and genuinely have a good attitude, you will go far. They will help you in any way they can. Not just with the company but they will help accommodate you to help with home life. This job is not for everyone and they understand that. One of the best things about the company is they promote within before even thinking of posting a job. They have so many opportunities. Any time I see someone filling out a job application, I let them know about TRS. I am definitely going to miss going to work here every day.
Ashley Gonzales is the best at Telecontact. This company does their best to give great leads. Ashley always makes sure that the lead is sold before she sends them to us. We have been working with Telecontact for several years now but it was Ashley who made the difference for us and we decided to continue to work with them.
Im glad to have had the opportunity to work here. I'm sad I had to leave but it wasn't because of management or the employees honestly. I was not happy with how the accounts are managed. I'm not the only employee that felt that way. It just seems like certain employees are given the easy accounts that are easy to get leads on. I think it would have been better to maybe change it up each week and give every agent a shot to get leads on the easier accounts. But it seemed like I'd get an account and get leads and then never get the account again. But then you get written up for not getting leads. I definitely think making sure the account managing between teams could be different. The pay is low as it is. So when your leads are your bonus and you're only given hard accounts with no leads, especially insurance ones that we all know are very very hard to get leads on especially this time of year, it gets frustrating. It's one thing when certain agents are assigned to the account, but if the account isn't agent specific, you guys probably wouldn't have such a high turnaround rate if this changed. I was talking to a few people who felt the same way. But because they can't afford to leave they deal with it. But other than that this place is cool. Management is very understanding and cool. Employees are pretty nice to one another. Had the pay not been so low and the bonuses so hard to get I wouldn't have left. But I have kids to feed. Hard to do on 11 an hour. But I appreciate the opportunity to have worked here. I definitely learned a lot and Tab is a great trainer!
By far the best company I have worked for. They are very understanding and accommodating. Some people will give my job a bad review due to thinking They are aboge everyone and must "humble" themselves to work here. Us trainers were given our titles for a reason and unfortunately we come across some not so pleasant employees who feel they are better than everyone and feel they deserve the world when they put in the bare minimum. This job iant the easiest but it is the most rewarding once you put forth the effort and try. The management are amazing people and So are the sales agents.

As a newer company it was a struggle to wisely spend our marketing budget. We tried quite a few avenues that had little to no ROI. We decided to give Telecontact a try, we got immediate great responses. Our ROI is extremely high and our sales guys have never had more appointments. Choosing to invest our marketing budget with Telecontact the last few years has been one of the best decisions our business ever made. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is trying to dramatically grow their business and get in front of more customers. TeleContact really is a special place to not only work as an employee, but to work WITH as a client. Over the 25 years we've been in business, Julie and her marketing and management staff have found so many ways to go above and beyond their client's needs, that I would never even consider spending my own marketing dollars anywhere else. TeleContact is a lot more focused on RETAINING their clients, than bringing on new clients, as our current clients will always take precedent over all else. This company also promotes from within.
Due to family health problems, as well as receiving an opportunity to work from home, I had to put in my two weeks notice this week, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. June, Julie's GM, and Kelvin, our Sales Manager, are so understanding and receptive, and they really do DEFINE "open door policy". The environment here is so positive. If you're looking for a great opportunity. If you need a boost in confidence, or you're trying to hone-in on your communication skills, this place really builds-up their employees, and prepares them for future endeavors.
I would not be where I am today without TeleContact, and the opportunities they've provided for me. I will always have a special place in my heart for this company, and I would return in an INSTANT if circumstances were to dictate.
