This place is extremely terrible to work with! Once you get recruited they provide you with little information about the job. I was provided a contract for a company, once the contract was given they informed me of a policy change. I worked for this contracted company before and was never informed about the new change in policy until a couple weeks after the position. I was opposed to the new policy change and let my recruiter know. The recruiter then sends me a text message saying that "you're the one out of a job and could have made over 20k".
Not only that, my recruiter made me call two other potential clients for the same project and wanted me to provide them with a job description and interview tips or questions that they might ask. Since I've worked with this company once before, I asked for a pay increase for the project and they gave it to me. However, Teksystems recruiter tells me that if any other employee finds out about the pay increase that my pay will decrease back down to $16(base pay for the project). That is my experience with Teksystems. Because of this, I will never recommend any of my family or friends to work with Teksystems.

Awful company. They keep calling and emailing me after I've asked them numerous times not to. They seem to have a huge turnover, so even if one person stops, the next person will start up again. I'm going to see if I can file a complaint with the BBB.

I enjoyed working with this company and would recommend it for engineers. The recruiter I worked with was knowledgeable, personable, honest, and extremely professional. Care was taken to find the right position rather than fake my resume or "hack" me into something to make a sale. My account manager was smart, energetic, professional and constantly checked in to see how things were going. Overall everyone I dealt with here was professional and friendly, and the company I worked with had respect for TEKsystems in general. If you are looking for a temporary position or a gateway into one of the big companies they work with, they are 100% worth at least meeting with them once to discuss it.

I have worked in IT for various staffing agencies, TekSystems is by far the worst staffing agencies I have ever worked for. They only care about themselves and their client (which is understandable), but to end an assignment, they will call you up and tell you to never go back to the client ever again, it's very cold. No staffing agencies have ever done this to me except TekSystems. At first I thought it was my fault but again, only TekSystems does this.

In addition their cut of your pay is the highest out of every staffing agency, they have left me with the worst staffing agency impression out of the 6 staffing agencies I have worked for in the past 5-6 years.

Work for them if you must but they have left me and my friends with a very negative and sneaky impression over the last few years (don't pay out referral bonus, cut-throat job elimination methods, fishing for job leads by asking where you've been interviewing)

Phillip is a good salesman, he promises the world. However, once you leave, you will never hear from him again. And he does probe you for information about other companies you have interviewed with.

Called 7 different numbers to obtain information on their services for hire and no one ever picked up the phone. Considering I'm staffing 15 IT people, you'd think that missed opportunity like this would make them think twice about answering their phones.

From the very first moment I met a Teksystems rep until now, I have always been highly impressed with them. Unlike other agencies I've experienced, TEK treats you like a human being who is worth more than just their bottom line. They always work hard to do what's best for me. They ensure that any issues or questions are resolved immediately. They even take me to lunch just to catch up and make sure I feel taken care of. I would highly recommend working with them!

I have had such a positive experience with TekSystems. Chase (my recruiter) totally gets that this business is about relationships, not numbers. He got me more interviews than any other agency and he didn't give up on me when I made a huge faux pas at a Nike interview (mentioning my lack of interest in sports in the interview, which the interviewer complained about). I am paid weekly (which is AWESOME) and I am not forgotten after the contract starts. I am very happy with Tek and Chase and hope to work with them on future projects.

I dealt with them for about 6 months. First contact with Michelle McGettigan, who according to her linkedin profile, still works there. Met her once, she seemed alright, then constantly dropped the ball. I asked her about a job she interviewed me for, she told me it was on hold, then I never heard back from her again, despite numerous sending numerous messages.

I finally gave up on her when I realized she basically doesn't do her job. Next I was contacted by Anthony Drill, who replied to one email, then I didn't hear back on the next 3. When he finally replied, he was he was out of office a few extra days (no auto responder??).

My experience with this branch was horrible. I was only trying to get a job and each person I dealt with just didn't seem to care or make any effort. The final was from another person, whose name I forget, and I told him to delete my resume, I will never deal with this branch again.

How hard is it to reply to an email or call? I don't care how busy you are. It takes 30 seconds to reply and at least let me know you have no information but have not forgotten about me.

At my current job, if I don't reply within 1 day, my manager is asking why.

They are constantly emailing me on LinkedIn about how they'd 'love to meet me.' I responded and their excuse for not answering was 'this is not my LinkedIn account. It belongs to (insert other person who works there here).' Finally got ahold of someone and where is the recruiter located? Out of the country. Why would I want to work with a recruiter out of the US when i literally live down the street and can go into their office? No response when I tried to call their office or email them.
Super unprofessional. Stay away!

The worst recruiting company I ever worked with. Clark Melilio was a back stabbing two faced over paid shoe salesman who sold me out after they used me to get them in with a big phone company to do work in engineering which they had never done before. Avoid this company at all costs. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. I hope that their vendors see my post and read how horrible they treat people.

One misstep after another. For an agency that absorbs nearly 50% of the hourly rate, they provided little else beside delays. Right up until the end of my contract they couldn't even send email to the correct address.

Won't work for them again. Recruiters and account managers actively work against you and do not shy away from 50% and higher commissions for themselves while manufacturing a secondary market for IT workers. I was told, repeatedly, that commission rates for placement at regional apparel manufacturers are routinely %50+ for recruiters. Know what you are worth before you agree to anything and insist on knowing the rate your recruiter is billing the customer. 5-20% is more realistic for 6-figure positions.
