Yeah, Guinness and Jameson are cool. But, no place really compares to this shining treasure! Teelings is the actual must visit tour in Dublin! Make sure to take back some of their products home as well. FYI - The Organic Cotton shirt is about the most comfortable thing on earth.

This is a working distillery, with a long history in the whiskey making industry. Our guide was very knowledgable...we even met the original owner Mr. Teeling. This was definitely a must do in Dublin!

We had our tour with Cormac.

Not amazing. Still a really good tour that should not be missed. Here's why...

The good:
- Their whiskey competes with anyone.
- Prices are decent.
- Tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Flat out, he was on point.
- I learned more about Irish history and how foreign factors impacted the irish whiskey industry.
- Tour goes into detail about the distillation process.
- The bar at the end of the tour (should you choose to linger) makes excellent cocktails. Try their Irish Coffee. One of the best I've had.

The bad:
The tour does not talk much (or at all) about:
- How the barrels are made. I know they use a lot of barrels from other spirits. Unsure if they actually make their own.
- How the charcoal is made (the lobby is made from wood piles that are stacked in such a way for charcoal to be made). I'm guessing they don't have to filter since they triple distill. Something I should have asked.
- They age the barrels off site in the country side to ensure a potential fire does not burn down Dublin. The black growth you'd typically see at a whiskey distillery from the evaporation process adds a ton of charm that you will not see here.

I know the title may be misleading compared to the pros and cons. The bad, I feel, is half of the whiskey making process. Overall, it's still a great time and I'd spend the 30 (comes with 4 whiskey tastings) to do it again if I had the choice.

This place is really interesting. The guides embrace the history of whiskey making in Ireland as well as showing the actual production. Unfortunately production machinery was under maintenance the day we toured.

Afterwards you get a whiskey coctail to taste and a whiskey (11am was too early for me to drink whiskey!!)

Guaranteed unique experience going to this particular museum. First of all it is an actual working/operational distillery where you get to see the massive drums where the barley is germinated and the sugars come free. You WILL feel slightly light-headed after walking through this room, due to the alcohol content in the air, quite extraordinary sensation! The bar at the end is also a sight to behold, cozy and comfy. If they still serve the dark stout (Galway breweries) matured in whiskey barrels, get it! It's a high percentage stout, but I still remember it and cherish the moments I was able to sip this drink.

This tour and tasting is really good. A young and vibrant team show you around this recently opened working Distillery in the heart of Dublin. Well worth the visit and recommended highly by my wife and I.

Great distillery for an excellent Irish whisky. Love the taste of it and just everything about this whisky is good, moreover the fact that it is local makes it even better. Just go and have look at the place and try some. Not too far from st Patrick cathedral. Go on try it.

A top address for whiskey lovers. The tour of the factory was super interesting and the subsequent tasting was definitely worth it. Great store, great taste and nice staff. We will definitely go back.

Great tour! We did the single malt tour. It allowed us to try more whiskies which, when in Dublin... The tour was very informative and didn't have the tourist-trap vibe of others. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Dublin.

Absolute recommendation for Dublin! Small but fine distillery with super friendly staff and really delicious whiskey! The guided tour leads directly through the active distillery past the large vats with raw material and the active stills.
Special highlight then, of course, the tasting at the end of the tour.

Working distillery that you can actually go round. Our guide Nevan was very good & knowledgeable. The tasting is excellent. So much so that came back again for 2nd visit. More information & even better tasting.

Nice tour. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere, not too crowded. If you are already into whisk(e)y, go for the biggest package, the 2 extra whiskeys are worth the price (for real!!). Even if you are not into whiskey (yet), you will enjoy the tour and get something for your money.

This distillery should definitely be worth a visit, reopened in 2014/2015. Thus, you can visit an active distillery, and the tasting of the 22 Experience Tour is nice, because you can taste three different Telling Whiskeys, even if only the Sigle Malt something of the quality of a nice Scotch approaches. Currently the Telling Whiskeys are still brewing in the Cooling Distillery, it will be interesting as soon as you get the first Whiskeys brewed there.

This is the proper distillery tour in Dublin. Unlike Tullamore (not in Dublin) or Jameson, this is an actual working distillery and lets you walk through the facility. The tour is information packed and well run. I highly recommend it! (also, and most importantly, the whiskey is widely varied in style and flavor but all delicious)

Recommended visit if you have the Dublin pass. An extra 5 if you opt in on the Trinity tasting which I highly recommend.

The guides were good and the tour was done in a small group which made everything more intimate and enjoyable. The fact that this is in an active distillery made it feel more genuine.

If you are visiting Dublin and only have time or budget to visit one place, this should most definitely be your first choice! Our guide was a bearded geezer and soon-to-be distillers apprentice. Very through and was answering every question without hesitation. Whiskey was as Irish whiskey is best!

Great. Good whiskey.

Great. Good whiskey.

Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin, once a world whiskey distilling capital, in over 125 years. In fact, with the last of the original Dublin distilleries having closed in 1976, it is the first whiskey distillery to operate in Dublin, once home to at least 37 distilleries, in almost 40 years.

I've visited all the major Dublin tourist distillery attractions but Teeling is my favourite - I returned for a 2nd visit today with my whole family for Father's Day and everyone loved it. The whiskey can't be beaten, the tour experience is great and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Treat yourself to a cocktail or a limited edition whiskey in the bar at the end.

The visit of the distillery is interesting. The place is very new and modern so it is nice but not much feeling of tradition and history. I chose the Trinity tasting package. I was a bit disappointing with the whiskey itself, it just didn't suit my taste and didn't do anything special for me, but this is just my personal taste...

super

Fantastic guided tours around the fermentation vats and the Enormous copper stills named after the owner's daughters ! The tasting afterwards was a real education in how to appreciate fantastic liquid that has taken so long produce so lovingly. The visit to the bar for an Irish coffee and the gift shop to browse was the end of a fantastic couple of hours here.

A better distillery experience in Dublin. Have been twice, once alone and once with parents and enjoyed both times a lot. You get to see real production, compared to tourist reconstruction in other places, smell the whiskey wart being brewed, feel the heat of distillation - and taste one of the best Irish whiskeys available.

We had a great afternoon here on the distillery tour! Our guide Kathy was super entertaining and knowledgeable. The tasting at the end was excellent and we really enjoyed our seasonal Whiskey cocktail!

Great distillery experience, Gavin was our guide on the Single Malt Experience. Tour went over historical information about Ireland I had not learned through other experiences in Ireland. All five whiskeys we exceptional and anyone is bound to find one they'll like if you're a whiskey or whisky fan. John T. stopped to talk and say thanks for visiting. Thanks

You re going to the ice cream here! It s the MUST!

This ice cream from the cafe is superb!
Smooth ice cream that is not too heavy. Whiskey flavor, alcohol is a little.
Anyway, it's delicious enough to visit to get this ice cream.
However, since it is not on the menu, please ask at the cafe on the ground floor "Please whiskey ice cream". I personally wanted to combine this with whiskey!

Was total worth it and i only regret Not have taken the Large Tasting Sample with 3 or 4 Samples. Tourguide Was very friendly and able to answer all the questions. What you guys could improve : My Partner and I thought that the Video presentation in the Tour could have a bit More content ;)

In a place that combines history and modernity, we discovered the history of the Renaissance of a Dublin distillery. The visit is very interesting, ranging from distillation tanks to tasting the liquors produced.

Fun tour explaining the history of whiskEy in Ireland, tour guide kept us entertained and informed. We opted for the more expensive higher end tasting and got the black band. The whiskey was good but for the amount they give you wouldn't recommend it. The high end tasting at the other distillery in town was much more generous with the amount of whiskey which allowed us to sample it with and without water.

This whiskey is also not what was produced on site. It is from a prior business the owner had so don't expect anything here to be from the equipment in the tour.

Overall its a fun experience. Get the base tour. And the cafe has pretty decent food.

You must have Conor as a tour guide! He is amazing! Very knowledgeable about Teeling Distillery! Great personality and answered all my questions! Beautiful facility here, you can take photos of the ins and outs of the distillery! 100% would recommend! 10/10 would come back! Thanks Conor! You are way better than Gavin

The Teeling Whiskey Distillery tour was a fantastic event to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour guide Connor (Conner?), who was witty, knowledgeable, and gave an enjoyable tour through the distillery. After the tour I'd recommend doing the four whiskey tastings, because the young lady who was in charge of that was also extremely knowledgeable and made the tasting enjoyable. The gift shop had reasonable prices and helpful staff

Great tour with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. The history of Irish whiskey was interesting to learn. We stayed for a few drinks at the bar after our tour and really enjoyed chatting with the bartender, who had great recommendations for other things to do in Dublin. The Irish coffee was the best!

Very recent whiskey distillery (opened only in 2015) the only distillery in use in the city of Dublin. The girl who acted as a very nice and enthusiastic guide for her job! Interesting visit to discover the secrets of whiskey (even for non-enthusiasts)

Although the tour did not participate, you can drink distillery only at the bar on the second floor. On the other hand, the cafe on the first floor has a relaxed atmosphere, and the clerk is friendly. The ice cream is superb, but it's not really written on the menu, so you should point to the yellow label on the refrigerator at the back of the cash register and ask for ice cream. A good place to visit and take a break.

Not quite as spectacular as the tasting at Jameson, but really interesting. At the tasting there was a delicious cocktail die for those who don't like pure whiskey

Very nice distillery directly in Dublin. The guide was very informative and you got a good impression about the production. Definitely book the package for Euro 22,00 - the whiskey tastes very good. Ideal contrast after the Guinness visit.
