Remodeled! . . . Modern & Clean. Warning in the double-queen rooms there's only 1 desk chair (no other side chair to sit in).
Restaurant also clean and bright. My food selection (Cobb salad) was very fresh.
Pool located in nice atrium
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Overall positive experience.

We woke at 9am to find the shower, sink taps and toilet water disconnected and were advised by the front desk that we should have been notified prior that maintenance was being carried out. We were not informed and were offered a bottle water so that we could brush our teeth. We returned to our room that evening at 8pm to find still no water service. We again asked the front desk to explain why there was no water and if it was specifically an issue with our room. Our queries were dismissed and we were offered no apology, explanation or good will offer (such as a different room or restaurant voucher since we didn t feel particularly fresh to venture out for a nice dinner). At 11.15pm the water service was back on but only cold water. At 3am I gave up on a warm shower and went to bed. Flew out early the next morning having not showered since two days prior. If you enjoy holidaying without basic amenities, save yourself Holiday Inn fees and just camp in the woods!

One of the worst hotels ive ever stayed at. Nothing works none of the vending machines take cash they dont accept cash at the gift shop. Some of the most lazy and rude staff ive ever met. The front desk people are never 21st the front desk and never answer the phone. The house keepers stole from me and when i asked if they had a shuttle they lied to me and said they didnt have one. Top 5 worst hotels ive been to easily. I wish there was a zero stars option.

I was very upset with the pricing of this hotel. They didn't offer breakfast however if you paid $10.00 a person you could eat at their restaurant downstairs. The beds were soft and there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I was not impressed.

Our room was decent. Our view was phenomenal, even from the fourth floor. You won't find a nicer staff. Breakfast will cost you about 8$. 12 for the continental buffet. I found its prime location to be quite helpful though. Fiesta is right across the street, as well as a plethora of different restaurants and fast food too. It's also walking distance to nrg and the Astrodome. They have a pool, a hot tub, a bar, and a little reading and eating area too. The beds were firm and the linen were clean. You can't ask for more than that....unless you forgot your toothpaste or razors or something.

Been here twice. It is the closest hotel to the arena. IF management opens the gate so you can cut through a parking lot to the arena, then it's worth it. If not, you are definitely walking along side everyone else in the nearby hotels that might be cheaper. But I LOVE Holiday Inn bedding so I don't mind. The suite's are the BEST. Its nothing but suites for me for now on.

I like this Hotel. It is close to the Reliant Stadium. It helped me a lot when I was attending the OTC conference. Most of the delegates in OTC program liked to be in that place. It is almost in the heart of the city.

I was part of 20 member delegate stayed 3 nights .It's clean. But worst is their breakfast arrangements for 15 members they give us coupons for breakfast but 5 they said it wasn't part of contact .5 left when asked why they give for 2 days but declined for 3rd .Breakfast should be for every guest.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast down in the lobby was wonderful and consistently delicious, the wait staff was very friendly and tolerated our two young children with much care! Hotel room was clean, there is a single cup Keurig in the room, with k-cups, which makes waking up much easier. The only issues we had were that the door key cards were difficult to make work, and the I've machine on our floor was broken and we had to go to a different floor each time we needed ice. Great job Holiday inn, and thank you!

I started here because it's close to MD Anderson. Bad idea. Several rude front desk clerks. Horrible bus schedule. If you've got an appointment at MD Anderson, they don't care if you're late. The drivers won't go off the schedule. And there are absolutely NO ADA rooms. And the 1 shuttle they do have, is not an ADA shuttle. This hotel is NOT wheelchair friendly at all. No handicap buttons for any common access doors. If you're in a wheelchair, I would not recommend this hotel.

The only reason I'm giving this a 1-Star review is because the pool has a chair lift, and the restaurant/bar staff was great.

Hotel is very welcoming and beautiful and I'm love the area that it is located in. It is very clean and while some rooms might be a little small, they are still very comfortable. Everything went very smooth during the stay and most defiantly will be coming back. The staff were very respectful and polite and made me feel very welcomed.

Facility was fine. Staff could be more courteous. When I first arrived I went to the only person behind the desk to check in. She was on the phone so I waited. She did not even acknowledge me. When I finally told her I'm here to check in, she looked at me like I was bothering her, pointed me to the next station, and called for someone else to help me. The lady who ultimately helped me was fine, but the first lady probably shouldn't be working the front desk.

Nice hotel, very clean and great service. Little dissapointed that breakfast wasn't included. Coffee was available at $1.00. Shuttle service was great too. Loved my room. Helpful, friendly, and professional front desk as well.

The hotel is very average for the price. Service is average. Room is clean and beds are decent I did see that one of the other gusts had their car broke into in the middle of they day at 10 am. The hotel said they don't have any camera for their parking lot.

Older hotel that had been nicely remodeled. Nice bar and restaurant as well as outdoor pool area. My nicely decorated room overlooked NRG stadium so this would make a great choice if you were staying in the area to catch a football game.

Rooms were clean and as expected, food and service was good. Had some issues with our reservation (breakfast was thought to have been purchased when the reservation was made but we were told this was not the case upon arrival). Overall, I am happy with my experience.

This hotel is awful. The room keys had to be reprogrammed every day. The hot water never came on. Breakfast was terrible. The iron was very, very old and ruined my shirt. The room smelled like mold and was very damp. There was water pouring into the lobby from the ceiling. The one bright spot was the staff. They deserve to work in a better hotel.

MEDIOCRE! I've stayed here 5 or 6 times over the past 3 years. This place has great potential but falls short in so many ways. The atmosphere is slow and dull. I encourage the owner or the person responsible with IHG to do an "Undercover Boss" episode and straighten this place out.
