The guide was fabulous, sang different parts of the pieces and knew how to lead the group to fall in love with the place. The Theater is beautiful with an incredible history. It is well worth visiting.

A place where culture, art and beauty are appreciated from the start. Either from its structure to the scenographies, lights and costumes. The functions, beautiful and interesting. Excellent place without doubts !.

The Colon Theater is, without exaggeration, one of the most emblematic operas in the world. Anyone who doubts this statement can check it with a visit that, for those who are walking through Buenos Aires, is essential. It is possible to know the room by going on a guided tour. But it is also possible to buy tickets at a very low price to witness the shows standing. This is an economical way to get to know the place and enjoy a musical experience. The clothing required to enter has ceased to be the formal thing that was long ago. Avoid carrying bags or backpacks although there is room to leave them. Wow I do not know will regret it.

It is a super theater, very nice decoration, cleanliness is respectable, what I like most is its composition of two floors. Account for a very economical parking. Located near the highway and next to the Bingo de Avellaneda.

Nice lighting, ample space, simple organization. The negative is that if you are up, you do not see the stage very well, you would have to limit it to a certain capacity point, the views are not appreciated. And you do not end up seeing anything of the work or only 1/4 of the stage.

Everything is top notch when you go to Columbus. On the last visit I discovered a cafe on the first floor if I'm not mistaken, a little crowded, but it was understandable because we were in the interval of the concert we went to see. Everything looked tempting, and rich.

Who can doubt the qualities of this great lyric hall in the capital of Argentina. Renowned worldwide for its perfect acoustics, the Colon is an attraction that complements what the viewer will witness. The only negative part that I could mention is the modality of the commercialization of the locations, since there are sectors that are sold at the last moment that are not appropriate to enjoy a show, especially if it is prolonged.

Even if you are not a fan of opera, you can't avoid either getting a ticket for an event or doing the 45 min tour, either in English or Spanish. At the end, you will end up in the main hall. A majestic building.

Sres.palabra mayor see to believe is a place of dreams. He described it in this way and in 1950 he was getting to know all the corners with my brothers and it was nice to go to the basement and observe the workshops of clothes and dresses made by the seamstress. The carpentry that I can say the most was fantastic to go and see from the chicken coop. August and December I will be present again. I close with saying that I live 2 blocks of that pure history. Excellent place to visit. The place has its own and external guide, who for a modest sum of money, tell you its history, its holes and how it is used today. Thanks to the city government, there are dates in which they do free tours for tourists and anyone who wants to know it.

One of the most beautiful theaters in the world and can be affirmed by anyone who visits it, the guided tour is completely worth it, and it is also advisable to see a live show (for the latter, if you cannot pay the entrance fee, twice at month a free show is offered in the golden hall)

I liked that this time when someone was holding the cell phone a person points it with a laser to turn it off. In the Philharmonic, that does not happen. And it's annoying that people leave the cellphone in vibration :(
Otherwise the theater is beautiful.

If there were more stars I would put more. There are no words to describe the theater. Spectacular inside and out. Everything is as if they had built it yesterday. All very well organizing. The location is unbeatable. The shows are taken care of perfectly. A must in Buenos Aires.

Of the best of Latin America. On a getaway to Buenos Aires I got to know the Theater with a guided tour. If you like architecture, you are going to love it. If you like music or theater, you are going to love it too. And if you come in out of curiosity, believe me you're going to love it too. It has perfect acoustics. During the visit, they were by chance rehearsing a ballet work and we could appreciate it; both its acoustics and its eyesight. A magnificent restoration of the building was done.
In case you attend a play, the food is in cash. Although the price of the works is high, they have free shows every month for those who want to enjoy it 100%.

Wonderful, the guided tour is 1000 pesos, the guide is very well prepared and tells a lot about the history of the theater, it is very large and with many details in architecture. The main room is gigantic. Tours are in English or Spanish

Wonder. BUT if they charge to see it inside they warn that they are going to be testing lights and that we are going to be in the dark. A pity that they do not mind the experience of tourists not only from here but from the world that we could not really appreciate.
