Team Post-Op Review

Team Post Op is the best the customer service is above and beyond anything you can ask for. My person was Aaron for the NICE unit he would reply to text quickly and took calls and FaceTimed when needed. Aaron sent me another unit when I caused issue quickly so I wouldn t be without I love the NICE unit.I can t tell you how much having a kind voice when your in pain means.I would recommend Team Post Op to anyone needing any medical equipment you wont regret it they are outstanding with personal service.

I have not used their service yet and I'm done. First my dr ordered a nice machine for after my surgery. Two weeks ago they said that work comp insurance would not approve this. Then today they said the Dr never ordered it. The dr office says it was ordered. They say one thing then changed the story. Totally a waste of time.

After my surgery I required a CPM machine, not only they had the best state of the art chair to aid me with my treatment, but they delivered it and took the time to explained how to use it properly but they checked up on me via phone to make sure all was in order. Thanks Team Post-Op! You made my recovery all better!

Team Post-Op is the best! I had major knee surgery and my doctor suggested that I use both a nice ice machine and a CPM machine. Both aided in my recovery beyond my wildest dreams, as well as, the service reps who delivered, trained me and provided ongoing service when I needed it. If I called them with a question they responded immediately with a return call and when needed a tech came to my home within hours to insure my satisfaction with the medical machines provided. FYI...my doctors suggested that I would need 3 months to fully recover and today I am short 5 days of 2 months in my recovery and I am 95% there. This outstanding recovery is mostly due to my use of the machines provided by Team Post-Op.

Received a bill for $929 for my over the counter knee brace which is readily available from many websites for $100. This is the type of company that is the reason for all of the healthcare issues in this country! Even my custom made knee brace that is molded to my exact knee was billed to insurance as costing less than this!

Got in a severe auto accident and needed a boot on my fractured leg. A year later, I'm still getting billed almost $400 for it even though the case was settled months ago. Called the customer service line and the woman who handles billing is impossible to deal with. Beware.

They are obviously not to be blamed for any of this because their terms and conditions protect them, but here's my experience, hoping that it helps someone make the right decision in the future.

I had a shoulder arthroscopy and for $350 for 2 weeks this thing is a total robbery. It pulls your arm up and down in a continuous motion, which is achieved for no money if you throw a rope over a hook, pulley, etc and use the other arm to lift your operated arm. Moreover, you need more than just one direction in your physical therapy process, so I really suggest you invest in PT instead. The company gives you no explanations before you agree to buy the service, saying just that the doctor recommended it and it's needed for recovery. Maybe if you're totally immobile after your surgery, there are bigger benefits, but if you already have some range of motion, skip this racket. If you realize after a few days that you don't need the device, guess what, there's a 2-week minimum, so you can't return it before. A little hint as to who might need it is their recommended use per day: 3-5 hours! Again, seems to show that if you're immobile enough to stay home for 2 weeks after your surgery and the machine is the ONLY movement you do, might be worth it.

The machine has broken on me twice. The first time it started working again the next day. For the second time I called them, and I'm about to see if the instructions they gave over the phone are going to help or if I need a technician to come.

Hoping this will help someone else. Of the company cannot respond due to HIPPA laws....yeah whatever!
I went to a doctor about pain in my thumb joint and she was supposed to give me a shot of cortisone.
She decided, after her assistant had set up the syringe and equipment to give me the shot, that I should use a brace and get physical therapy and use some useless cream.
No one said a word about the brace costing anything. She asked me to sign a paper saying I received the brace. Now I know that the paper contained information that said I could be charged depending on my deductible. She never mentioned that.
I could not even use the brace as it pressed against the painful joint in my thumb.
I later received a bill for $175.
This doctor must be getting compensation from these people. I would never have taken that useless thing had I known I would have to pay for it...lesson learned. Very unethical on the part of these people and the doctor. Shame on that doctor who has sworn to help people. She cost me well over $300 and I'm still in pain. Greed has taken over.
What a bunch of criminals.

Team post op is great there game ready ice machine is awesome. There service is second to none I was having Makoplastey done on a Tuesday and they drove the machine to me 3 hours away on a Saturday just to make sure I had it for immediately following my surgery. I would highly recommend Team post op to anyone.

I d like to thank Steve for being response and understanding through my post operative journey. Since my surgery was complicated, it required more time than expected. He was always patient and caring, which makes a huge impact for patient satisfaction. Not only was he flexible with drop off & pick up, he was readily available if I had questions. Thank you for all you do Steve!
