The move was great. Couldn't ask for better people to work with from start to finish. Debbie was professional and friendly, giving us an accurate estimate and letting us know what to expect with the day of the move. The movers, Greg, Miklos and Vern were friendly, pleasant, helpful and very hard working. Couldn't have a better crew! Our last move with a different company did not go very well. This is the second time we used Taylor in our move and it is the second tie that the move team was actually quote awesome. The final bill was a pleasant surprised because the move team was much quicker than expected.
A move is always hectic and disruptive specially since I have already started work out of Canada. My husband found Taylor very professional and genuinely concern for our move. Staff are courteous and efficient. I would recommend Taylor to anyone who needs move specialist.
Everyone at Taylor Moving and Storage that I worked with were incredible. I had a very specific and very tight timeline to execute my move in and Taylor worked with me every step of the way. The team that met me in New Jersey to pack my home were professional and friendly and they were so accommodating when I wasn't completely ready for them. The three gentleman that moved did a fantastic job! They didn t waste a second brought down boxes with them as we were walking through our house tour, found ways to package loose ends, and if we forgot to tape a box, they d tape it for us. They handled our household items with care, we d definitely recommend them!

From the in home quote to the day of the move, my experience with Taylor movers was 10/10. I was happy with my quote, had a great deal of questions about the process answered, and received my emailed quote promptly with a clear breakdown of the services and charges. I was able to take advantage of the box program where I picked up boxes from Taylor and will return all boxes for a full refund and thus dont need to pay for any of my moving boxes when all is said and done. Finally, when moving day came, my movers were kind, professional and easy to work with. I felt confident with their work and they finished up in less time than originally anticipated. Used Taylor for a local move including a declutter move and storage for the showings as well as the overall move, including packing for the move. They did a good job and the staff involved in all the stages were professional and very personable. Move went well, was on schedule and was done very carefully. Great service at a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and took great care with our belongings. The job took longer than originally expected, but that price delta was eaten by Taylor. They stuck to their original pricing despite needing extra man hours to complete the job.

This company is the best of the best. Fast, efficient workers who really know what they are doing. Our shipment was wrapped to the max and everything arrived in the country of Panama from Canada with absolutely no damage whatsoever. They stored our furniture and household items in their warehouse until it was ready to ship. Their office staff kept us apprised of the whole move from beginning to end and arranged for delivery to our new house in Panama. These people deserve all of the kudos they receive and much more. Highly recommend Taylor Moving and Storage.
Not so happy with the fact that they "couldn't" get a twin size bed downstairs and the handymen could (without damaging anything) and it was too late cause the move had already been gone. So I'm left without that bed.

Wow, amazing guys who worked so well as a team and were so thoughtful and on-task for the packing up and unpacking of our home, to say they were professional is an understatement! They were easy to talk to, brainstormed about furniture placement in the new home (we had to downsize quite a bit to get to the new city) and were overall super helpful in every way. The team took my stress away completely and for that our family has been very grateful.
We had four young men arrive at our door on November 3rd to move our belongings to our new home in Burlington. I have never seen four men work so hard in my life. We were out of the old house and into the new by 4:00 in the afternoon. Nothing was too much for them Thank you for the excellent service we received from your company.
Our experience with Taylor Moving was excellent beginning with their rep, Jerry, who contacted us when our home was for sale. He called faithfully every month while we were going through the sales process. Debbie, their moving consultant, came to our home and gave us a very competitive estimate with no hidden surprises and was very pleasant to work with. In the time of Covid, sometimes it's a pretty big leap of faith to believe that people will do what they said they would do, especially when the job is so time sensitive. I made that leap with Taylor and I'm writing to say that I couldn't be more impressed with the service we have received from this company. We were making the move from California to Ontario and everything had to be done virtually and while I am confident in online services we had no room for changes because of flights to bring us home to Canada.
The packers and loaders were not only on time, they were early! They made me feel total confidence that my life, which is really what they were packing up, was going to arrive safely on the other end. Communication was totally respectful of both my person and my property and any time I had a question the responses were almost immediate. I would highly recommend that anyone use Taylor for their moves in the future.
I was dealing with these movers in the building I live in. They were extremely rude to me while I was walking through the entrance. I held the door for them at one point and they gave me a strange look. No manners. I saw them leave boxes in the hallway so I informed security. I overheard security telling them multiple times to not leave items in the hallway, but they did not care since they continued leaving items in the hallway. We have a blind person in the building and items are prohibited in the corridors at all times. The movers were informed of this but didn't care about the well being of a resident. This is completely unacceptable.
Then as I was leaving the building later on, I saw one of the workers sitting in front of the elevator. I waited about 20 minutes, then I confronted him about not sitting around since this hurts the integrity of the building and your company. He was very rude and confrontational telling me I did not have the right to tell him to move. I was making a suggestion for the betterment of him and his company and he practically bit off my head. This company obviously hires people that just don't care about anything. I'm a realtor and I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour in my life. I will be telling my friends and family of my experience with Taylor Moving and Storage. I have picture of the employee sitting there doing nothing, in case the company actually cares....

Taylor took care of an international move for me coming from Texas to Toronto and they were fantastic. The two movers (Matt and Dennis) were personable and professional and were really amazing at their jobs. They move very quickly but carefully and did a fantastic job from packing, to loading, to unloading, and unpacking. Overall a very great experience that exceeded my expectations. I had Matt and Maloreigh today to pack. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work, their friendly manner and their willingness to answer any questions. Nothing was too much bother for them. Obviously if you get negative reports from other customers it will NOT be because these two employees were involved.

When I was preparing myself to move to Dhaka, Bangladesh this past summer, it was a given that I would choose Taylor Moving and Storage. Growing up, my father was transferred to various locations throughout Ontario and Nova Scotia. The movers of choice were always Mayflower/Taylor Moving. Moving within the country has its challenges, but unless you have moved to the other side of the world, you don't comprehend the level of preparation that is required. I called Taylor, spoke to Arthur and Jennifer and it was like smooth sailing. I was given a quote, a personable and talented wrapper, packer and sorter came, took my things and the cargo was ready to go! Last Thursday, my shipment finally came from Canada to Dhaka-everything in tact! You cannot go wrong with this company: pre-care, move and post-care-they are the best. I am settled in this interesting part of the world with treasures from home, all because of the fine people at Taylor. I would not go with any other company. It's a family tradition-Taylor moves us!
Mark Hargreaves was our first contact with Taylor when he came to quote on our move from Ontario to Quebec. With a state of the art tablet he went from room to room estimating the weight of all our possessions. Throughout the process he reassured us how each larger piece would be wrapped/handled to prevent damage. He was incredibly personable & made us feel confident with Taylor. On the day of our move 2 stellar young men, Mike & Noland, appeared & worked ceaselessly until everything was loaded. It was all I could do to make them stop for coffee. We were fortunate that they were also the ones to be driving the truck to Quebec so again they did a brilliant job of unloading. The following day Mike texted me that he had found a caster to a bed while he was cleaning out the truck & offered to drop it off. We discovered in unpacking there was a small hinge missing from an IKEA glass case. He found that as well & dropped both items off! We are delighted we chose Taylor to move us. Yes, we had some broken glass on 2 corner cabinets but it is easily fixed. Yes, it turned out to be a little more expensive than the quote but we had anticipated that from the beginning. Throughout Taylor was professional & caring. Not only would we use them again we would also recommend them to all our friends! Thank you, Taylor, for taking such good care of us during such a traumatic time.

We booked Taylor Movers for one of the hottest days this Summer ie Aug 8th. The 3 Fellows we had were courteous and very pleasant and it was difficult to stop them from working in order to offer them a cold drink. They did not take a break and I couldn't have asked for a better Team of Workers. Nothing was damaged as they were ext. careful moving items. Don't bother getting the insurance. If they break anything they wont pay. Just threw my neighbours boxes down, with no regard for the contents and when something came up broken they refused to pay. 0-stars. Regarding your response, your company didn't pack anything in the move so why did you suggest and take money for the insurance if you know "in bold" it says you're not covered for anything you didn't pack? That's fraud.
We moved across Canada and all our stuff arrived in good shape and on time. I was impressed with the professionalism and quality of the service and highly recommend Taylor Moving.
Great experience with Taylor s Moving. They take all the stress away from moving your residence. The movers were pleasant, fun and efficient. Even the little things were there, like removing the light bulbs from the lamps, carefully wrapping them and placing them in a separate box. I can t imagine moving again without calling them first!

I've had nothing but problems with other moving companies that I have used. This is the first time nothing has gone wrong. There was an issue w customs/duty but the sister company they used in the UK is just as wonderful and took care of it.

Taylor Moving advertises their exclusive box program but neglects to mention that if you pack your own belongings it voids any warranty for delivery of undamaged goods. Even though a few containers were dropped by their movers, Taylor was quick to point out that their contract states that any item packed by the owner is not covered. So much for the exclusive box program. Read the contract carefully. We've used Taylor in the past but won't be using them again.
Very professional, friendly and efficient. The team did a wonderful job moving our heavy home gym equipment. They disassembled and reassembled our beds. They ensured our floors were protected and were very responsive to the specifics of what we wanted with the move.

Best move ever! Robbie, Alex and Alex were friendly, efficient, helpful, careful and considerate. I was very worried about moving during this pandemic because I am at fairly high risk, but they did everything possible to keep me safe. I had hand sanitizer and masks, but they brought their own and WORE them! Robbie's mask broke at one point and he was very concerned about my safety so he asked for one of the additional masks right away. They laid down floor matting everywhere and were careful not to ding the walls. Alex noticed that a chair arm was a bit wobbly and ensured me that they would take extra care. Robiie made sure that everything went in the correct place and that I was happy with where they put things. He put the bed back together and the china closet shelves in - something the last movers did not do! They were efficient and finished on time, so the estimate was spot on. I highly recommend this firm and would definitely use them again - something I hope to never have to do:)
I wanted to thank Robbie and Nolan for executing my recent move. They were on time, worked very fast and really took care of my stuff. Nothing major got broken, they tried their best to fit an oversized couch in the tight spaces. It was one of the smoothest moves I experienced in a while. We have moved twice in less than three years and also shipped some furniture to our son in B.C. and we used Taylor Moving all three times. The two local moves went well - the packers were very careful with our things and the moving crews were friendly and professional. The long distance move was trickier as it was a partial load that had to be combined with other loads so an exact arrival date could not be established. It showed up much earlier than we had hoped which was great.
In an industry where the end result is so dependent on who actually shows up to do your move, all of the staff from Taylor have been consistently good. After three successful moves, this cannot be luck! Taylor has obviously developed good hiring practices which you will benefit from when you select them for your move.

I just moved from Canada to NC. Taylor made the move so easy. The company also contacted another company to have my car shipped down. The 3 guys assigned to my move were on time, very professional, friendly and wasted no time getting down to work packing up my apartment. They made the move so easy and stress free. The drop off of my belongs was just as good. A friendly couple were right on schedule and transferred my belongings from the big rig to a smaller Uhaul truck. They had scoped out where they were going the night before drop of and decided it would be easier to bring my stuff in a smaller truck then the big one. I couldn t be happier with the overall experience of my out of country move. I anticipate my car being shipped will be as good of an experience. I would highly recommend this company any day and will definitely use them again!
They were one of the few movers that does cross-border move from Canada to west coast US (Toronto->San Francisco). I had the smallest move based on weight <2100lb and was quoted a very competitive price (I called many places). I paid extra for my workstation computer custom packed by them and insured and it arrived in pristine condition. The crew in Toronto was excellent. They were on-time, efficient, and very friendly. I even learned a few unique lifting techniques that I've never seen before. The customer service communication was speedy, responsive and professional throughout the entire move. Easily reachable by phone or E-mail.
Having said that, the biggest area that can use some improvement is on the US side. I know their control over that is most likely limited because the work is likely partnered with a US company. My desk arrived with a broken leg, and the US movers spoke little English. Regardless they were still friendly and efficient. Taylor Moving dealt with the insurance claim for the broken desk quickly and I was happy with the outcome. Overall I'm very satisfied with the move. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are moving cross-border.

Taylor international helped me coordinate a move between Vancouver, BC and Austria. They were quick at responding when I had questions, were competitive as far as rates go, and were efficient and on-time on the scheduled moving day. Transit time was quoted as 10-14 weeks, and the goods arrived exactly 10 weeks after they left Vancouver. Arthur, Linda and Carol were all great to work with. I would definitely recommend them.
This is our 3rd move with Taylor. All 3 times, their bill came under the estimate. Instead of just charging the amount in the quote, they charged for actual time. The movers themselves were professional and nice. They were quick and efficient.

Kim Bannister and the entire team at Taylor Moving is amazing! Fall 2017 my husband accepted a work transfer from Guelph, Ontario to Florence, Kentucky. Not only was it an International move (which requires skill and knowledge to orchestrate smoothly) but it also involved a multi-step moving/storage process. Half our our belongings were accompanying us to a temporary rental condo while the other half needed to be placed in a climate-controlled storage facility ( in the nearby Cincinnati area) until we took a permanent residence. Almost a year to the date, we reconnected with Kim at Taylor Moving and with Andy Mayer at their area partner, Specialty Storage Company (Milford, Ohio) to move ALL of our rental/storage belongings into our new home. The companies not only communicated with each other but stayed in constant, personal contact with us step by step. Both companies sent us crews that were efficient, hard-working, courteous and super accommodating! Our belongings traveled, were stored and delivered without incident. We couldn't have been more pleased. A HUGE thank you to Kim, Andy and their teams!!
I had my move with Taylor last week. Their movers were very thorough and Debbie was wonderful with her quote. Despite some hiccups with my new building elevator, the guys moving me in were very understanding and helpful.
