Went to trade my lease in, and told them I had two months left, and I was over on mileage. Oh not a problem. Let s get you out of the lease so you won t go even more over your miles so fast forward a few hours when I m leaving in a car. I came in an SUV. Somehow I got conned into taking a previous year model, for a Great Deal . I can t stand cars. . . . fast forward a few weeks. I get a call from my previous lease company, and they tell me you need to pay it, and you ll get reimbursed once we receive payment from the dealership. Ok so I paid them. Well, I never got my money back, and Ally never got money from the dealer. I call the dealer fuming about the situation and their response was we were under the impression your lease was finished, and there was nothing owed then I repeated what they told me before I agreed to sign the papers for the car they conned me into. I wouldn t sign until they reassured me they were paying my last two months plus over mileage. Needless to say, they never did and told me had we done that, we would have rolled the payments and mileage cost into your new loan, and you would never have gotten approved with negative equity from the get go, so you are solely responsible for paying your overages, not us

Had I known they were going to do this to me, I never would have gone to this dealership. They screwed my credit up with a Faulty Deal that they promised me, and I asked for it in writing. Yet they assured me they do lease terminations all the time. And that it s routine.

What gets me is that the salesman had looked up my account with Ally, and said yeah. We will pay that off no problem then a few weeks later on the phone told me when you came in I was under the impression that your lease was already done and paid off

I got conned by a true con artist that day, and have since, gotten rid of the overpriced Amazing Deal I got that day. Horrible customer service.

THEY LL DO WHATEVER THEY HAVE TO, AND SAY WHATEVER THEY HAVE TO, IN ORDER TO MAKE THEIR COMMISSION!

Why would I just give them my car, and buy another one, and pay for two cars at a time, when I could only drive one? They re idiots, and I was an idiot for signing that purchase agreement, without getting the Payoff Promise in writing.

From everybody at this Chevrolet dealership of at least Jason Lilly, Uncle Frank, and one of the reception ladies that I forgot her name which I do apologize is an awesome dealership, I mean they make you feel good knowing they have your best interest at heart, they get you approved when others say "No", they work hard to show you everything they have in inventory that's within your budget, no pressure to purchase, they are helpful and informative, they really care about you as the customer, they have a decent lot area filled with cars, trucks and SUV's, restroom was decent for a dealership, waiting room/office area's nice and clean, would recommend to my family and friends to come here for their family vehicle needs.

I thought I could trust this dealership with turni...

I thought I could trust this dealership with turning in my car, followed the salesman directions, provided them with my income statement, acted like my Social Security documents was fake, demanded extra statements from my direct express account and a checking account I am using for my Uber payments and they decided to straight up waste my time and send me on a wild goose chase. Ran my credit and additional 2 times after I specifically told them not to do that I would return the following month with my down payment. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Instead of telling me the truth and what I needed in the first place, they acted like they could do other things rather than service me and send me one my way. Never again will I trust this dealership with anything nor will I recommend anyone to do business with this dealership.

I've bought many vehicles in my lifetime and after meeting Lisa a few years back my whole experience of buying or leasing a vehicle has changed. Lisa and the entire Taylor staff make you feel like family. Taking care of getting you the transportation you need in a warm and professional manner. Kudos to the entire Taylor staff!!

My husband and I first time to lease a car and is our first time walking in Taylor Chevrolet and we did walk in a right path. Ron Curtis is awesome! Excellent service, very helpful. We really appreciate his help with us. We definitely will comeback in Chevrolet for future buying or lease again. If you're looking to buy or lease a car I highly recommend/look for Ron Curtis he is your guy when it comes to sales.

Bought my used car here 6 months ago. Great experience making the purchase. Brought it in today for its 6 month service. Also a great experience. Red carpet treatment all the way around. Fast service (I sheduled online) and they even washed it.100 percent satisfied. Definitely recommend.

If I could give them a negative 5 stars i would.i have been to taylor chevrolet over 5.did u guys read this? ..OVER FIVE TIMES!! For the exact same problem. I have 5 invoices dated from 3/17 -10/17 telling the tech to ck my truck for the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I paid over $2500 in total ..and guess what..I still have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. REDICULOUS. Mark and Jen in service refuse treated me like something stuck at tbe bottom of their shoe.no I'm in small claims court trying to get my money back to take my vehicle to a REAL DEALER and have it repaired. I'm contacting lansing with all my documents and file a complaint. .STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEIR HORRIBLE. Hopefully everyone with a complaint will contact Lansing as well . Google it look it up people don't let thm jus take our money .and look up lemon laws on the Lansing site to the complaint before mine.the more Lansing knows the better ..In a couple days I will post a link you guys can go to and see my actual invoices from this dealership. With the dates and the reason i was bringing my car in for service. All 5 invoices say the same thing in a 8 month period. And they say the tech rode with me on a couple occasions and VERIFIED IT!! But you guys will see the invoices the dates and the amount I paid..I don't want this to just be a review. I want the world to see the actual facts.if I can save one person from this madness at this dealership and this helps anyone I will.look forward to my link.PLEASE

The customer service is horrible and I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle up to the service department for an oil change. Service manager is not about the customer but about the bottom line. Worst experience at a Chevy Dealership ever. Doesn't even deserve one star.

Took my truck in on 1/21. Was told they were backed up with repairs and no loaners available. My truck was shutting off, we could smell fumes & I noticed a leak of trans fluid. I had no choice but to leave it. My extended warranty only covered a rental w/approval of repairs. I had to get my own which cost me $200. Took them a week before they even looked at my car & said it was a sensor & repaired the throttle but no leak. That work was done in a few hours. Now here it is 2/15 and I'm still seeing a leak & the fumes smell has returned. I'm been giving Taylor Chevy my business for years but their repair shop needs better management. I think I'll go elsewhere.

We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Andy Dimitroff in June. My wife and I were quite pleased with Andy's professionalism.
He explained and demonstrated all of the bells and whistles on the vehicle we selected, as well as answering any and all of our questions.
We thought highly of everyone else we encountered on our visit. The selection of vehicles in our budget was very impressive. We would highly recommend Taylor Chevrolet and Andy Dimitroff to our family and friends. Go Green!!

I purchased a used car from Dennis Smith in used cars, I was told when I purchased the car that I had a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. I bought the car in October 2014 and have already had it serviced for thermostat, doors off the hinge, coil pack, a/c which never worked but apparently isn't included in warranty, bought it in winter otherwise I would have pointed it out then, and now it is broken down again and worse case scenario it is head gasket. I bought this car because I needed a good reliable car for work, something I could afford that was good on gas. Also, I never received a copy of the warranty and the guy in the service dept said he doubted that it was bumper to bumper and since I never received physical proof, how do I dispute that? Not happy.

The service is a joke here. We received a recall on our vehicle and the recall stated to call your local dealership for the repairs after July 1,2019 ( being that they needed to get the parts in ) which we did but when we made the appointment they said this would be done and give us a loaner car when arriving to Taylor Chevy today, they stated that they did not have the parts even if they needed to be replaced and they would not give a loaner car for the inconvenience of having to wait when we were told that we would not have to wait for this. Our vehicle is approved as there is the recall on it and we now have to drive around a car that have both control arms broken due to a recall and the service department does not think there is anything wrong with turning us away.. Not a problem I will never walk foot into this dealership again the service simply does not know what they are doing and it's kinda of funny they wont print off the customer copies of work that had been done here also. All customers have rights to this by law, I've worked in many dealerships even in the service side of things and never would I ever treat a customer this way.

They will set up appointments 2 weeks in advance with the promise of a loaner and magically no loaners once you arrive. Protect your sanity and DO NOT deal with Taylor Chevrolet!!

Everyone that I came in contact with, even if it was just in passing, made eye contact and greeted me. In our current world of negativity, it was refreshing.

I was in for just a routine oil change and tire rotation and had a great experience. It is actually cheaper to come to the dealership than to go to one of the 10 minute oil change places. And I like the piece of mind in knowing that everything was completed properly.

Genthe is in Southgate, I live in Southgate and when I have to go look for a new dealership I was told to contact them and I will NEVER go anywhere else unless I am unable to get a automobile from there.

Third and Final Update: I took my truck into Genthe, two days later they called me and said my truck was ready. TWO DAYS. The problem with my truck... TWO FRONT SHOCKS. <--------- TWO FRONT SHOCKS.

Let's go over the list Taylor Chevy "replaced:"
Rear shock mount.
Driver Side Lower AND Upper control arms.
Driver and passenger struts.
They swapped struts at one point? Okay.
Driver side strut mount.
STEERING GEAR BOX.
14 Carfax's for me!

So, uh, as I go to pick my truck up, I told the guy there what Taylor did, his reply: "Sounds like they made some money off of GM from you."

They never did try to "recoup" any money for me, either.

Lmao. This place represents Downriver perfectly. What an absolute dumpster fire.
This place is so cheap, it looks like a little national car rental office building.

I'm an idiot for going to the corner dump to get a truck. My b.

Update Number 2: So after 38 days at the dealership, these clowns called me at 5:30 the night I was told my truck would be ready. "Isaac, we wanted to call and inform you that GM has given us authorization to release your vehicle to you before the holidays, it is safe to drive, but we were unable to fix the noise. They ensure us that it is safe to drive. Bring back your truck on January 2nd and we will continue to work on it". Pretty convenient time for my service supervisor to not be there to greet me, by the way... So I drove up to Taylor and pulled into their service garage; the only customer in the garage you would think one of the three huddled employees would greet my friend and I. But no. I stood there with my buddy waiting and wondering what I should do for about five minutes. Amazing. What a cherry on top.

This is so unreal at this point, but it gets even better. My truck's noise is WORSE now. It's pulling to the left as well. Literal greese prints in six different spots on my paint. I drove it from the 22nd of December until Jan 14th when I could get into Genthe.

That's where it sits now. With 12 Carfax and again growing.

They said they would try to recoup some costs for my $400 dollar a month truck while I was driving a $100 SUV. That never happened. Haha. Thanks again. I'm to the point where it's like why bother trying to call them for some relief, because they can't even get the ball in their hands to drop. It's absurd.

Please, seriously consider somewhere else. You will be rewarded.

Okay, here's your honest review.

They are right, they say "yes." If you can't get a car through other dealers, this would probably be the option for you. If you literally could choose which dealer you deal from based on the "normal" car buying details, you should.

The service department. Haha.

I don't want to be told five different dates my truck will be ready.
I don't want to pick up a car half the value of mine to drive.
I don't want to pick up my rental on an 1/8th of a tank.
I don't want to be told I have 999 miles only on a rental.
I don't want to be told that I actually have 3200 miles to use.
I don't want to be told differently a third time I ONLY get 3200 miles on the VEHICLE ITSELF.
I don't want to be told I can't leave the state in my rental.
I don't want to be told when I'm unhappy about the cheap rental car I'm stuck in can be traded in for a DOWNGRADE TRAX. HAHA.
I don't want another Chevy.

That's all real, people. $50,000 truck. The difference here is service. It's one thing to have that blacked out Silverado have problems, but the difference is service.

So if a single soul reads this, it's worth it. I literally am done with the Chevy brand next time around. You should at all costs avoid these guys.

Taylor Chevrolet is a great place to shop for a new or used car. What I like most about this dealership, is that the show room and the sitting area is like sitting in your own home. They have hot coffee decaf or regular and popcorn if you like. My favorite staff member is Mark Len, always friendly willing to assist you with what ever your needs maybe when it come to your car. Mark Len is the heart beat of Taylor Chevrolet....why because its makes a difference when you are treated with respect and dignity. I know if Mark is there everything will be alright . Buying a vehicle can bring on anxiety, but if Mark Len is there, he will make sure you are happy and satisfied with your purchase...

I had a good experience with used car sales. Ask for Mike Kennedy. He's a young go-getter and will do most anything to make the deal! After the deal, he was out there in 16 deg cold scraping the stickers off the windows and cleaning the residue. He also personally cleaned the car so my wife could "seal" the deal when she arrived. He's a worker! He is not your typical millenial.

If I could give the used car sales department a ZERO I would!!! SERIOUSLY the absolute WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my entire life!!!! I wouldn t send my worst enemy to these people! Nothing but scam artists!

I will add I tried contacting Tracie on Saturday after you suggested I do so, in an attempt to make our experience a positive one. As of today, Thursday, I still haven t received a call back. My whole family buys/leases cars from you, but never again. You have lost all of our business.

Needless to say, if you need a vehicle, don t waste your time with these people. I got in contact with someone at Michael Bates, and even through all this, they have gone above and beyond what Taylor Chevy did in almost 3 months.

Update: had my 2019 Chevy in for service due to my car going into low power mode. Ended up being my intake air duct not being properly locked into place with the locking clips from the factory. Christy in service was fantastic and even had the courtesy of getting some nice gentleman to deliver my car to me at work. Love this kind of service. She's awesome.

I brought my car in for an oil change and they smashed in my front end. Took them over 3 weeks to fix it with with no follow up. When I went to pick up the vehicle they tried to charge me for the oil change. I do not recommend for even simple repairs. Horrible customer service and care.

Brian Conover is the best salesman in the place!!! Only complaint is service. Even with an appointment the wait has never been less then 2 hours. It s a bit crazy, why make an appointment? Not sure why it s like this. Maybe taking non appointments or over booking. But UGH!! But if you come here ask for Brian.

I made an appointment and get there and they tell me they dont have my appointment and it's a 2 hour wait I show them the email confirmation for my appointment and she tells me my name was spelled wrong so they didn't see it but it's all done online so the spelling is on file that's where I got the truck from and told me even with an appointment it's still 2 hour wait this is the second time having my truck in the service department and it's been a disaster I'm not going back

I wanted to take a minute of my time to tell you what a wonderful New
car sales Manager Jody is. Since 2005 my husband and I have been loyal
customers to Rogers Chevrolet; however, with our most recent lease
vehicle (2008 Impala leased in Feb 2008), we discovered their very poor
quality of customer service as well as poor quality in vehicle repair.
When we leased that car the troubles began. On average that vehicle was
in the shop for some type of repair once every 3.3 months.
I recently have had several concerns regarding warranty issues that were
never completed. After contacting Rogers several times to get that car
in for repairs prior to lease turn in, I was always told there was
no rental available and that I would have to wait up to 2 weeks for them
to be able to get my car in the shop. My lease was due to be up May 14,
2011 and I was very upset this morning and I contacted your service dept
to inquire about the repair issues that Rogers basicaly refused to
address. I first spoke with Chris( I think that was his name) in the
service dept and he was more than willing to assist me in getting some
answers to my problems. Chris then refered me to Jody Smith, the New
Car Sales Manager. Jody contacted me within minutes after I hung up the
phone with Chris. Jody was very kind and listened to my concerns and
problems with Rogers. My husband and I have been trying to get into a new car with Rogers for
almost 2 months now and we have had no return calls or letters. Jody
asked if we would come in and meet with him. I agreed and I have to say
that I have never met a person in a sales position that had more concern
about the customer than anything else. He clearly knew how upset I was
and he worked with us and got us approved for a new car today to help
ease the burden and worry since Rogers would not respond to us at all.
I am VERY thankful that I actually found a car dealership that actually
cares about their customers first! This man and his team went above and
beyond their job to make sure we were completely satisfied when we left
this evening. Please take a moment of your time to say a big thank you
to Jody, Chris, and Tony for treating us with diginity, respect, and
kindness. Thank you very much!

I feel like my sales person was nice but was rushing and just trying to make a sale. However I did get the vehicle that I came for, I called the dealership she answered so she pretty much knew she had a sale, I learned, so next time I'm going to make my sales person earn their money. I think I could of got a better deal, I also took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation and it took near 3 hours so the Maintenance service stinks, Overally vehicle ride nice and it is what I wanted. So happy with the product but no over whelmed with the customer service.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Not only are they completely unethical, they are immoral and are completely OK by it.

Sales Associate, Frank Bentley, is the one I'm personally calling out. A few months ago, he called my wife's grandmother regarding a "great sale" and that she should come to check it out. My wife's grandmother is 86 years old and this guy sold her a $40,000 USED!!! SUV. Not only immoral and unethical, it's just plain wrong. He took advantage of her willingness to believe in "good" people, and he charged her an outrageous price for a car, fully knowing that the car is worth MUCH less. Absolutely despicable.

I recently called the dealership to speak to the general manager. Not only was I tossed around as they didn't wish to speak to me, the customer experience manager, Alisha, said that they have a list of people they can call regarding "deals". When I informed her that I could walk off the lot with a brand NEW Mercedes for $40,000, her response was "oh well, she signed the contract".

It's a shame when companies like this put money in front of ethical and moral values. This company should NOT be in business nor should they ever conduct business. Trust is something you can't buy and this company has proven they can't be trusted. It's a shame, but this company is despicable.
