locked me here for a couple weeks so i would not be a plague rat but it was pretty nice and i can imagine enjoying my time there

Friendly staff, and amazing service

While I was on a trip I ended up stuck at the airport due to some of the worst weather I've ever seen. The hotel sent a car to pick me up and had a wonderful room. As a bonus in the room when I returned there was fresh milk and cookies on the table. The staff there is so caring and are the best in their profession. This hotel is at the top of my list of best service.

The hotel is amazing, very clean and great service. However, it seems like they did not manage the parking lot. Non-EVs were parked at EV only spots, and guests reporting to the hotel, they did not care to bother since the cars belong to hotel guest. On Cornell campus, if you park anywhere not following the signs, you will get a ticket within 10 min. Guess the hotel has some very privileged guest that they can park their ICE cars at EV spots without being ticketed or towed. Hotel needs to enforce to all guests that EV charging spot is for EV only. Indeed.

Stopped by here to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. Staffed by school graduates and students, it lives up to its reputation as one of the best places to eat in the area. The lobster handkerchief pasta was light and savory, the steak was cooked to the exact specification, and the sides of corn succotash and potato puree were excellent. The s'mores dessert was a little on the sweet side, but made for a nice summary at the end of the meal. Portions here tend to trend a little bit more towards the European size, a little smaller, which is a nice change of pace from the giant meals you'll find elsewhere. I you can actually order takeout here too and they package it well. Unfortunately they didn't have the calamari anymore.

I am not complaining about the hotel, I am saying that the price does not match the result. Much about a stay has to do with the people, and the little things. (And that the room does not smell, but I am giving 4 stars because the room was great.) The bell hops were too aggressive & had no conversational skills, the waitstaff was clearly in training, the printers in the business room had no ink. Not killers - but clearly not worthy of 5-stars.

I was in the restaurant business, and also a trainer of managers. If this is a school for hotel people, I saw no teachers on staff. How would the teacher of the bell hops know how to improve their skills if they were not there to see it.

The hotel is fine, quite nice. But not worth the price.

Nice restaurant. Upscale food choices. The sausage rigatoni was very good. Wife said the chicken was excellent. Younger guests enjoyed the Shirley temple's. The vegetarians did like the gnocchi, but it had a poached egg, so that could be the reason.

My little one yelled, they give us the room with the ugliest view ! We expected to have a nice view over Cornell university as websites describe. That s NOT the case! After walking into the room we were all shocked by the ugly view outside the windows. We didn t feel being respected since there were plenty of empty rooms due to the pandemic.

A very bad impression about the hotel. Something you understand it.

The outdated room was small and bathroom was small too. It s like a two star or three star hotel in a campus. $15 for parking. We definitely won t select this hotel for our next visits in fall and winter.

Exception cleanness, super customer service, we stayed only 3 nights. Delicious meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Friendly, respectful atmosphere. You'll going to love this hotel and their staff. We'll be definitely coming back! Rating 10+.
