It's absolutely stunning and the wine options are great! We got there as soon as it opened so we had great seats and service. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or for a night out with friends. I'll definitely be visiting again!

we were fortunate to have been a member of our grandsons first birthday party here today! The staff was very accommodating. We were able to sample several appetizers and main dishes. Everything was delicious!

Its upscale wine bar and restaurant. There is a nice patio seating section and a fire place with couches inside. Plus they have upstairs dining area. The happy hour has $12 meat and cheese board. Theres a picture, what do you think

The hostess was rude to us upon arrival. We called it out. She got defensive and made it worse. We left. When we asked the valet for our car back, he asked 'was it the hostess?' Clearly not the first time he's seen that happen.

There's a really delightful collection of dishes on this menu. While most of the plates tend toward the smaller size, it's really more of a feature than a fault because it gives you a chance to eat more things. I'm also a fan of places that don't bow to the whims of every picky eater in Los Angeles. I was particularly impressed by the carrot tostada, the pork belly, and the masa gnocchi. Husband got the salmon and was pretty much over the moon for it. Heck, I'm usually not a big fan of cooked salmon and even I found it to be really enjoyable. The short ribs were also crazy delicious. Jesus, how much did we eat?

We were appalled by the business practices of this restaurant. When we received the bill we noticed a charge that was listed as a tax. We inquired about it and found that it was a 3% tax for the employees health insurance. Only after the inquiry we were told that the tax was optional. Also we asked if bread was served with the meal. Our waiter said only if requested. We requested bread and found a charge for the bread on the bill. This company obviously doesn't want to support its staff with health insurance so they have the customer do it. Booth of these are practices take advantage of the consumer and we will not return and will not recommend it to friends.

Awesome atmosphere with a really unique take on Tapas. The food is mainly fusion and everything is packed with flavors. My favorite was the Pork Cutlet paired with the 06 Branham Cabernet Sauvignon.

so good it is frightening!! their small plates especially of charred cauliflower and artichoke are specially spiced-sometimes with curry etc.--great cured meats and cheese plates and of course an ample wine by the glass selection which beats most others.

Used to be an L.A. highlight, and it had been a while since we'd paid a visit. Went in for Father's Day and we were really happy with the service and vibe of the place. But, sadly, the food was somewhat lacking. Nothing special here, and especially at the price-point. I would probably come back again and enjoy a cocktail and some appetizers at the bar - again the vibe is really nice - but I don't think another full meal is in the cards.

I went here for the second time in a long time. My first visit, I was super impressed by both the customer service + food quality that I probably would ve given a four or five star at the time.

Food Quality, Ambiance + Other staff - My favorites were the crab omelette and roasted potatoes. Very juicy and seasoned perfectly. Lastly, Our server and the runners were attentive, warm and welcoming. They are they only reason I didn t rate a one or two star.

I've never been to the old AOC, but I can say that the new AOC is absolutely gorgeous. The interior is truly breathtaking, but I was even more impressed by the patio. Somehow they managed to keep it very cool despite the 90+ degree weather, and it was a total pleasure to bask outside.

Now that I'm done drooling over the atmosphere, let's talk about the food.

We started with two focaccias to share. Tasted more on the mini pizza side, but really light and delicious nonetheless.

ricotta, cherry tomato, eggplant & tapenade - my I liked this one more than the second option. I LOVE olive tapenade, so no complaints over here. Plus, the overall flavors really complemented each other.
skordalia, cavolo nero, clams & gremolata - a tad on the blander side, but still good after a couple of salt shakes.

For my main, I opted for the Farmer's Lunch. I do think it's worth noting that I NEVER order vegetarian if I can help it, but I was thoroughly impressed by the vegetable medley this came with. Everything was light, fresh, and well-seasoned. It also came with a side of bread perfect for dipping into the chickpea puree (and I think the tapenade?).

Great service, food, atmosphere. I'd definitely come back!

Twelve words: fennel stuffed quail with spinach salad, grilled baguette, tapenade & roasted figs. Sublime! Only on A.O.C.'s lunch menu. Fake an illness at work if you have to. Paired with a terrific glass of red wine recommended by our friendly, gracious, veteran, expert server. Loved!

Really enjoyed their mellow vibe and Moscow Mules. It was an easy Saturday night here with live music -- something that seems hard to find nowadays. The owner (bartender) was very welcoming and attentive. I have a great appreciation for people who take the leap and open up their own business. Best of luck! You got something special

So pleasant. Lovely atmosphere, homey but elegant food, attentive service. Despite the room being large with high ceilings, noise level on a Sunday evening was low enough to converse. There is an attention to creating a warm welcoming experience without being over bearing, unlike other high-end chef-run restaurants in LA.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Always delicious and inventive menu items. There's something on there for everyone. Super attentive service. Beautiful interior and a gorgeous outdoor patio. Always a transformational experience. I'm a regular and will always steer visitors here for a classic Los Angeles dining experience!

Cute patio but that was the highlight. Very expensive for what you get. Also, I needs to be clear on their social media that the chicken and waffles are ONLY available on the sunday brunch. I drove out there for nothing.

The environment are great.
However, the food is not perfect. The duck is very salty, and the chicken salad is on the bitter side.
On the good side, the Spanish Fry Chicken is juicy and crispy. The chicken and duck are super tender.

First off, this is NOT fine dining or upscale. This is a good hang out I guess if you don t mind spending $20 on mediocre food. Maybe the trick is to get really drunk so that the food will taste better! The service wasn t great either. The waiter didn t bother asking why our small plates were still full when I asked for the check. I guess they have a lot of business so quality control and bad service doesn t matter. This was a real disappointment!!

Cool spot. Just like everyone says its hard to find the first time but I kind of like that. Keeps the tourists away. Nice speakeasy style feel with modern craft cocktails. We found ordering from the bar then taking a seat easiest.

What a piece of heaven to walk into after 3 grueling days at Cedars-Sinai Hospital watching our mom struggle. Jessica greeted us with a smile and found a spot for the three weary girls from Portland. She looked at us and said that we needed some comfort food. AOC is comfort food and then some. The Spanish fried chicken was tender and delicious. The focaccia was similar to a miniature pizza. It had the perfect amount of chew and crunch combination.
Thank you AOC for taking care of these tired and weary girls!

In a times of molecular gastronomy and prices through the roof, this place still delivers most palate entertainment for the buck. The range of flavors and the delivery are impecable. We are going back again.

Was really looking forward to our first visit to this restaurant. Upon entering we were not greeted by the hostes but asked for the time of our reservation. She seemed friendly and willing to find us a space, until our table was ready. She came by several times to apologize for the delay.

Once seated, no one came to our table for at least 10minutes, until I flagged a server down and asked for water and bread. The server returned and served water for all 6 without moving around the table... in other words, he reached over next to my wife while trying to pour all 6 glasses and even asked my daughter to move her glass closer to him so he could pour. By the time our waiter arrived we told him we were ready to order our food. Finding out we were not ordering drinks he proceeded to inform us that there was a charge for the bread service. From there on our waiter seemed disinterested at best if not bothered to service our table. He offered no assistance in our selection of dishes or bothered to describe any of them, he did however informed us that the dishes were meant to be shared and should order at least 2 per person. For the remainder of the dinner, he came back once at the end of the meal to bring us the check and did not bother to even ask if we wanted to order dessert. Well, enough about the lack of service...

The food portion were small and most were overcooked, chewy, over salted, some saturated in soy sauce, just plain terrible. The price would have been reasonable for exceptional tasting dishes in a high end restaurant with timely and courteous service, but this restaurant falls short on all fronts.

Our mutual consensus was one of regret and disappointment... in wasting of a good amount of money in what was a terrible dining experience.

Wow...talk about real deal pasta! This is the second time I've come here and not only is it delicious but it's such a cute little restaurant. The service here is great and very welcoming. Today I had their Tortellini and it was so creamy and flavorful. The tortellini was filled with ricotta and spinach, topped with a creamy sauce. They have so many options to choose from on their menu too! My date had the Lasagna and man it looked so gooey and saucy..too shy to ask to try but I was jealous! This is such a nice place to bring a date or friends, very chill ambience and the food is fresh; the pasta is literally made to order..you can taste the authenticity in the food! Thanks Maccheroni Republic!

This is a lovely restaurant I was really excited to try dinner here. We ordered the asparagus focaccia, the cherry and avocado salad, Spanish fried chicken and the lamb skewers. Definitely come back here!!

This is a difficult review to write because the food and service was fantastic, but unfortunately the restaurant decides to impose a 5% surcharge on top of the bill, allegedly to cover the cost of health insurance...this is highly suspicious though because health insurance is a fixed cost which should be built into the cost of food, not a marginal tax offloaded to the customers in additional to the menu s prices. There s no guarantee this money is going to the cost of health insurance and seems like a hidden fee used to pad the restaurant s profits.

A.O.C. has always been my Top restaurant. You will dine on their beautiful outdoor garden patio surrounded by lush greenery around a large, wood burning fireplace. The food is always outstanding, whether you come for lunch or dinner. The brunch items were beyond delicious.

A Los Angeles standard that I miss whenever I m away. Loads of trendy spots come and go in this city, while a.o.c. remains excellent and consistent. Secret to getting a seat? Go for the early evening happy hour any weekday evening.

Gotta say if I hadn't been with a dear friend on a lovely LA night I would have given AOC worse marks. We tried. We ordered a variety. Just couldn't find anything that tasted better than what we'd have thrown together back at home. I'll try it again because it's a short walk away and the prices aren't as high as its neighbors. Hopefully, I hit it on a down night.

The waitress then came over and ask to take our main course order. I had the veggie burger and my husband had the butternut squash dumplings, and the A.O.C. salad... we were both raving about how amazing the food was.

This place is great for date night or just hanging with some friends! I had a late dinner here at 10 pm and the restaurant was packed! I order the Spanish fried chicken (AMAZING) and vegetable plate with bread and burrata! Definitely will return to try other menu items! There is valet parking and limited street parking. Definitely make a reservation!

What a delicious discovery! I had the salmon scramble and delighted at every bite and the potatoes were so good no sauce was needed. The service was great and the food came out quickly. The inside is cute with lots of fun art on the wall to browse through.

Spanish themed new digs with new additions to an already wonderful menu. Clams, sherry, garlic & toast as well as the bacon dates still there. Hanger steak with roquefort butter & shallots memorable. Tried the american poet cocktail just because bourbon seemed the right thing to do. Do wish they carried more ca reds.
