Definitely take a tour. The tour guides are hilarious, super nice, and very knowledgeable. Plus, you get to try great beer!
My Favorite Beer is in my hand and it is Goose Island John Annis Glendale AZ.
Goose Island Beer Company, 1800 W Fulton St, Chicago, IL 60612 is a great brewery and will not disappoint you at all with their selection of standard as well as more specialized seasonal releases.
Awesome tour! It was very interesting to get behind the scenes and see how beer is made. Our guide was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. You get to try 3 different beers and take a home a Goose Island glass with ticket price. It is definitely worth visiting!
It's okay, if you dont like high gravity beer than beer options are limited. Also the meat and cheese tray, not worth the money ($12 each).
The saddest thing in the world is wasted potential.
Great service, covid safe... groundbreaking ordering method... bourbon county is a must
We had so much fun at this place. We drove in from the twin cities and had a flight. Couldn't resist a bottle of 2012 cellared bourbon county. The next day we came back for the tour. Ciara was an excellent guide. Started us off with a green line sample and we finished with Halia and sofie. All beers I wouldn't have normally tried. Tour was fast paced and informative We finished our time with a couple more samples. The Hazy Dolores needs to be bottled! It's amazing! Took home a few four packs and bottles. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Cool facility. Checked out the Against Me! show during the Urban Block Party one year. Tons of great beer on tap. Really well organized. Solid food selection, too, for the event.
had a nice tour with tyler. very interesting and fun. Thanks
You can't visit Chicago and not come here. Great informative trip, awesome beer and super pleasant staff. You have got to love it!!
The staff is the most friendly group of people I have ever met. We are in town from pennsylvania and we were treated like we have been from Chicago our whole life. The tour was awesome and very informative. Rob answered each and every question we had and just talked with us. Aaron was a very cool guide and had alot of fun. Awesome place.
Great beers, cool taproom, excellent customer service and their tour was a lot of fun.
Dana is the best tour guide! Great beer and a great experience!
Wow. Just wow. I mean...how can you even? Good golly, you guys. Good. Golly.
Proud of this hometown brewery but have never had a beer of theirs I enjoyed. Today I got my hands on their celebrated annual bourbon barrel aged stout, and couldn't be more disappointed. It's absolute sludge--a mixture of stale chocolate and motor oil with almost no carbonation. And as far as the restaurant goes, been there a few times...spotty service and uninspired menu. Really surprised they've lasted this long.
DANA Was the bomb for our tour. A very informative and very fun tour. Would love to go again!
You can expect friendly, attentive service and a variety of beers to try (draft, cans, and bottles)! It was fun to learn about the history or train behind the names of their beers (a lot of female names).
The tasting room is also decorated with Chicago- related art pieces that really compliment the vibe of the brewery. Overall a very enjoyable experience and will be back!
From the outside it looks like nothing special. But once inside they have arguably the best stouts in the country. You MUST try one of the Bourbon Country Stouts!!!
Great spot, has the old school feel to it. They serve beer and some snacks.
Great beer selection. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice to be able to try out a few Bourbon County variants from the cellar. My only gripe is the prices they re charging are higher than secondary prices. If you show up at the right time you can catch some awesome beers on tap also. Got a pour of 2015 Rare and it was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
Always an amazing time very knowledgeable and very friendly staff and very happy that we can come down and enjoy bottles that surely should not exist anymore

Is this heaven?

It's Iowa.
John Kinsella:
Iowa? I could have sworn this was heaven.
Ray Kinsella:
Is there a heaven?
John Kinsella:
Oh yeah. It's the place where dreams come true.
Ray Kinsella:
Maybe this is heaven.
get the putine. just do it. there is also beer here.
The beer is great but the interior is somewhat lackluster. Granted I didn't take the tour, but I assume it is much the same as all other brewery tours, but it did seem to come with a pint glass. Stop by if you are walking past, but not really a destination.
The brewery is very good with a wide range of selections for the beers. The tour is highly recommended as they give you a history of the company, talk about the ingredients and the source of it. The tour guide (Megan) and everyone else who worked there looked passionate about their work. You get to taste different beers on the tour and we got a souvenir at the end of the tour which made the experience even better. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and will come back soon.
Amazing beer and merchandise! Always a good time even if it is outdoors.
Nice space, heaters, seating was well managed, nice people. Good beers.
Loved every part of it.
Learned stuff I didnt know
Will come visit each year
:)
Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable tour guides, reasonable prices, and what a great tour. Can't beat the beer, either.
It was a great tour and so great to try new and innovative beers.
Helpful, polite bartenders. Always good to see a vintage Bourbon County variant on-tap. Cellar selections for on-site consumption are fair price.
Great beer tour. 3 different pours and great history and walk-through of the whole beer-making process. Really nice pint glass to keep see the end. Worth the ticket price!
One of the best breweries in Chicago with a variety of beers for all drinkers, including ciders on tap. Located near CTA Green line and variety of bus lines with an abundance of street parking. Taproom is cozy so get their early if you want a table and can BYOF since they do not have a kitchen at this location. Great vintage list especially if you are Bourbon County Stout fan
The brewery tour was great ... we got to know the history of Goose Island which on May 13th celebrated its 30th anniversary and we tried three types of beer straight from the source.
I don't drink beer but my boyfriend likes it. It gets busy though.
Goose Island has the best of the best beer no matter what type you enjoy. Virtue cider is absolutely amazing as well for anyone who is gluten intolerant or doesn't like beer.
Love the bartenders and the guy who does it all, can't remember his name but I'm sure you'll see him at the door, behind the bar, giving guests advise on which beer meets their needs and much more. Greatest beer selection in town.
Goose island's hour long beer tour was well worth the $12. Our tour guide Marquis was friendly, outgoing and intelligent. He had us try a few different types of beer along the tour and he taught us about the beer making process. The taproom beer was great and the staff were kind. I would absolutely go back!
Dana was our tour guide and she rocked! The tour was insightful and fun, and the beer was amazing! I d go again in a second.
Great Beer, Great Staff and even greater atmosphere! !!!!!! Love the Forcone Pale Ale!!!
We had Chris- one of the best brewery tours I ve had to date!
Did the tour as well as had a couple cold ones in taproom. The tour was fantastic. A great look at behind the scenes plus got to sample some beers along the way. The tour guides we're fantastic, especially Johnny!!! He was very knowledgeable and had great answers to all questions!! Taproom was fun. Great atmosphere, alot of drafts u can't find in stores. If you are a Goose Island fan, this place is a must!!!
I made an online reservation and joined the tour.
It was a cold day when a snowstorm warning came out of the season, but the shop was full of young people.
The tour is not a type that walks around the factory, but a style where you can listen to stories while tasting at two places. There are three types of tastings in total.
The elder sister in charge of the explanation also drinks by himself (laugh)
Finally, you will receive a beer tumbler different from the tasting glass as a souvenir.
I enjoyed it even if I do not understand English.
Beau Forbes did a fantastic job of making the tour informative and interesting. The Goose Island heritage, although not that long, is nothing short of a fantastic story of business accomplishment. Beau conveyed the rich, young heritage with solid humor and highly technical professional intellect. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Many thanks.
For how busy they are, their staff is quick. Open floor plan for plenty of standing room, but it's not shoulder-to-shoulder crowded.
Great tour and great beers. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Amazing beers, many of which are tap exclusives. Crazy busy on our visit, but the staff was extremely hardworking and patient.
Giving you five stars for creativity even though I don't agree with you. Fans don't get paid millions every year to be able to do the same thing as the athletes on the field. Anyhoo, I bet your beer is delicious and I'd love to try it some day.
Great tour, loved the tap room. Had a lot of great beers to try. Some exclusive only there. Was worth the money if you like Goose island or beer in general
Incredible tour! Staff goes above and beyond to give you a personalized experience inside of the brewery. You ll learn about the brewing process, the stories behind the beer names and the brewers who make them! Got to sample three delicious beers. Highly recommend!
Fun tour that includes tastings along the way. Our guide, Eric, was funny and informative. The Boubon Barrel Stout is awesome is one of my favorite beers ever! We live in Chicago, and woud reccomend the tour and taproom to locals and tourists alike.
We did the tour with Chris and it was great! We got a lot of information and got to see a good chunk of the brewery. Definitely plan to do the tour when you visit!
The taproom here is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The tour is the best I've ever been on! You get to go through the entire brewery and barrel warehouse during production hours. They also have one of a kind beers you can only get there as well. Street parking is easy too.
We had a nice time here on the 4th. They are doing a great job social distancing with distanced tables and online ordering. The beers are obviously fantastic, it's Goose Island.
Great beer, great tour, great merch! It was an awesome time and very cool to learn about a local Chicago beer company!
Wow. Love this place. Everyone was mellow and fun.
I'd go four stars, but it seems like every time I'm here I run into brewers and other Goose Island folks and good conversation and often great times ensue. A well done tap room that I think will get even better as age helps break it in. If you're in the area pop in, grab a beer, and chat up your neighbor. And if you're lucky enough to be served by the excellent bartender Krystal, tell her I say hello.
The tour is very interesting, you get samples of different beers and an explanation of how they are made. Make your reservation online, the system is very easy to use, you should arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour. The merchandise available for purchase is high quality and not too pricey.
Awesome tour with Eric! (Erik?) I learned a lot!
A little sad that the tap room closed at 8 but it's probably better with no kitchen there.
Cool taproom with draft beers only available there. Merchandise and tours as well. Pretty busy on the weekends in the industrial corridor.
Chill spot, some board games, 1 food item but surprisingly it s not that big compared to other breweries and of course lots of beer options.
The tap room seats about 80 people and most Friday's and Saturday's they have different food trucks that visit. Take a tour of the brewery before enjoying a few cold ones.
Cool space for the tap room, although as it is in an industrial area, not a lot going on around there. Nice selection of regular Goose Island beers and a handful that are produced on site that you cannot get anywhere else. No food, but they are cool with ordering in. Definitely will go back.
Fun tour and the tour guide was very knowledgeable in beer (Eric). Glad we got to buy some rare Bourbon County beers for consumption at the brewery!
Jen was our informative tour guide and was fantastic! You can t beat the price for samples and a pint glass to bring home.
The staff is super nice and very knowledge about their product. Sampled a ton of their beers which were free so that was great. The brewery itself so so laid back. Me and my friends had a great time. Out of the four breweries I went to I thought their beer tasted the freshest. Can't wait to visit you guys soon. Thanks!
Great music and atmosphere. Good place for goose island beer
The tour was absolutely great and we had an incredible tour guide. She knew a lot about the business overall and beer in general. I would do this tour again!
This was literally the best Brewery tour we've ever been on! Dana and Jenn were awesome guides!
Had an awesome tour experience. Our tour guide was very informative but also very funny. Would recommend to take the tour if you get a chance!!
Awesome, engaging staff. Great beers on tap, some exclusive to GI Fulton. Everything was dime. The tour was also a good experience, with nice pours and a glass at the end. 10/10.
The staff here is top notch. They care about the beer they serve and are super friendly. There's a diverse selection of stuff you can't find elsewhere and they'll help you find something you love. It seems like they're non-stop doing amazing fun events.
Did a guided tour ($ 12)
You get 3 small drinks during a guide and a cup afterwards.
Very cool experience with great taste of the decent beer. We can learn from the history and making process, etc.
It is a good tour, and it seems that it is possible to go to the rain in time. Goose Island has a brewery in Korea, too, but its first start is in Chicago!
Great taproom from Goose Island with a unique and rotating beer list. Fun atmosphere and layout. A must for any beer enthusiast.
The staff are very friendly and clearly love what they do. That makes the your experience even better.
I love this place. Went on the tour finally and was more impressed with the beer and the people making the various beers that I've been drinking for years, cheers!
The brewery tour was informative and entertaining. Out tour guide was awesome and so was the beer! Well worth the minimal cost of the tour. I highly recommend it. But even if you just hang out for a drink, the bar is a great atmosphere.
Awesome tour and beers, Seth Rogen aka Chris was a great tour guy.
10/10 would come again. This was an awesome experience! Our tour guide Eric was awesome! He was extremely funny, but also passionate about sharing his knowledge of the brewery and the process with us.
