We just finished with our wedding and we were working with Lauren W. Lauren was completely amazing! She answered emails promptly, always checked in to make sure we were still satisfied with what we planned, and was incredible helpful with everything up until our big day. The day of, she helped take care of setting out our decorations, linen, and making sure we were still running on time! The staff was amazing and professional. Our bartender Dan kept my wife and I's drinks filled all day long. We had a brunch style wedding with breakfast food and family loved it! We seriously cannot thank Lauren and the Tasty Catering staff enough! Highly recommended.

We recently used Tasty Catering for two family showers. I couldn t have been more impressed. The service they provided was outstanding from our first conversation with Shari to the last detail of the delivery. Tasty was more than accommodating particularly with Covid concerns in providing a variety of boxed lunches. We received multiple compliments on the food and the way it was safely prepared & packaged. I look forward to using Tasty Catering again & will definitely recommend them to friends and family!

We hired Tasty Catering for a party in our home over the weekend. We had 40 adults and 10 children at our event. The food and service was excellent in every way. The pulled pork was OUTSTANDING. We also had chicken breasts, mixed veggies and a spinach salad. It was delivered on time and set up just the way we wanted. This was our third experience with Tasty. We don't even compare prices with other companies anymore. Even if their prices were more than other companies we would still use Tasty Catering. It only costs a little more to go first class and that's what Tasty is...a First Class operation. Don't cut corners, go with Tasty and your guests will all ask "Who did the Catering" which is what many of our guests asked.

BEFORE WEDDING: We are using tasty for our wedding and the food tasting we had here was mind blowing. They just knocked it out of the water! They treated us so well and the food was top notch. They went over the top for us which they definitely didnt have to do. We are so excited to use them for our wedding and I recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer!

AFTER WEDDING: Tasty Catering was the exclusive caterer for our reception venue (the Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club). We initially started working with Lauren and were then transferred to working with Hannah when Lauren left for a different job. The transition was seamless and none of the details were lost. We went through several iterations of our menu and Tasty was very accommodating and worked to find a menu that we loved and that was within our price range. When linens we wanted weren't available, they upgraded our linens for free for the inconvenience. On the day of the wedding, the supervisor Jessica was very attentive and helped to ensure that our guests were fully satisfied. We had a mac and cheese action station and taco bar--everything was delicious and our guests raved about the food. Everyone we interacted with throughout the evening was so attentive and responsive and made our reception a dream come true.

We used Tasty Catering for a baby shower. We were able to be covid safe because they provided boxed lunches that included everything needed in each box. Less handling...safer guests! To my delight the food was delicious and not at all what you would expect in your average sandwich. Their menu has a variety of appealing choices. The unexpected bonus was that clean-up was a breeze.

Tasty Catering is amazing! I have used Tasty Catering for personal events (hosted a football team dinner at my house) to working with them on a professional level at the Community Character Coalition's Carnival Event for the last several years. The food is wonderful, and the service is outstanding. Tasty Catering is second to none! In addition, Tasty Catering does so much for the community - from volunteering at food drives, giving to the Veterans, to collecting Toys for Tots, they are fabulous. I can't say enough about this company who cares about people and the community!

The boxed lunches worked out great. The food was delicious and our guests were very pleased. You thought of every detail regarding the contents of the boxed meal down to a mint and hand wipe. Great communication and customer service. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you!

This was the first time I used Tasty Catering, and I used them for my parents 50th Anniversary Celebration. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them without hesitation. They were incredibly communicative, professional, and easy to deal with. The food was seriously OUTSTANDING, everybody raved about it and set up by them was quick, easy, and flawless. We just had a company Christmas lunch. This is the fourth time we have used Tasty Catering for a company event and each time is better than the last. Our employees rave about the food. The food is delicious and the service is so very pleasant whether it is just the driver or on-site help. I wish there were more stars to check.

Tasty Catering is awesome. I used them for my wedding at the Danada House. I worked with Lauren most of the time, but since she could not be my catering manager for the day of, I worked with Michelle close to the end of the planning and on the day of. Both women were great. Very responsive to any questions I had, and made sure our day ran smoothly. The staff too was fantastic. Plus the food was delicious. I would highly recommend them. The Tasty Catering team was amazing to work with from start to finish! After selecting our wedding venue, Loft 21, we met with Tasty Catering to see what kind of menu we could dream up together. They had so many menu items to choose from so we were invited into a tasting. The tasting helped narrow down what we (and our moms) liked and what items worked well together. They also were helpful in meeting dietary needs, which was important as we wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of and well-fed. Food was very important to us and we had plenty of it!

Some of the menu items we (and our guests) enjoyed were: Mini tinga tacos, pear & brie quesadillas, beef tenderloin, and Prosecco chicken. And the most popular item of the evening was the charcuterie board table centerpiece we dreamt up and Tasty made a reality. It was a focal point of guest tables and gave them something to enjoy during speeches. We also ended the night with their authentic Tasty Dawg cart and That s Caring cookies (a favor that gave back).

The evening of the event went flawlessly. the chefs and entire staff worked so hard in making sure that our vision became a reality. They were courteous and made sure everyone was treated like royalty. Thank you to the entire Tasty Catering team for going above and beyond to make our wedding a night we will never forget.

Every year for teacher appreciation day our district orders a delicious breakfast buffet from Tasty! It's always one of my favorite days of the year! The yogurt parfait is my favorite!

Jessica is an absolute pleasure to have working for you.. She is very friendly and their cleanliness is outstanding the food is amazing.. they are the greatest catering company that I've encountered in this industry!!!

We had a family reunion of over 170 guests and they did a stellar job! We had extra tents and tables set up, porto-let, everything top notch and they were right on time. Thorough job with the food and the clean up. Set up was on time and they worked very hard. Zero complaints.

I order the individual boxed lunches from Tasty Catering for our Corporate in-office meetings. The individual lunches work out great for our Microsoft Teams meetings keeping us safe and socially distanced. The selections are great and the food is always fresh and "Tasty" !

Tasty Catering was the perfect complement to our wedding at Ignite Glass Studios. After interviewing multiple caterers, they were the only ones flexible enough to do something a little more casual like we wanted. They took the theme of an upscale BBQ and were able to grill made to order chicken, salmon, and smoked brisket for our guests. Everyone raved about the mac and cheese. The entire team was incredible - especially Nikki and Hannah who were both pleasures to work with. The staff the day of were friendly and professional. Everything was executed flawlessly. I can't thank and recommend them enough!

My sons wedding was Saturday Nov 16th. The whole thing was amazing. Thanks to Jessica and her team. Every table was attended to. I dont know how they pulled it off but they did it. Our catered meal arrived on time, was hot and ready to serve. Plenty of food and it tasted great.

Placed a large order for Christmas party and was told to pick up on December 20 at 4:30 PM. Arrived at the Schaumburg location for the order and they knew nothing about it. They informed me they fired the sales person Who had taken my order and she didn t put it through. They did promise to have it on the 21st at 330PM and it arrived on time. One platter of cream spinach was just all cream. Company does not return phone calls, cannot get my money back for the platter, do not recommend this company highly unreliable . Left three phone messages for Greg who I presume is the owner.

I highly recommend Tasty Catering! They are just plain awesome! I have used them for my company s events numerous times in the past 2 years. They are amazing! The food is great at any budget and they have a ton of variety. Obviously the more you spend, the better tasting the food will be, but the lower costing items are still good. Some of our events had a very small budget and TC was still able to accommodate us. Both our employees and customers alike enjoy their food.

Not only do they have a large variety of food, but they have numerous table and utensil set-ups/upgrades. We host a large customer event every year and we choose to upgrade to the Upscale Presentation to make our event more formal and professional. They offer so many different styles, colors, designs, etc. It s a great touch that everyone seems to really enjoy and appreciate.

The service, both in office and delivery/set up are amazing! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They are always in constant contact with us and available at any time with questions, concerns or issues. Sometimes, yes, we can get a little needy and we need to order more things on the fly and TC always pulls through! Not once have we been unsatisfied, not once have they given us attitude or have been rude. I recently placed an order for a 30-Day testing session. I placed my order on the Friday before the event and received all my quotes by the end of that day! It didn t matter that I had placed my order so late, they were able to accommodate our request. The staff is fast and efficient! Also, I did not have time to sit and go over what foods we d like, so I just gave them my budget and they put together a very satisfying menu. We are only on day 2 of the testing session and we already have numerous compliments on the catering.

They really are an amazing catering company. I just love them. They're number 1 priority is to satisfy their customers and they really do! You can tell that just from the first call you make. They are absolutely terrific!

Their staff is professional, friendly, and polite to our guests, and they always go above and beyond to help us keep the garbage bins empty and the drink coolers full. Our event is attended by almost 1,000 people, and Tasty Catering handles the crowd with ease - they never run out of food and it's always served hot. In terms of event preparations, booking Tasty Catering is such an easy process. They work with you to determine all of your needs, and they are so easy to contact with questions or changes. I strongly recommend them - you won't regret it!

I was on the fence about posting a review but felt others needed to be aware of our experience whether it be good or bad.

I will say the food was good. The tasting worked out well. The office personnel were nice, while some email responses were slow at times.

Onto the reception, there were some disappointments. Tasting Catering is a preferred vendor for Oak Brook Bath and Tennis so we decided to go with them since they are familiar with the venue and layout.

We had ordered pasta with Vodka Sauce since many guests were sensitive to red sauce. While the owner assured me it was vodka sauce, many guests at the wedding had stated it was definitely red sauce. There is a distinct different in taste, texture and color between the two. Not sure how there could be confusion.

The 2nd issue was major. My now wife had created a specialty drink for the guests which was posted at the bar to try. I and a bunch of other guests had noticed the posted drink sign kept "falling over". So I would stand it back up whenever I saw it face down. Come to find out the bartender did not want to make the drink so he would place the sign face down so people did not see it. He would also tell the guests he ran out of ingredients to make the drink. I heard this from many guests the next morning. How do you have the nerve to do something like that?!

After discussing with their ownership, we were credited a certain amount for the inconvenience and apparently the bartender was fired for his actions.

This review is not to bash tasty catering as I feel the ownership did what they could to make things right. This is just to share and make others aware of our experience using this company.

If you're vegetarian, sorry, you're getting bad food. They don't understand anything about vegetarians! They just throw mushy tofu in.
I love tofu... but they generally don't make it right. Tofu isn't nice when it's mushy!
Even rice needs SOME kind of seasoning or flavor. To be fair, usually they do season it and put in spices. But I've had the blandest of bland rice from tasty catering!

I thought Tasty Catering did a great job with the food at my kids' B'Nai Mitzvah. They made adjustments to my menu several times and altered the flavors to accommodate our requests. Customer service before during and after the event was perfect and I'd 100% use them again!!

Due to health and safety concerns regarding Covid-19, we used Tasty Catering's boxed lunches for a baby shower. Food was excellent! There was one guest that was lactose intolerant - they worked with us to provide a dairy free lunch. Will definitely use Tasty Catering again!

My company has a picnic at our office every summer and we always use Tasty Catering to grill for us. With our office being closed for the last few months I decided that I didn't want to wait until next summer so I ordered the BBQ in a box for an outdoor family party. Their hamburgers and hot dogs are simply the best and I'm glad I didn't miss out on them. I'm looking forward to my next Tasty meal!

Tasty provided the food and linens for our wedding on 7/1/17. They were amazing and went over and above at every available opportunity. Great food, great service and appreciated the assistance with quantities and recommendations for my guests. Favorites were the Angus beef sliders and the meatballs!

Due to COVID-19, my husband and I had to cancel our original reception plans with Tasty Catering. However, I had spent months planning and dreaming of the wedding we originally planned where Tasty Catering would be our caterer. They were so professional and went above and beyond from the moment we started working with them to the devastating moment that our wedding plans were hindered. I worked with Carolyn and she provided exceptional service and follow-up. Our food tasting was a dream and set up so well. They truly make you comfortable and work with your needs, preferences and budget through the whole process. Their dishes are very delicious, they provide so many wonderful options and their presentation is superb! Would recommend.

Our wedding was September 05, 2020. After an initial venue booking fell through due to COVID-19, (and the loss of the venue deposit) we were left trying to put so many details for our wedding back together from scratch. We secured another venue, worked with COVID 19 restrictions from a guest list perspective. And, began a catering search. Tasty Catering stood out among several catering companies I reached out to. They were responsive from the initial contact. Hannah (our coordinator) was a 5 out of 5 in terms of follow up, understanding our needs, cooperative with asks, offering of solutions, etc.. Hannah and the Banquet Captain, Tere, met on site with my venue wedding coordinator and me so make sure there was a plan for the day ahead of time. Then the day of our wedding, Tere and her team were OFF the charts in terms of service and experience delivery! They were so great at anticipating needs, and executing FLAWLESSLY! Several of our guests commented about the team and their professionalism, and commitment to delivering 5 star guest experience! The food was exactly as we experienced in our tasting, and many guests commented on it being some of the best food they had experienced at a wedding reception! We did a buffet meal, and every COVID protection that could be taken from the team plating the meals for guests to clear plastic barriers to protect the integrity of the food. Thank you Tasty Catering for being a part of our day! You exceeded our expectations in every way! Tasty Catering will be our caterer of choice!

I used Tasty Catering for a corporate picnic. They did a wonderful job. Great company with great values. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Very friendly, and Lauren was awesome to work with.

We recently used Tasty Catering to cater box lunches for my niece s bridal shower and it was absolutely perfect! We weren t sure what style food to serve at the shower, but box lunches were the perfect solution in our effort to keep everyone safe. Individual meals delivered to the backyard for all to enjoy! Bonus, we were able to meet all the guests dietary requirements. I am vegetarian and loved the Caprese sandwich. All the guests loved their lunch. The sandwich/wrap along with chips, a side and a cookie was more than enough so no appetizers needed. Thank you Tasty AGAIN for delicious food and efficient service all while considering the safety of others. You never disappoint!

Our company used Tasty Catering for our Caregiver event recently and we has the most amazing customer service. Jesse and Jon were so attentive and very friendly. Our event was in the evening and ended about 9pm so you would have thought at that hour the staff would be agitated having to work at that hour but that was not the case at all. They were both super friendly and so attentive. You should be pleased to have them both a part of your team. We really appreciate all they did to make our experience enjoyable without any worry.
