Been meaning to try this place for years. Glad we finally did it. Four cheese pizza with pepperoni is excellent. Spicy italian sausage sub is one of the best I've had and I don't usually like spicy stuff. We'll be back again. And again. And again. It will take a long time to try their extensive menu.
Update - the wings are VERY good.

Went here for a bills game. Food was great.... for he most part. They gave us the wrong order and when we asked for it to be fixed, they refried the wings we were given and gave them back burnt.. when they were at fault. The manager? Is quite rude. She was not nice nor apologized for the incident. Then when we went to pay for more blue cheese- we were rejected for not spending at least $5. I will not be returning here again due to the lack of courtesy. The servers were great and the rest of the staff- but the manager or owner (I'm not sure who she was) has made my decision easy to not return. And we are a very easy going family-- good luck.

They get 2 stars because they good customer service and are probably family owned. Beyond that, the food is just disappointing and overpriced. I got a half sheet pizza and 10 wings, and somehow that cost $32. The wings tasted like they were walmart quality (though there were a lot of drums), and they'd been smothered in Frank's hot sauce. The pizza is just not impressive. Marginally better than little ceasars, but I'd say papa johns/pizza hut provide better quality, and certainly top their 'supreme' version with more ingredients. I've given them multiple chances to improve, and think I'm done. Besides...the Buffalo Bills suck.

Being a native of Buffalo, Ny I know my chicken wings. I relocated to Charlotte and heard of this restaurant. I was skeptical but gave it a shot. The first visit was in November. It was around 7-8 at night. We ordered spicy garlic Parmesan from the pit. The price was steep, $13.99 for 10 wings but again I was giving them a chance. The wings came out and they were LARGE . So I said ok. They looked and smelled delicious. I ate them and they were great. Went back in December for pizza and wings, again it was great. My husband and I went a few days ago/last week. They were AWFUL!!! First and foremost they were TINY, they were dry (barely any sauce at all) and dried out. Tasted like straight charcoal. I go up to the counter and tell the lady I m assuming she was either the owner or the daughter of the owner. She proceeds to tell me that s how they re supposed to be after I ve already told her that A) I m from Buffalo and B) I ve had the same exact wings from their restaurant. I even showed her a picture of the wings I had the prior two times to which she replies they look the same. Are you kidding me!? How!? She proceeds to tell me that putting them to char on the grill melts all the sauce into the wing. The first two times the wings were wet not charcoal briguettes! I said so can you explain to me why the wings had sauce the first two times? Did they make a mistake the first two times or this time? She wouldn t answer me. Needless to say I will never eat here again. We drove from Harrisburg to Huntersville (25 minutes) to eat there. I ve told numerous people about the restaurant. I think I even posted the original visits wings on my social media. Her customer service was awful! Especially when you re paying $30 for a 9 pie, we wings and 5 garlic knots! I told the entire service department at Hendrick Lexus Northlake that the food had gone down hill. Had she said I m sorry and corrected the wings this would have never escalated to this point!

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered a 12 inch steak and cheese a basket of fries and a drink.. Came to 29 bucks.. The sandwich was flavorless... I mean FLAVORLESS...barely any meat at all. The fries tasted like they were fried in a batch of old oil. Definitely not a 30 dollar lunch.. I certainly won't be back after that experience... The place is just nasty!!

The picture says it all. Absolutley disgusting would not recommend this for my dog. I don't get how you could serve something like this. It's all burnt to a crisp. There's way too much cheese and no sauce at all. Which wouldn't be a terrible thing if the cheese didn't tast burnt. Your better off going to Papa John's across the street. Won't be great either but at least it will be edible.

It only gets one star because I can not give zero. The food was alright if burnt was good, but the pizza was black on the bottom and the wings were from the "pit" and were completely black, also could not taste the flavor I wanted which was fire hot. The service was terrible the lady who took my order was friendly, but once me and my two children sat down all I heard was yelling and screaming, and a lot of cussing. I do not think I will ever go back to Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria in my lifetime.

I have a gluten allergy and the staff was very helpful with making sure I wouldn't get any food that would make me sick. My boyfriend loves the wings because they remind him of a place from his childhood that is now closed.

I'm from Buffallo and always on the lookout for good Buffalo eats in the area, so when I saw this place was only a couple miles from where we were spending our day I was excited. My excitement was short lived. When we walked in the door it was evident we didn't know whether to seat ourselves or not but the emplyees hovering around didn't bother to guide us so we sat down. No paper menus are provided so we had to take turns going up to the menu at the window (we have two small children) in order to decide what we wanted. After a normal wait time my chicken finger sub arrives and the "waitor" (read:kid who could care less if we were set or had everything) plops it down and walks away. No comment about where my husbands meal may be. My daughter and I shared my sub and finished it and we still sat patiently awaiting my husband's food. We waited about 15 minutes after we had FINISHED our meal to go ask where my husbands was. I was told it would be another 3-4 minutes "stromboli takes a long time". Irritated, but remaining polite I sat back down and we waited nearly another 10 minutes before the stromboli arrived at which point we asked for a to-go box. My husband complained to whom I believe was the owner on the way out and was told a pilot light went out. When he asked why we weren't informed of that or why they didn't just make the sub when the stromboli would be ready he was told, with an attitude, "things like this happen". I have a restuarant management degree and have both cooked and waited tables at multiple restaurants and while yes, things do happen, that doesn't make your customer unimportant. For one, she had the oppurtunity to let us know there was a setback when we ordered, then again when I asked where his food was, but we were just expected to be ok with having to wait 30 minutes between the arrival of meals with no explanation. Then when we complain we recieved excuses but never once an apology, which is all we were looking for. Then when we went to pull out of our parking spot we bavked up and stopped to put the care into driveand pull out and one of their delivery drivers pulled in front of us to get our spot before we could pull out. The food was ok, not by far the best representation of Buffalo fare in the greater Charlotte area (check out tavern on the tracks if you want an awesome Buffalo style meal! Fish fry to die for)....but mostly the owners make everyone from Buffalo look bad. Oh! And on the way out the door my husband asked her "so this is how you do buisness?" And was met with the response "well people like you come back". Nope, sorry. We will certainly not be back.

Best pizza in Charlotte hands down. After many disappointing attempts at pizza places all over town we finally found ToB and will ONLY go there from now on for pizza, wings & subs. I'm sure the other food is great, but I can never say no to pizza and crispy wings, yes crispy, the correct way to serve & eat wings. The food is delicious the staff is always super friendly. There is sometimes a bit of a wait, but I chalk that up to them being busy bc their food is so awesome. Can't be mad at that. Will continue to be loyal patrons of ToB.

I've lived outside of Buffalo for my entire childhood and most of my adult life. After a year of searching the Charlotte area, I can say with relative confidence that this place is one of the few that live up to its namesake. Wings easily the rival of Duff's or the Anchor Bar. Pizza on the same level as Santora's or Bella. Poutine like it came over the Peace Bridge. Fried dough with echoes of the Erie County Fair. Beef on Weck I'm sure I tasted before in East Aurora or Elmwood.

All of this is to say that Taste of Buffalo is the real deal: an authentic Buffalo eatery. Just be sure to ask for the margherita pepperoni. And grab some Sahlen's and Weber's while you're at it.

This is my favorite pizza place in the city. I don't know what it is about their pizza, but it just tastes so delicious! The staff members have always been friendly when we eat there and we never have to wait long to get our food. I think this is one of those hidden gems in the Huntersville area that doesn't get enough recognition. If you like pizza, definitely give Taste of Buffalo a shot!

We discovered this place a couple months ago, and it quickly became our favorite pizza spot, that is until now. They messed up our order, so I called to let them know of the mistake and so I could get the correct order. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, they proceeded to argue with me, trying to tell me I ordered my own food wrong. I understand working in customer service can be frustrating at times, but when you as a business make a mistake, it should be rectified. We will never eat at this place again. The people running this place need a severe lesson in customer service.
