Being a native of Buffalo, Ny I know my chicken wings. I relocated to Charlotte and heard of this restaurant. I was skeptical but gave it a shot. The first visit was in November. It was around 7-8 at night. We ordered spicy garlic Parmesan from the pit. The price was steep, $13.99 for 10 wings but again I was giving them a chance. The wings came out and they were LARGE . So I said ok. They looked and smelled delicious. I ate them and they were great. Went back in December for pizza and wings, again it was great. My husband and I went a few days ago/last week. They were AWFUL!!! First and foremost they were TINY, they were dry (barely any sauce at all) and dried out. Tasted like straight charcoal. I go up to the counter and tell the lady I m assuming she was either the owner or the daughter of the owner. She proceeds to tell me that s how they re supposed to be after I ve already told her that A) I m from Buffalo and B) I ve had the same exact wings from their restaurant. I even showed her a picture of the wings I had the prior two times to which she replies they look the same. Are you kidding me!? How!? She proceeds to tell me that putting them to char on the grill melts all the sauce into the wing. The first two times the wings were wet not charcoal briguettes! I said so can you explain to me why the wings had sauce the first two times? Did they make a mistake the first two times or this time? She wouldn t answer me. Needless to say I will never eat here again. We drove from Harrisburg to Huntersville (25 minutes) to eat there. I ve told numerous people about the restaurant. I think I even posted the original visits wings on my social media. Her customer service was awful! Especially when you re paying $30 for a 9 pie, we wings and 5 garlic knots! I told the entire service department at Hendrick Lexus Northlake that the food had gone down hill. Had she said I m sorry and corrected the wings this would have never escalated to this point!
