Have seen many shows there and at times the sound can be a bit muddied. Haven t had a truly bad experience there yet and I can t imagine ever having one bad enough that I wouldn t go back.
Love the new look. The seats are big lots of leg room. Went To WWE RAW TLC PPV EVENT ... Too Sweet !
My preferred venue for larger scale music events. Definitely not made for acoustics but it is vastly superior to US Bank Stadium and the Xcel Energy center.
Been to a few games over the years same old long lines over expensive food items but if it weren't for the love of sports I have to give it a 3 star due to the need to re update the arena in general and kind of sick and tired of them saying it's a rebuild year and the wolves haven't been decent since 2004
Great store once you get your REDcard. Discounts on groceries, clothing, medication with CVS pharmacy. Linked to your Drivers License plus 5 passwords that protects your card from theft.
It's a great place to go. It was even clean! Great people to help you figure out where you parked.
The biggest down fall that I had was trying to find a bathroom before your let in the arena. Not many knowledgeable people on that one.
Friendly staff, beautiful remodel, better acoustics
My wife and I went to a Timberwolves game and had a great time. We got free tickets from Hyvee.
Handles huge crowds very well. As a female, bathroom lines can be terrible at some places but the Target center has an amazing layout that allows the lines to move quickly! Their staff is very helpful for those that have never been there before. Getting out at the end of events goes quickly as well! Everything was very clean also. Over all great experience!!
Attended the Garth Brooks concert on Sunday, 11/9. The large screen for those of us in the nose bleed seats was blocked by the row of lights so it was very difficult to see the screen. I would hope the Target Center will change this for the upcoming concerts this weekend. Disappointing performance. Garth was hoarse, very winded and could not hit his notes. It is apparent with Garth's age that he can not perform 6 concerts in 4 days. His ego got the best of him and unfortunately left the house with a lot of disappointment!
The remodel is fantastic! Place looks and feels so much better than before, great food options and the jumbo screen above the court is way better, awesome! We had a great time, we went to the Twolves game against the Jazz, Ricky Rubio's return, and it was a blast!
Really appreciated the seat upgrade when there were empty seats
Had an awesome evening enjoying Keith Urban in concert. One of the best concerts in my opinion. Had a little bit of a difficult situation in our seats as we discovered that they were double-issued. After going to Guest Services and trying to get our situation rectified a couple of times, we ended up with some awesome seats with s great view of the stage. It was great. The staff was helpful, apologetic and curtious. Excellent time. Thank you.
Hard to find a bad seat, love watching our Lynx and TWolves. Expensive concessions.
The vendors and security personnel were extremely friendly and helpful
Will be higher rated when the Timberwolves are better.....
United Way Action Day was held here August 9th. A great location for it.
Food was pricey, but very good! And a decent portion
Disturbed was magnificent! I still hate those escalators that back-up...scary! Had usual $5 h2o out of bottle. Flash Seats worked like a charm. I'd do that again!
A KEEP AMERICA GREAT RALLY IS BEING HELD HERE...I AM SO HAPPY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT IN SUPPORT OF OUR GREAT LEADER DONALD TRUMP....
Because I work there and I enjoy the place. They have wonderful events there. And customers are happy when they are there, even with their families.
Decent arena but can definitely tell it's a little dated. Food selection not great. Arena looked a little old. Good environment for game high.
Saw Paul McCartney that night, what more is there to say?
Really enjoy the new experience after the renovation. Good seats, not a bad view anywhere.
Ok, they are moving towards ordering on an over-sized tablet. Not a lot of help from staff. The person who helped was not clearly identified. Like wear a neon cap or something. Same complaint. Food cold or room temp. Certainly not worth the price. Any upgrades or improvements are missed on me. Can someone please explain why water used to wash hands is cold?
What a joke! Waited in line just to get in the damn building for over 20 miinutes. Way to drop the ball people! Might make it to our seats by the last match. Xcel center was 150% better.
Great place to catch a game! Best arena in Minnesota.
Easy access. Security well organized, easy parking.
Very easy venue (Elton John). Parking was close by, lots of food and drink choices, ushers were extremely helpful,
To many pyrotechnic's for a small place. Trouble beathing. Good concert. Handicap seating?
Great place to visit. Everything was clean and all the workers were very nice and respectful.
I love the target center wish the drinks were just a little cheaper...lol
I love Target Center. There are some really cool things to see here. From MN Lynx and MN Timberwolves games to concerts from the biggest names in music.
The line to get in was two and a half blocks long. But the lines for food were even worse
What does $150 Million get you?
Well first, yes $150 million was what was spent to update the Target Center with the City of Minneapolis picking up most of the tab! So, what does that kind of money get you? Well, pretty much just a very expensive facelift.
Sure, the new facade of Target Center looks a whole lot better than its original skin and that new front entry is appealing to the eye and the remodeled interior certainly looks much better since the last time I was at this building for hockey while the X was being built. But, since I'm not a basketball fan AT ALL, the only thing that would cause me to step foot inside would be for a concert of some kind. And, that's exactly what got me inside!
Yes, Target Center now looks all pretty inside and out, but for those of us who are concert goers, it would have been nice if some of that $150 million was used for better acoustics during concerts. There is still a huge echo effect and it's not all that pleasing to the ears.
The remodel might have been what the timber pups and Lynx were desperately in need of, but I think I'll stick to concerts at the X.
#knowbeforeyougo
Easy to navigate for a rookie. We dont go to downtown Minneapolis at all but we made to the Timberwolves game. 34 dollars for three hotdogs and three cokes is a little steep. Traffic wasn't too bad for a Saturday night either. We had fun!
Love the new exterior enhanced Target Center. The price of refreshments is ludicrous. Stadium is top notch for sports and music events.
Would have gotten 5 stars had the video gotten on the jumbo screen
The renovation is complete and it looks like a new stadium. Excellent technology, many different types of food and beverages. The best thing is the affordability of food for families. I was very impressed.
Great staff, atmosphere and food!!
Thank you Target Center!!
Haven't been to a game yet but from wat i have seen its huge and very nice looking
Amazing show five finger death punch and breaking Benjamin rocked
Lodge box seats great view food and drink included . Server was pleasant and attentive. The food was minimal in quality and taste.
The remodel this year has been great, really opened it up and the new seats are very comfortable.
Went twice this weekend..... section 124 and 212.... great seats
