Tangiers holds home to authentic middle eastern cuisine, and is by leaps and bounds the best stop for Falafel, Gyros, and don t forget their Baba Ganoush.

Man if you are not getting food from here you are messing up and missing out! From the chicken curry to the beef falafel wrap which is my personal fave and their falafel is PERFECT!!!! My fave place for additional items like Aleppo pepper and European chocolate and healthier choice foods along with fresh veggies! The owners and staff are so unbelievably genuinely nice!
Best Lamb Gyros! Awesome selection of DELICIOUS vegan options!! This family owned establishment is one of the best in the Hartford area! Aside from a yummy selection of international cuisine, they have a small grocery like section that has many more food/snack selection. The wait time is always short and sweet & cashing out, I always look forward to coming back again! One of my favorites in the area, and always a pleasure supporting our local small businesses!
The food is soooo fresh and delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The variety is incredible.
Tangiers is a market that has middle eastern/Mediterranean staples. From hummus to grape leaves, Tangier has it all. The highlight of this market is the grill located in the back of the market. The lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The falafel is my favorite item on the menu. So flavorful you would forget it was vegetarian. The sandwiches are $8 but worth every penny.
Its always a delight to go there the food its absolutly delicious and the staff its super friendly
Best falafel and lamb gyro around! But really everything is great here and you can get some specialty grocery items as well. It's family run and they are always super friendly. Highly recommend
One of my favorite places to grab a quick meal. I was never into falafel until I tried theirs earlier this year, and that turned into a weekly event. Grab some food and go sit in Elizabeth Park. Get your tahini on the side. The guys who own/run the place are about as efficient as you can get, and very kind.
I have dreams about their lamb gyro. Whenever I'm back in town this is always on my list of places that I MUST go. If you're in need of lunch, you cannot go wrong with their gyro.
They do good baked goods to. BUT THE GYRO.
I want another one.
Fantastic specialty grocery store with a food grille that serves frest cooked food. Love this place and often drive out of my way for lunch!
