Wonderful Moroccan restaurant in Charlestown. The short rib Tangine is definitely worth trying.

Chicken wings and spicy fries are great! The food is on expensive side! Hookah service was just mediocre.

The waiter was nice, this is about it, something fishy about adding 18% tip for two people, down right illegal, food stinks, way over priced. I never imagined hookah any where at $50. Live and learns, never again, boneless ribs look and taste like cat food, with the same portions as cat can food, no kidding. Never ever again

Our first experience at Tangierino was fantastic. Recently renovated, the restaurant feels romantic, warm and, without trying sound hyperbolic, sexy. The staff were very welcoming, and absolutely made us feel very special. I can't say enough about the hospitality we received.

The menu presents an array of Morrocan dishes, and the cocktails and wine selection is lovely. I enjoyed the Morrocan mojito (loved it) and mango-infused margarita. For starter we had the hummas plate served with warm pita bread, which was very nice.

We ordered to main dishes and shared them, a good choice for sure. Our server selected a perfect red wine and delivered a perfect pairing for our main course. The first main course was lamb royal over a bed of seasoned chickpeas and couscous with rich carrots and potatoes with a subtle sweetness. It was wonderful, and I will be dreaming about it for days.

We also enjoyed a lovely short rib dish also served with couscous. The best was the tender meat sweetened subtlety with a dried plum or raisin of some kind. It was tender and... I couldn't stop eating it.

We finished the evening in the lounge downstairs - hookah cave. Loved it. Atmosphere was beautiful, cocktails on point. It was a very nice conclusion to our evening.

Nice restaurant upstairs and belly dancer, there is a hookah bar downstairs and a bar. Be prepared to spend at least 100 bucks

Tangerinos was the most amazing experience, they had great staff, amazing food and even better hookah! We were a party of 12 and our server was on time with everything and gave us an awesome experience for our first time there, for all my hookah smokers looking for a good lounge to enjoy yourself and hookah... this is it!

Literally walked in and got the rudest service of rejection. No Hi, hello, unfortunately we won t be able to let you in due to your attire.

The guy with the glasses at the bottom of the stairs had the audacity to walk up the stairs and point to a sign in the dark saying Business Casual. What poor customer service.

Great location and good music. However, very overpriced. My husband and I paid $100 for 1 hookah and 2 small drinks. The chairs were uncomfortable so we stayed about 2 hours and left. Overall, this lounge is ok but the prices are ridiculous.

This place was awesome it had everything you need belly dancer , hookah, food drinks and great staffs with their services from our waitress sprema she was on top and made us very comfortable.

One of the friendliest places I have ever been to. Amazing customer service, staff go out there way to make you feel warm and welcome. Absolutely blown away by the place.

excellent restaurant, the food, the decor and service are on point, we went to celebrate a special occasion and it was the right spot for us! for drinks I really enjoyed the French kiss cocktails my partner had the moroccan mojito and that was delicious too, we both shared the tuna tartare an amazing 4 layers of goodness, guacamoli ,mango diced cucumber salad and Freas tune served with wontons, then I got to try the eggplant tower and that taste like a beautiful symphony in my mouth two layers of lightly crusted eggplant stuffed with a creamy cheese , herbs, dried apricots, figs and toped with a heart marinara sauce, my partner got the salmon tanginess and was delicious too, they also had a belly dancing show, a drummer and a samba dancer which made our celebration complete!

Hookah bar manager needs a replacement. Cant even reach the hookah stand

Really great spot to chill out and relax, wonderful cigar selection and service was great. Everyone was kind and we enjoyed some cold beer and tasty cigars.

Nice ambience and good food, but on the expensive side. The hookah lounge is crowded on weekends and they make multiple groups of people sit together. The belly dancing is okay!

Always a great time at Tangierinos. The food was excellent as always, and the ambience is like no other place in Boston. The lounge is also a must for any cigar and hookah aficionado! Perfect place for celebrating special occasions or just hanging out amongst friends!

This place is so beautiful, we went there yesterday for dinner the food was awesome, the server explained to us the menu and recommended the couscous with veggies and a lamb shank my friend had the eggplant tower a savory eggplant dish stacked eggplants stuffed with tomato sauce, blue cheese and veggies then topped with a hearty red sauce, we had a bottle of wine and everything was great, decor, food and service Maria was very nice and knows her menus well and gave us a great service, we then went downstairs after dinner we sit in the cave had a blue mist hookah with milk in the base, and a fish bowl to share with gummy bears cherries it was sweet and bit sour just delicious , the belly dancing show was dope! I love this place and will be coming here again!

It's super sad place. The floor manager tells you on your face right after you enter the place that you need to spend $40 every hour to be seated. I found it offensive. Also the prices were super high. The much hyped belly dance was only for 10 mins in total for the entire 4 hours we spent there

Took 45 min to get drinks when we had a table at the hookah bar, music was all over the place, and the staff was not friendly... spent $50 on a steak and it was over cooked with to much fat at the restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Service was horrible . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Manager was very rude as well. Not visiting ever again.

Valet guy is rude doesn t have manners to talk to customers.

Very poor service, reservation was wrong but they made accommodation. When we were asked about the meals we said that four of eight dinners were very poor quality and were told they would adjust the bill. They did not. We had to speak with another manager. Downstairs we were shown past our reserved table to be squeezed into a very uncomfortable area and had to plead again to gat seated properly for hookahs and drinks. Then our bill included drinks that we ordered but never received.
Other that all that, it was a good night.
Won't be back.

Awesome food and drinks. Make sure you visit the Hukkah bar downstairs as well. The small dishes, tapas style, in the downstairs menu offer a nice Mediterranean flair of foods that go well with the bar setting. You can continue eating as the night goes without getting tired early as you would with a full entree. The elegance and consistency of taste at this place makes puts it at the top of my list.

Cute fusion French-Moroccan restaurant just blocks from Bunker Hill. Service was friendly but a bit slow (esp for a Sunday night) but the food was excellent! I'd happily visit again but be mindful that the service may take a while.

Given this place 3 stars because of my last visit.

Since being in Boston for about 6 weeks I have come here a total of around 4 times. The last time I went my mate and I ordered regular tap water, the waitress came back with a bottle of water, opened it and poured it into our glasses before we even noticed; then charged us for the bottle because it was opened and poured.

We were also told about a $45 minimum spend on the weekends which we were not aware of and then she replied "it is on the website" .... I'm sorry, if we are physically going into a restaurant/hookah bar set up isn't that something that should be physically displayed for all customers to see right at the door?

We had previously been there the last weekend and nobody mentioned that to us.

It is a great place to hang out and smoke tobacco just be aware of sprung charges for that little extra pocketed cash.

It s so expensive and their hookah it s so bad I don t recommend they will stole your money.

What a gem! best cigar bar in town, how come it has been here for over 20 years and I had no clue!, the air make up system is by far the best I ve seen, some clients picked up the place to meet and boy we had a blast!
the food, the drinks THE CIGAR SELECTION,, they had live music on Wednesday, we also spotted fort pierce just chilling playing chest some of his friends, come one this joint is the real deal, my new place to close deals!

We went in as soon as it opened. It was empty but beautiful and comfortable. The owner came out and helped us pick out some very smooth and tasty cigars. The bartender was AMAZING and honest and made the drinks the way I asked her. From the service to the kabob I was extremely satisfied. The only thing I wasnt in love with was the falafel. I am vegan so I am picky with my falafel but the vegan options were great. My sister and husband loved the chicken kabob.

Ventilation not up to the task. You eyes will burn from the smoke if you show up when they are at 70% capacity

Extremely extremely overpriced, very poor and slow service, small portions. Great environment an ambiance.

This place is different and well worth it. From the scented handwashing before the meal to the mint tea afterwards, a different dining experience is on offer. The food is varied, wonderfully cooked and with all the flavours one could hope for. Excellent! And we didn't get to see the belly dancer either!

Music is super loud, you can t hear the person next to you... Staff need to be more flexible/accommodating! They don t want you to change tables or lower the music volume! I took the trip based on being excellent resturant and their kitchen is closed out after 10:30! Hookah seems to be over priced at 40$ for mixed flavor! Didn t get a chance to try it! I couldn t stand the loud music!

Cool place. They pay attractive young women to hang out at the bar and talk to you if you come by and talk to them. Definitely worth a visit!

Sweet place to get Hookah and Sheesh. The decor is amazing and you will love the romantic setting.

Great atmosphere and a great time, but service was terrible. All of the tables near us never got served and they ended up leaving. You could tell the hookahs hadn't been cleaned properly and were ordered apple and got licorice. But it still was a decent atmosphere.

We have been to this place a couple times with my husband a couple of years ago. Everything (service, food, etc) was excellent!

I am really impressed by the management of this restaurant. They manage the whole restaurant so well, Service and food is also great.

Still here...And so tempted to write a review because we need something to do in-between the looooong wait for anybody to serve!

It's monday night and I wasn't expecting a full house and live entertainment (even though it says so on the website) but I was expecting better service (there are only 3 tables occupied in the whole place) and servers are nowhere to be found.

Cocktails are OK....Food and decor are average at best....Though if the music is relevant to the Moroccan/ North African region (not sad western EDM) and servers are trained to do what they should be doing....I can see someone coming here for the novelty value of fake tajins...:-)

I am usually not this direct giving feedback but my patience got tested today....

P.s. after making reservation for a birthday dinner....Arriving here and searching for someone in an empty restaurant to help us find a table should have been a signal enough. Our bad!

Took my aunty and sister. We had a really good chill time. Our waitress was nice the hookah was delicious.

Such a disappointment. I loved this place before they remodeled but now it's just a bummer. All the great Moroccan atmosphere that made the space feel cozy and intimate have been replaced with bright lights and boring wood walls. The food was good but it seems all they've done is reduce the portion size while keeping the prices the same. The hookah lounge downstairs is fine and has good service, but the upstairs restaurant might as well be a food court.

Been to this place about 4 times. The hookah is ok. The food is average and priced obnoxiously. The service is AWFUL. The decor and ambiance in the dining area is the best thing this establishment has going for them.

We were a group of 8 and took over a little private space in the restaurant where we all sat around a round table. We shared some AMAZING starters and our main dishes were amazing. The Tuna Tartar was particularly good. The Sangria was nice but 5 pitchers were consumed and none of us had a buzz. And they ran out!

We then moved downstairs to the shisha lounge- and this was great! Amazing ventilation, great waiter from Morocco and top notch cocktails like the mojito!

We will be hitting this spot again!

Food was great but we got menus for Tangierino and the bar next door so it was confusing which menu we should order from. While our server was very nice, we had to ask about one of our apps and service on the whole was slow

Music is annoying, problems with Valee Parking, very pricy place.

Nothing special. Food was mediocre. Inside it's cozy . We Went on a weekday to avoid the usual weekend rush. They had a party of 10 they were more concerned with so we had to wait a while for the food , the missed order , the check etc. Wouldn't go again.

Decent place for Moroccan food. The hummus and cold plates are truly amazing and authentic - I would recommend the duck prosciutto. Good beer selections though the Lebanese ones are no longer served. The lamb dishes are good and fresh but be careful with the tagines: they are very sweet.

A bit confused with the new Spanish menu and dish selection, it almost seems like the place has lost some of its identity since the renovation, but it's also nice to have more options. Our cous-cous royale was superb, but still we liked it better the first time we visited, before the renovation. The belly dancer tried, but she wasn't very good... (sorry) Overall my opinion is that the quality of the food is very good, the prices are quite high and the experience/atmosphere is much less unique than it used to be

this is the first time for me in this place , i have really bad experience and i took bad impression ! very disappointed . and extremely overpriced , the prices doesn't make sense at all , i had 2 hookah , 2 cups of Tea and a plate of Appetizers , they charged me 225$ .
