too many people and soso boba. I put soso because it's similar to a lot of other boba shop in Bay area.

Zero for customer service. I love the drinks but they need to hire people with customer service skills .

Gotta hand it to Cupertino, they have all the good milk tea spots and.....Japanese fluffy pancakes??? I thought had to drive all the way up to Frisco for this, Not anymore!! We tried the tea and it was good, but we were really there for the pancakes. We ordered a fruit tea and milk tea with cheese foam. As expected, they were delicious, the only thing I would change is reduce the amount of fruit added in. Felt like I was eating more fruit than drinking tea. The Boba was nice and chewy which is always a plus. We also ordered creme brulee Japanese pancake and tiramisu pancake. The creme brulee was fantastic, sweet and the pancakes we're incredibly light and fluffy. It's legit, and the tiramisu was equally tasty. Slightly salty, but it compliments the pancakes very well, I have no complaints. The prices are reasonable for the dessert you're getting. But great experience and super tasty! Also, the spoon is a freaking cute shovel. How cool is that???

I always get the Ceylon Milk Tea with Tiramisu cream, so addicting!!! And the shovel is also really cute!

Be prepared to wait more than half an hour to get your tea, even if there is only a handful of people who are lining in front of you. Because they are really slow with taking orders and making tea. Such a disaster come in a workday noon.

Got in line for 10 minutes, only to be told at the register that the pancakes will take 45 minutes!!! to make... they should have put up a sign or something so I didnt have to waste my time in line

I never really venture outside of your classic black milk tea with boba, so trying the Royal Ceylon Milk Tea w/ Tiramisu Foam was definitely outside of my comfort zone.

Verdict: Holy amaze-balls! Tiramisu foam? Game changer. The Tiramisu foam has now ruined all other classic milk teas for me.

Great desserts - Teas are fresh and delicious (Didn t expect to use word delicious in describing the taste of tea). Highly recommended

Cheese cream top really delicious! The foam is thick and tasty. Also they have the special cap for that! Will definitely come back. (Line is long)

Very cute and pretty tasty tea. Considering what it replaced (sweet moment) which was aesthetic but just mediocre in terms of drinks, tan cha is much better. I unfortunately was unable to try their pancakes since they aren't available on Tuesdays and even on other days are only available after 5pm. I got their top drink the one with tiramisu foam. The foam was good and the tea was pretty standard. They have cute cups and shovels for the foam/ice cream.

Since it is a new place, there's a line out the door but it moves pretty fast.

Great pass time drinks! Fills your heart and stomach up. Their Seasonal drinks are the best.

Tan-cha and Yifang have become my favorite milk tea stores in the bay area. I'm impressed by the fact that they really add no sugar if you ask for it. Most stores will still add some sugar even if you request no sugar, in order to make the flavor better.

I'd recommend the fruit tea and the tiramisu uji matcha milk tea. Note that this place is popular so prepare for some wait time.

Every time I go to Kura Sushi, the line for this place is out the door.

After waiting for 30 minutes, I was expecting to have something spectacular. It was not. I don't even remember which drinks we ordered. I am not sure why there is such a long wait at this place.

Solid boba but maybe overrated? Perhaps there is a lot of hype and long lines because it is new and because of the location. I don t get fancy with my boba, though. I do like roasted barley milk tea; otherwise, I default to Thai tea or traditional milk tea. My favorite boba place is Tea Era (in Mountain View and Cupertino); amazing roasted barley milk tea.

Long wait time, drinks will take a while to come out. Ordered an Brulee Green Milk Tea with Oreo and it came with NO OREO. If Oreos are too expensive then I suggest taking that off the menu.

I like how Tancha s drinks are very unique and different compare to other boba places. I ordered a royal ceylon milk tea with tiramisu and brulee milk tea with boba. The ceylon tasted delicious and unique since it had tiramisu on top, giving a taste like a dessert. Brulee milk tea was also very good, it also came with one scoop of vanilla ice cream, you can mix the ice cream and the milktea together. The packages is very nice, the cups are hard and strong. Even tho the drinks are tasty, the customer service at Tancha is the reason I give 2 stars. The staffs were not that friendly and kinda rude. I can understand they are trying to limit the customer inside but they should ve said it nicely, instead of making the customers feel like they got kicked out.

My girlfriend and I came around 2 pm, and we were disappointed to find that the pancakes were not being served until after 5 pm! We ordered some boba instead, and found the boba to be pretty tasty. They served the boba with a very fancy cup along with a shovel!
I will come here next time after 5 pm to get those pancakes that we were dying to get this time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the astoundingly good quality of the container used for the drink. The drink itself is good, although its on par and not that much better than other drinks like happy lemon, and both are expectedly a long wait due to their respective popularity.

I can however confidently say that Tan-Cha provides a far better container which is not only convenient, but also elegant and satisfying. Good for straws, or direct sipping, its even convenient for stirring or shaking the drink given how truly airtight it is for a disposable container, such that i'm tempted to reuse it.

I got the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea w/ Tiramisu and it s one of my favorite boba drinks I ve had in the Bay Area! It tasted very rich and creamy and the chocolate accents were a nice surprise.

The only downside of Tan-Cha is that they take very long to make your drink. It was also super crowded when I went, with social distancing not really enforced.

Luckily a visiting friend is always a good excuse to try a new boba place. The line was out the door, which is always a good sign, but also felt like they may have been unprepared for the masses. Honestly the wait wasn't too bad, and we were able to customize everything as we wanted, and thankfully they took my personal cup too. Even with 50% sweet, it was still too sweet for me. My friend agreed with her 25% sweetness. The pearls were a good consistency, but unfortunately they were not serving the japanese souffle pancakes (not sure if that meant they ran out or not). And because it was so crowded inside, it was way too loud for me and my friend (yea, yea, we must be getting old). We took our drinks outside and were on our merry way. Acceptable boba, I'd just come back when the crowds die down.

I placed an order on Ubereats. When I arrived in store, one of the staff told me that my order had already been picked up. She was very rude and reluctant to make the drink. After my friends and I waited there for 10 minutes, she finally started making our order . When we went to get the drink, she warned me she wouldn't re-make the drink next time. I argued with her it's not my fault to lost the order. She gave my order to random people without checking their order number and she gave me an attitude for her own mistakes.

Tea is decently priced, tiramisu foam is delicious. Customer service sucks, rude employees (only interacted with register) , long wait time with no system for COVID. Would not come back any time soon though.

Almost five stars! Everything tastes good and the tea is well made compared to other stores.
However, the lines are very long and they don't take phone or online orders at all, you must appear in person to place your order. Also, no one is practicing social distancing while waiting outside the store.

Cashier s attitude is pretty bad, impatient with customers.

I got brown sugar latte and that was so bad I couldn't take more than a few sips.
We had to wait for 40+ mins to get our drinks after ordering. Many ppl behind us got their drinks first and we got skipped for a long time. And then we got our drinks and I can't believe we waited this long for drink that tastes like it comes from a cheap place.
I'm def never coming back here

Great new boba place! I've enjoyed most drinks I've tried. One other dish worth trying are their souffle pancakes. Not many places have them and they're super fluffy. Wait can be long though. And they only make them after 5pm.

Boba drinks were good, but the wait time for the pancakes was unreal. Over 25 minutes just for pancakes??

This is the only location for tancha in bay area. They are located in nice area right besides boiling point too. The drink is just alright as well, For drinks, I do get either the cheese foam or the avocado drinks. On most of the occasion, they have a very long line, typically it takes half an hour for you to get your drink but on the upside parking is easy.

The only complaint that I have from this place is their service. I do find most of the time, they are rude and not being nice at all to many of the customers. Although I understand they are quite busy, but I don't see a reason to sacrifice the customer service quality for the business. They will scream your number when its done, but often time its not clear at all what they are saying so I would check in and instead they will give me attitude for checking in which confuse me because it is not very convenient for me to keep checking in too. Maybe they can give out buzzer or something and also being nicer to customer.

TL;DR: rude and lied to customers.

Ordered drinks with estimated wait of 20-30MINS in app, but actually was told need 1 hour to complete.
When I asked them to cancel orders, because it s taking way too long for the wait, they lied saying they can t, and told me to call Uber.

So I was charged with cancellation fees. Horrible experience, I rarely publicly post anything negative about a shop/place, but this one indeed was a terrible experience for me, wouldn t come back again.

My friend highly recommended this place and I totally agree with her.
I've never been tried boba tea with cheese form before. Now, it's one of my favorite tea places. I ordered Uji Matcha Work Cheese Foam and Frothy Matcha Pu er Tea. Both them are amazing and high quality.

No straws or spoons? Boba and cheese foam stuck at bottom of cup..Drank most of my tea without tasting boba and cheese foam...

One of the best tea places in the bay area. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. The peach cheezo is one of my favorites and the Uji Green tea with tiramusu foam is delicious. You have to try it at least once!

Good drinks, but the wait is too long. They dont take order online, so we have to wait outside for the order. No social distancing outside of the store when waiting for order, while we had to stay close enough to hear our numbers being called.

Arrived at 2:15pm but they said they can't make most of the drinks on the menu and the cake is only available after 5pm. We ended up having their only available drink and not taste good. Don't bother to come folks.

Today I went to buy milk tea and received the service which made me feel very angry. I saw the girl who checked the visitor's glass of water removed her mask and sniffed her nose, then she also served me with a very uncomfortable and barren attitude. When I got water from number 27 to get 2 glasses of water and could I please give me the bag because of the cold weather and I walked a long distance, when a woman who looked a little older said an uncomfortable attitude Buy 2 glasses of water, I cannot give you a bag. Her throw 2 straws out of my glass very hard

Don't get me wrong, the pancakes are delicious and so are their drinks. They posted the time for when the pancakes are to be made and we were in line for 20 mins at 3pm but when you get to the register they didn't even bother to let the customers know that the chef is not in house yet and won't be here for another hour. Then they tell you you had to line up still?

Really good cream cheese foam and a cool practical convertible lid. Gets really really crowded on weekends. Recommend their top 3 drinks

Pretty decent cream cheese tea. The Ceylon tiramisu cheese tea is super yummy. Definitely get less sugar as the cream is sweet enough. The line is pretty long and even for drinks you need to wait a while. The pancakes are only available after 5 pm except on Tuesday when they are not available at all.

The orange slush green tea is delicious. The wait could be better though.

Everytime I came here, Tan-Chan always had a long line. But never disappoint with their drink, especially cheese foam and tiramisu foam. Tan-chan's foam is the best I ever tried.

I would give negative star if I could. One of the staff was extremely rude and gave me an altitude after they lost my pickup order.

The teas are creative and delicious. I really like their top 1 drink with the foam. The pancakes were also very delicious but they are only available after 5pm. Expect wait.

Great bubble tea (the red jade is the most flavorful milk tea I ve ever had), cute shovel spoon for cheese foam. Ordering system is a bit hectic during COVID: online order pickup is as far away from the door as possible, and only 6 ppl allowed inside the space at once, so after you order in person you wait outside for your drink and someone behind the register screams your order # as loud as they can and you try and dodge in to grab it when there s not too many people). Someone please donate a DMV style ticket system!

The place looks nice by the service is horrible. Zero customer service. The music they play is so loud and the wait is too long for boba drinks and that s just waiting for them to take your order. I wanted to check this spot out since it was near my work but this was my first and last time going here.

Pretty good Japanese fluffy pancakes. I wish they didn't have a cap of how many they had. They're not as good as ones you can get in Japan, but they're pretty good if you just want to get them and not want to make it yourself :)

I'm a big fan of hot coffee or tea drinks all year round, so it was a little disappointing to have to get a cold drink on a cold day. Other than that, this is really good! I got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba... half sugar of course!

Tried to order them on Uber eat but the store messed up and send order to the wrong person and refused to make another one. The store ended up gave nothing and took a large amount of time and patience of me as well as numerous poor Uber drivers. This store sucks. Bad virtues and too much condescension.

Long lines and great boba Tan-Cha is the place to be. The line was barely inside the door and was roughly a 10 minute wait. The boba and tea are great but I can't recommend waiting any longer as their are other options available in the Cupertino area. There is plenty of parking nearby on the streets or in the parking garage. The inside of this location is small and quite loud but it's to be expected in this area.

I was able to try the Super Fruit tea and it was perfect. The tea was brewed perfectly and the drink had the right amount of sweetness. The fruit pieces inside were perfect and tasted sweet. I'm eager to try their other dairy free options.

I will definitely be back if I'm in the area and need a quick tea fix.

Absolutely best place to get milk tea with cheese cream top. The Ceylon milk tea with tiramisu puff cream is the most beautiful drink I ve had in a while. Found this gem in LA and I m just really happy that they opened a new location in the Bay Area!
Pro tip: get the milk tea with 1/4 sugar. The sweetness of the cream balances well with the black tea so you won t need the full sugar level.

Big fan of the cream foam special milk teas! The lid opens up like a sliding window so every sip has some foam and some tea, then easily and securely closed! Brilliant!

Amazing tea and revolutionary tiramisu puff cream with such a unique container and lid. Love the aesthetic as well. One of my favorite milk tea shops!

Only wish they had smaller portion sizes and that the lid was easier to sip from. When the lid is halfway open, I tended to spill it all over. I found that a small triangle size was the best for sipping.

Royal Ceylon milk tea best; roasted oolong very similar. Slightly more refreshing would go with uji matcha milk tea. Not true foam for all cases, but more like cream

Service here is incredible, and everyone is so friendly. They really make me come back (well besides the food and drinks).

It is small inside, so don't expect to sit and eat. But it's nice to eat outside when the weather is not horrible.

Finding parking still sucks because it is the overcrowded Main Street Cupertino Plaza, but I will fight for parking for a fluffy pancake.

Hands down my new favorite milk tea shop~!
