Friendly staff, campground needs gravel added for lots and roads. Looks like it would be muddy when rain comes. Close to I-10. We are on waiting list but saw several empty spots...?
This was my fourth visit to Talahasee east park. It is a family park always kept, clean and quiet.
Stay away..... Bed bugs in cabins sent my friend to the ER..
We stayed for one night in our pop-up camper.. I would have given it 5 stars, but it is really close to I-10. However, the restrooms were clean, the sites were well maintained & they served a complimentary breakfast which was homemade and delicious! It was perfect for one night. No complaints.
First 1 star. Runned down. This is not a koa anymore. Place needs alot of maintenance. Stayed for a pit stop. Pool empty. Deff would not stay a weekend.
Super nice ladies in the office and a very Country atmosphere. Just a bit pricey for what is offered, but not a horrible value.
Great staff and very attentive to your needs. Beautiful minimalist cottages with amazing views. Great playground for kids and a huge pool!
We had a blast besides I guess what she said is she was the wife of the owner. Should not have her and her friends hanging out at the pool when people pay for 2 nights at a cabin. They made us feel very unwelcome and she was throwing up by the pool. If she was not there it would have been amazing and I was planning on more people
This place is ok, decent for tent camping. The pool is nice, showers are clean, laundry facility is good. I only had 3 complaints about it. 1, it's SUPER NOISY 24hrs a day because of the freeway right next to it. Bring ear plugs. 2, I've camped in national forests where I've seen 1 roach in 14 days, but this place has tons roaches everywhere. I went to get a bag from my truck bed and at least 6 scattered at the movement. 3, for tent campers, the only public bathroom is too far away. The tent site is at the end of the property, while the bathroom is at the front next to the office. A vault toilet at the tent end would be considerate. I shouldn't have to drive to the toilet.
Also, there's this girl who drives a cart around all day holding a baby. I locked my tent when I went swimming and came back to find milky vomit under a window inside my tent. So beware, the people who live there are shady.
The place is not very impressive. Muddy when it rains. The grass is loaded with stickers making it almost impossible to take the dogs for a walk.
Still everyone was very nice and the price was cheap given its close to FSU stadiums.
nothing special here, cute playground but with broken toys and we were denied propane. Good place to stop for the night and get some laundry done but that's it.
Very cool campground with a few discouraging things i had observed. Some of the shingles were coming off, this cabin has roaches, mouses, no tv inside of this cabin, theres massive caulking in this cabin. Theres water damage near were the ac wall unit is at. The smoke detector is missing inside this cabin, there's no carbon monoxide detector, lastly the ac wall unit doesnt cool off the whole cabin, where i sweated most of the nite. Absolutely disgusting, dont waste your money here! The office wasnt even open when i turned in my key, the breakfast offered here people described on trup advisor and other web browsing searches are less then mediocre, i doubt the staff would have proper handling techniques.
Awesome campground. Friendly employees clean bath house pool and recreation room. I recommend this campground to anyone looking a place to stay.
We had fun. Lots of pull through spaces, but pool was filthy. Kids had a good time playing on the playground.
We only stayed. Over nite. Site was nice complimentary breakfast. Would stop again
This park is very unkept. $$ was more than worth. Dirt roads and sites. Pool has been closed for quite awhile.
A real dump of a place. Totally neglected by owner.
The work campers / staff were extremely helpful, the property had some nice upgrades with cabins but on a whole, need MUCH more work. Roads were full of pot holes and sandy soil. There were storage units with junk around them and very trashy. Location is good and the franchise should seriously considering upgrading.
