Great facility
One of Calgary's best facilities. Has 5 full gyms, dive tank, two full size swimming pools, hot tubs, cold tubs, yoga studio, workout area and gym facilities and more. Fitness classes are also great. Really good for the cost of membership.
I happily cancelled my spring and summer lessons, and went somewhere else, after they denied my husband's request of refund when he bought 10-pass card, specificly so he can run in the tracks while I do my lesson. He bought the card, went inside to find both tracks closed, went right back outside to request a refund. Not only did they say no, but when he asked to speak to a manager, was told the only thing they can do is ask him to leave!!! They gave him a customer service team coordinator business card. We have called several times, left voice mails, and got no response.
I like talisman centre better but, when I used to go it was massively spacious, and lots of room for all sports. Front desk staff was always very nice and had just about everything you could possibly need. Great place.
This place was excellent. Great for kids of all ages
Reasonably priced gym that offers a ton of classes, has sports like basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and also has Olympic size swimming pools. They, of course, have many different exercise machines and free weights. The facility always feels clean and well maintained. This gym seems to attract all walks of life from those just starting out to hardcore athletes. Personal training is also offered, both one on one and group, for an additional fee (which is considerable). I would definitely recommend using this gym.
First time here in over a decade. The place looks great so far. Will post again after a few visits.
Great therapy and facilities. Best of the best for serious training.
Favourite athletic facility I've ever been to! Flaws for sure but the sports atmosphere generates a vibe you can't replicate at your average gym!!
Great place to work out and play some pick-up basketball
Full size pools, saunas, and tubs. World class free weight and machine areas with classes to boot!
Great staff and the facility is always clean and has the latest equipment
I would like to contact the owner(s) regarding an ongoing issue I have been having with the safety and organization of the pool. I am extremely fed up!! Who can I contact and by who I mean the owner(s) as I have already dealt with senior figures at the pool. Thank you
Great facilities! Great diversity of programs! Great instructors!
I go here every Friday to play field hockey, it's a great location, its has a gym, court, swimming pool, and other activities. Its really cclean and usually never crowded
Ive been coming here for physio for 7 weeks. My physio (stephaine) is just great. She is honest and direct about my injuries. Super knowledgeable about the healing process, and she is very kind to me and other patients. The women at the front desk are always welcoming and funny. As for input, the contrast baths could have more contrast. Overall great experience. I returned this time because of my previous experience with lifemark.
Facilities are great here. Because of its central location, it can get quite busy, if you are working out here you may be standing around waiting to use equipment. The pool makes this place really humid all the time.
The dunk tank is terrible, can't even jump off the top 2 platforms.
Love it. Your encouraged to work out; not be judged.
Thanks emma. Excellent customer service as always. She always smile and so nice.
Very nice sports complex. Two 50 meter pools. Indoor track. B-ball courts. Weight room. Dive tank. Multiple coffee and food options. Free parking.
A Great place that you can do almost everything at once
An all in one sports and sports therapy rehab center !
Great staff, great members. Roughly $70 a month for membership, with no WiFi. The squares and weights are pretty free before 7am and before 330pm. Good cardio machines with a 30 minute limit.
Good facility but entrance fee is very high. It's not for someone who just wants to go exercise for a few hours doing one activity.
Multi-sport facility. Physiotherapy center. Open concept can make it hard to know when a whistle is for your sport. Can get hot and humid when swim competitions are on. Very clean and tidy.
Well equipped, large pools, dive tank, and multi purpose areas. Friendly, highly competent staff.
Went to the orthopaedic surgeons office. Well run facility.
Back in Calgary I and my family used to go there every week, love the place.
The new pool is so peaceful! The old pool is also great for training. I really enjoy watching the competitions that happen here in the pools.
Very large sports center
Very large swimming pool
2 healthy restaurants on site
Large parking lot
While the facility itself is clean and well maintained the parking situation, particularly on weekends and during events, is ridiculous. My daughter is registered in one of the Saturday swim classes, and if I had known of the disaster that is parking because of "special events", I would gladly have taken my business elsewhere. I shouldn't have to leave my house an hour and a half before class takes place just to find parking. I'm very disappointed in how paying members have to struggle to find parking - particularly when you have a very small child in tow. I will not be returning.
Kind of lame amount of stuff available for the high fees and required commitments. I found a gym that's less than half and it has more. The building is cool but you don't see it from the inside. Oh there are tons of kids here so if that bothers you go somewhere else
Great facility. The auxiliary gymnasium could use a resurface, but I always enjoy going here.
do NOT join this gym if you're looking for basketball court time, only time members ever get is past 8:30-9 PM while all the prime time is given to different leagues and private bookings
One stop fitness center, breakfast and energy drinks right there.
Good location, good prices, good facility but it isn't large enough to handle the January rush.
Son learned Fencing with opponents, he said actually quite tired with arm, hot in the mask, when scored beats on the side. Thanks to Calgary All sports one day!
Great place to get a workout and a steam, plus they have Gatorade in the vending machines
The services are horrible slow. I wanted to book gym courts. Took me 2 online submissions, 2 emails and 1 phone message later.
Not very accessible for this who need help walking. Currently on crutches and it's a long haul to get anywhere in the building. For a rehab sports centre not great!
Variety of equipment, helpful attendants, open till 11pm! Does not smell!
It's one of the best recreational spaces in the city. It is pretty popular so it can get really crowded during peak hours but the pool areas are quite good along with the steam room (though the latter can get overcrowded). It's nice to see that a lot of athletic teams use the facility to practice, as I see it as a mark that it provides the best. On top of my wishlist would be a refurbishment or update of the locker and shower rooms.
I go almost daily to swim. They also have Basketball, Badminton, a running track, fitness room, stationary bikes, and lots of classes from yoga to aerobics, to synch swimming
Tried calling to have a question on admittance answered, but didn't go because they don't answer their phones.
Indoor sports centre formerly known as Lindsay Park. Indoor track, pool and workout area. Also offers sports rehabilitation. Normally it is quiet but sometimes when an event is on there is little to no parking.
Definitely love this place great atmosphere and positive vibes! People are very friendly! Its very spacious and there is a lot of activities to do there! You can workout! Go play some badminton and then maybe go shoot some hoops! And if that s not enough go for a swim and go take a dip in the hot tub and also loosen your joints while you cool in the cold tub! Big Thanks to Elmi for helping me out and getting me my membership! Anyone new that is looking for a gym to go to in Calgary definitely choose Repsol centre!!!
Great facility with a lot of options for your physical health. They always have lanes open to swim (it seems) and the pools are clean. Change rooms are usually always neat and tidy and the work out facility is constantly being upgraded with new equipment. I enjoy the courts for various sports (basketbal, badmington) and their drop in fitness classes will kick your butt! The only complaint is the parking situation and they seem to have a lot of events there that can make the whole building loud and crowded. Overall great space!
Everything you need in a gym for the right price. Not just a weight lifting gym but you have the ability to run the track, use the pool, and bring your family as well. Great value.
Repsol is a great place for the family. There are so many activities you can do. The facilities are well maintained. Parking can get busy on weekends.
Repsol is probably the best gym in Calgary because it has a variety of activities, equipments and classes offered to the members. The only downside is the parking and it could get pretty hectic at times when there are special event running.
Every gym place shld be like repsol sorry center. They have everything including free parking. I love this place
Best place to workout in Calgary. Tonnes of classes to choose from. Amazing instructors. Clean facility. Great pricing. Warm and welcoming environment.
It'll always be Lindsey park... excellent facilities!
I like it here but dont like when the lifeguards take the lane ropes out and hit us with the ropes
The best centre ever. Such good equipment, ventilation, prices, cleanliness and the staff are very cool. I have gone for many years and loved it. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Worth every cent.
Calgary"s best sporting centre, excellent equipment and knowledgeable staff.
The Talisman Centre is an Olympic-level sports training facility with a strong community presence. The centre contains multiple swimming pools, gymnasia, weight training equipment (including Olympic, i.e. barbells, squat racks, etc.), and cardio stations. The only thing that's obviously missing is squash/racquetball courts. Monthly rates are not cheap, but there are discounts on annual memberships and family plans.
Excellent public workout gym with a pool, diving area, huge weight room, track, machines, courts and large change rooms. The place is very well maintained and not overly crowded
Have not used the sports facility. Was just there for a synchro swimming competition. Food prices were slightly higher than the norm and not much choice.
Great selection of sports/activities to participate in. Everything looks new & clean and staff is for the most part friendly. The on-site cafe is expensive though
The pool facilities are great, it's nothing fancy, but it's clean and versatile for swimming, diving, lessons, etc.
THEFT RECURRING PROBLEM AT THIS FACILITY - DO NOT GO HERE. I just moved to Calgary three weeks ago from Ontario. I had been going to Repsol for about a week. I went to my third class on a Sunday morning at 9 am and LOCKED UP my keys, wallet + phone in one of their day lockers. When I came back down at 10 am, my lock was gone and my locker was empty. The thief had tried a few locks in the women's locker room as another woman was complaining hers was tampered with. They stole probably ~2 grand worth of stuff at the end of the day (using my credit cards, etc). Repsol centre could not provide any sort of camera footage, or protection for my items, and did not provide any sort of compensation. They essentially did nothing, and didn't even check the security footage they do have/review which visitors came in that day. They explained that this can happen (worse for men's locker room - so men beware, also very bad in their parking lots) and I WISH they told me when I had joined to not bring any valuables in as this is a recurring problem at their facility. I am so utterly disappointed with my experience here.
Excellent facility, even when busy it's never really crazy busy. Loads of machines for cardio and weights, free weights, swimming pools (yup, plural), indoor running track and a multi-sport gym. Classes can be booked online and the ones I've tried have been great. I hear parking can be tight on weekends, but I'm walking distance so never a problem :P
It's a good place. Lots of options for fitness, however the cost is quite high. If you're tight on money then it won't be the best place to go.
Been going here for years and it could use some upgrades to some sections to keep up with similar facilities but overall I love it here enough to not switch even though I've moved 3 times since going here
