What can I say about Umaid Bhawan palace! The name speaks for itself. The hospitality and service will certainly make you feel no less than a King/Queen. We dedicated an entire day to explore the Palace Hotel. Make sure to try all their complimentary experiences, Peacock Feather hunt, Visit to the Maharaja's Horses' stable, Kite Flying, Visiting the Maharaja Maharani suite, Recreational activities, Curated tour of the palace, etc. If it is in your budget, then you can't miss staying here! Been two days since I checked out and I have already started planning my next trip to the palace hotel.

Museum is ok, 70% of palace is under Taj hotels which is not allowed for tourists to explore

I went to the museum section of this fort, I wasn't impressed, I would thus not comment on the palace converted in 5 star hotel,...

Love it was worth the travel. Rest assured, you will have good time

Set on 26 acres of gardens this elegant hotel in a grand building was once home to the jodhpur royal famil. It's 7 km from bhagat ki kothi railway station and 10 km from mandore garden .

The regal rooms and suites feature flat-screen tvs,DVD players, free wifi and mini bars. Art deco or neoclassical-style suites add living rooms some provide balconies or dining room with kitchenettes. Room service and in-room massage are available.

Most fabulous heritage place in Rajasthan and also in India. Also best hotel in India for Vip persons and celibrity.

It is just a complimentary attraction to Jodhpur fort

This looks like a disney theme park. Everthing is cartoonish. It is indeed grand and well kept but the design is seriously comic-book-ish.

Just see it from outside.... inside is very boring... cant enter hotel premises if u arnt stayin there...

We wanted to enjoy a morning coffee with pastries but the hotel personnel would only allow us to have breakfast or be a guest. Not friendly at all.

It's a magnificent architectute. Half of the palace is open for public to visit and the other half has been turned into a hotel. We didn't have the time to see the hotel but the other half was amazing in its own right.

Class apart..... A palace full of glimpses of the grandeur past of the Rajputana Kings of Jodhpur.....Houses a functional hotel where you can live like a king and enjoy all royal cuisine and comforts.

It's an amazing palace, very beautiful and big even though it is "modern". It is a pity thought because it is only possible to see a very small part of it where a small museum is presented.

Beautiful And Expensive Things in It and Made by Only Stones

Has beautiful architecture but should allow common people to visit the main palace and not just the museum during normal days too. We were not allowed due to presence of some general ministry.

They are not allowing access to most of the palace. It is indowestern style of architecture and not much Rajasthani architectural style inside.

Just good one time visit but nothing special to see there

Sheer display of how lavishly royal family lived and even at that time, they had so much knowledge of luxurious things. So this is called rich Indian heritage. :)

Not much to see, save yourself some time and go visit other places of interest

Super awesome palace and if you get local guide then it's very very helpful to explore the palace.
Out of 347 rooms 30 rooms are with king some are converted into museum and 300 rooms are now part of TAJ hotel.
Must go place and must see ventage cars out of those cars one car with wooden wheels will pick you up from airport to TAJ hotel if you are staying there.

Umaid Bhawan palace located in Jodhpur in Rajasthan , India .It's one of the world's largest private residences. And now the palace managed by Taj hotels .
Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh , grand father of the present owner Can sing .
The palace has 347 rooms and is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace is a museum.
And the palace work completed at 1943.
The architecture of palace is Bhutmal Rai and Samuel swinton jacob.
Recently, Umaid Bhawan Palace was awarded as the World's best hotel at the Traveller's Choice Award.

If we are touring Jodhpur, we can visit this palace. But for only this palace we can't tour Jodhpur.

Wonderful palace well maintained. Has beautiful architecture. Made in beautiful stones. Portrays lifestyle of maharaja Gaj Singh. The palace is managed by Taj hotels.
A part of the palace is a museum which tourists can visit and have a view and experience of the palace

Excellent palace to visit in Jodhpur. 60 -70% of it has been converted into Hotel and some part is open for visitors. View of palace is awesome from front. Where the Vintage car are also displayed which were been used by the Kings.

Beautiful and awesome but it's not for public, a small room open as a museum for public with 30 rupees tickets Indians

Worth visiting, contribution of JU estate to our country is well exhibited.
