One of the most beautiful and wonderful place ever seen. There are many beautiful museums which you can visit. A small kind of market is also inside it. Local guidance is provided with full security.

When you are a lover of sandstone and you get to visit the most beautiful sandstone structure in the country, it is hard to feel anything but pure awe. This is by far the most well kept monument in India, spotless, clean, and so beautiful. The king and his family still reside in a part and a part has also been converted into a hotel. The gallery open to public is beautiful and I feel everyone should visit it at least once.

Why did I come here? There is nothing inside this building except private collections of royal and that is private. It is of no interest. Collections of watches which are not in working conditions and furniture which is ruined has been put up for display. They total have small 6 rooms for royal exhibition. You can only see hotel from a distance and .... and yes total 6 - 7 vintage cars for display. Nothing special. Also, staff inside the museum shall ask for money for helping you understand the museum which you can do on your own. No need to pay extra money to these staff people trying to earn extra money from innocent people visiting this royal building.

Good show of Indian artisans skills.
A palace built when the entire country was fighting against british, by their help.
50% is a commercial hotel, partly occupied by erstwhile king of Jodhpur family and partly open for public. Where one can't feel much of the architecture, one can get information from the museum.

Located in Jodhpur this is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum.
