Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi Review

This hotel has the markings on a once grand appearance, however sadly the owners have let the standards decor. Everything feels abit dated and it is most obvious in the rooms. Brown colour scheme, worn out bathroom fittings and worn carpet. This is a far cry from the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai which is light years ahead of this property. I can t believe it has the same owners, which include the Tata Group. There are plenty of other 5 star hotels in Delhi. Don t waste your money here.

Many times I have just passed near the Taj Man Singh hotel because we can't afford this. I wish and it's my big dream that whatever I will get a chance to go there I will never say no because It's my 6 years dream

It still serves as one of the main hotels in New Delhi even after years. Amazing

I kept eating breakfast and dinner for a week here. There is also Western food but North Indian food is delicious. The breakfast was good for omelettes. Still high! It was morning glimpse, but it was another night, and it was like Lotti was over 400 hundred yen. . . I can not help because it is a 5 star hotel!

Its a nice hotel as you expect from these 5 star hotels. I dint spend too much time there as I was there for some work but overall good interiors and nice swimming pool I saw there. Other than that overall its a nice hotel. No idea about the prices though.

Varq a nice restaurant to have dinner with your closed ones. Service is outstanding, food is good and ambience is quite and classy.

Have been there more than once for purpose of corporate gathering, training and team building exercise. Believe me they have everything available as expected or beyond that. They have excellent conference and presentation space available as per the requirement. Technologically also they have upgraded their IT assets and hardware. Nice food, great Ambience, supportive staff. Its been an exceptional experience here.

Unfortunately their lease has expired and the property will be auctioned off by NDMC. This was an iconic Delhi hotel.

Amazing Indian hospitality, mix of luxury and culture

Ambience extremely good. Staff alert and very well behaved. Neat and clean place. It was a ring ceremony program and the food can't be appreciated. Selection of food items and the food can't be appreciated.
Desserts were good.

Too crowded, long queue, can be avoided in summer time. Can be enjoyed when crowd can be less. People try to get inside the queue without understanding that there was people who sincerely wait in the queue waiting for their turn to enter the premises.

Loved the place and the room. The early morning sunrise was a great sight from the window. You feel like your in a nature park. Wish I could open the window :) The service was great!!

I could not find anything ordinary at this place, whatsoever. The place lives up to its name when it comes to royal treatment, hygienic conditions, and an amicable staff. You have to check out the beautiful view from one of the top floor halls there, it is mesmerising!

Wow Experience... In Hotel Taj. I was there for Lakme Fashion week model Auditions. It's been great experience and nice place as really proven the feeling at the Name Taj's royality.

This is the place where I go many times alawys feel better but this hotel doesn't have parking for biker guest

We went to a restaurant late at night to have dessert and it was the best dessert I've ever had. Taj sure lives up to its name. The best staff, the best ambience and in my opinion it is the best 5 star in New Delhi
