My wife and I stayed at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa a few days ago for our honey moon. I cannot describe what an amazing time we had. Taj is simply indescribable. Since the moment we were welcomed into our room (full amenities, private pool, and ocean view) until our departure in private speed boat, we have never felt so good. Our assistant Shamiz was exceptional, and so was the rest of the staff. We enjoyed the amenities: spa, infinity pool, restaurants, photo studio, hookah bar. We participated in several activities: scuba diving, snorkeling, sting ray feeding, kayak, jet ski, and more. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing environment but still have the option to enjoy from several marine activities. No second thoughts to recommend it.

Taj Exotic Resort is really exotic hotel in Maldives. It is on a small island. We were taken there from airport by a speed boat. On arrival at the resort we were welcomed by music and local dancers. After a welcome drink we were shown our rooms. All the rooms have a private swimming pool. Nobody from outside can see the pool. The food was awesome. The staff and service was great.
My family had the opportunity to stay at Taj Exotica at Maldives for 3 days in September 2019. The Tajness of Taj, the hospitality of Taj, shines in full splendor here. Right from our personal butler Ms Shaufa, the housekeeper Mr Ali along with his colleagues and the rest of the staff did their jobs quietly and perfectly. We were also greeted by the General Manager Mr Vishal Singh , the Director of Finance Mr Anthony and the Indian Chef Mr Kannan . The breakfast layout and the variety was quite impressive. The rooms were very clean and the view from our room was amazing. Surprisingly, there were quite a few complimentary services, which we were not aware of before our visit. It is every penny well spent at this lovely place run by the Taj and well kept by the current managing team. We would recommend this place to any tourist looking for a relaxing quality holiday. Taj Exotica s beach is situated in South Male Atoll and is quite near to the international airport. Because of Taj resort s impeccable hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of this beach, your experience here will be unforgettable. The only downside is that there s no reef around the island and so the snorkeling is bad, and it isn t completely secluded due to the airport nearby.
This is one of the best resorts ever in my life.The scenic view with all state of art eminities. Always feel some aura and perfumed air which takes u to eternal feeling.such is the maintaining and the spa...it will rejuvenate your inner energies and cosmic energies too.And as the name suggests...its TAJ meaning royal...so its a royal portrait resort.i love to be dead in this resort.i fell in love with it.it has to my dream resort.
This little slice of heaven is breathtaking, it was our first time here in the maldives, we spent 8 nights at taj exotica, what a relaxing trip it has been, the resort is beautiful so well maintained and beautifully decorated with attention to the smallest details, the food is amazing, weather spectacular, views are something out of this world.
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff are exceptional. Anything you need or require they are on hand to help. The personal aspect of the service given is what makes this place what it is.
The staff here are like a family always happy to help always available. From the waiters to the cleaners amazing bunch of people they go above and beyond with the service they provide.
It's the little things that make you happy for example in the morning for breakfast when we sit down our coffee is brought to us straight away without having to ask, the staff memorise your orders and just make it an effortless experience.
We want to give a special thank you to the waiting staff sajanie, Selim. Such sweet and friendly people, they dealt with us in such a welcoming manner, it just made us feel at home.
The butler that was assigned to the room nevil, what can I say amazing,friendly helpful, he gave us his whatsapp so we can contact him for anything we need. If that's not customer service then I dont know what is Mohammad was also fantastic when covering for Nevil just made our stay easy and so enjoyable.
We have to give a very very special thank you to our friend Bilal. This man is amazing and has made our stay here just that little bit better. I honestly do not know why he doesnt run his own resort. There is nothing he does not know or is not willing to help with,
Don't know what to eat? Dont worry, just ask bilal, there was not one dish he recommended that me and my wife didnt enjoy. (I don't like fish, he even got me eating all types of seafood.)

Honestly i have met alot of people in the hotel sector over the years, but never have I met someone who loves there job and helping people like Bilal he is a top man and deserves all the best.
Overall if you are thinking to come to this resort, I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

Haven on earth. This resort deserves 5 stars on everything. Location, staff, Food, and rooms are perfect. Its 25 minuets on boat from Male. The staff are very nice and helpful. They are fast on responding to our requests. Food was delicious delicious and delicious. 24 Degree is the name of the restaurant, I tried most of their meals and couldn t get enough of it. Freshly cooked food with their tasty spices. My room was on sunrise with private pool. Clean and comfortable. You have to see and live the experience.
My family and I decided to travel to the Maldives earlier this week (20th of July) after becoming fed up of quarantining due to COVID-19. We ended up staying at the Taj Exotica and it was fantastic! We're frequent visitors to the Maldives and normally by day 4/5 of our trip we're ready to go home, this time however at the end of day 7 we all could have extended for another week and it was all because of the resort! The Taj exotica's staff, kitchen, hotel room and activities were all FANTASTIC, making it an unforgettable trip for us. The team took cleanliness and hygiene very seriously (a real point of concern for us prior to travelling) and their general service was second to none! With daily activities such as stingray & shark feeding, there was plenty for all of us to do regardless of us ranging from 10-50 years old. The snorkelling was also fantastic we frequently saw an abundance of fish, sharks, turtles & even manage to see dolphins! All in all it was a fantastic trip and we'll be sure to visit soon again!
I was taken care of at the wedding, cum and honeymoon, but it was a great experience. It will be reasonably priced, so I think we should go back in 10 years.

Pathetic food service in the evening at 24 degree restaurant. Food order either comes all together soups, salad, appetizer and main course all at the same time. Or comes 30-45 mins late.
When portion of bread ordered, all portions come together stacked like a mess. And by the time you are done with one. Expect cold ones to be eaten.
Order taken by someone followed by someone else. And when reminded the first person is shocked that the order is not delivered yet after 45 mins. They have a reason saying sir we thought ur not here. When I was handling a infant baby of mine.
Basically not day 1, but all days the service at dinner has been pathetic. Worst taj food experience ever.
Probably they are really short On staff as dinner is complimentary. But they charged a bomb for the stay like 1500$ a night.

One of the best resorts I've ever been. Great services and hospitality. Amazing cleanliness and facilities as well. One concern regarding the food matter, they don't allow to heat your food at all, which means you must order from them only all the time, which is something I didn't prefer, since it something not written in their food policy. In general, great experience.

Location is amazing. Amenities are good. But all incomplete without proper food. Heavily understaffed full of interns not doing the right job.

Our experience was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast and dinner at 24 degrees were full of different options and really delicious. The island itself is extremely beautiful. The infinity pool was a great relaxing spot during afternoon. The poolside cafe there has some amazing food! The staff is extremely courteous and very helpful. We took private lessons for snorkeling and also went for a snorkel dive at the nearest lagoon. Well worth it! All non-motorized equipment was free so we used to paddleboat our way into the sunset and it was lovely. Must Visit! Highly recommended!
This is a very nice hotel. One of the best I have ever been to. Perfect service, villas, food and atmosphere. The staff is so caring that they wish you a good night every afternoon in your villa, besides that they can recognize you by your name! The sea is wonderful with spectacular sea life. Located on the largest lagoon in the Maldives, Taj is a perfect place to visit.

Paradise on earth, crystal clear blue waters, house on stilts facing the beach, good food, lots of sunshine. Lot of activities to do like snorkeling, glass bottomed boat, speed boat cruise etc, loved the trip, will do it again sometime.
