The equipment was not the same at all that we received, after the sales representative displayed the lymphedema machine set up. This was very disappointing. Tactile Medical has refused helping the client to make this equipment right from Medicare, Aetna Insurances and the patient who the equipment was to be used on. Tactile Medical Equipment has been a misleading experience for us. There has been no co-operation on changing seen equipment for us. This company was paid from insurance companies and refuses to take care of this issue. This company does not take care of wrong equipment issues. Our prescribing Dr. for Tactile Medical was also notifief.about the non -cooperation.

I am not sure what the last person stated about no assistance, this company is AWESOME! I met with the sales rep last week and today almost a week later, my device is being shipped. The company submitted my information for an assistance plan they have taking my out of pocket expense down by several hundred dollars. It states on there website that they offer a payment plan. The terms are totally workable and they have the nicest people there. Props to Chris my sales rep and Sally the rep at the company!!!

I have had an incredible experience with this company. The entire process of receiving the equipment, the outstanding personalized training I received on how to use it, and the continued customer service with any questions I have had has been easy and extremely gratifying. Everyone has been very personable, friendly, and most of all they care about making sure I am a happy and satisfied customer. My FlexiTouch Plus is truly a life saver! I use it every single night and it keeps my swelling from Lymphedema down. The directions for how to use it and put it on were clear and uncomplicated making it effortless to use. I actually love the way it feels when it is on- it feels like my leg is getting a massage! I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

They are good at getting insurance to pay for your machine. They are difficult to get help from if you have problems making the machine work for you. Doesnt fit right and I keep getting the run-around.

Hands down the worst company I have ever had the d...

Hands down the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of having to do business with. They failed to get anything right from day 1.
Directly following the fitting I was harassed by the salesman to submit my order so he could "reach quota" even though he knew I was waiting to receive my insurance info. Next was the call from an order processor who wanted a shipping address before I even confirmed the purchase or heard any pricing. Then came the incorrect garment sizes of both units and a "fitting specialist" who had to contact sale because she "wasn't allowed" the salesman's consult document. Even though she was a Tactile employee and a service of the process. They informed me they were putting me on a payment plan but neglected to inform me that it was put on hold because of my complaints on how my experience had been so far. Management was informed to contact me ( again something I was unaware of) but irregardless, 2 months have passed and that has yet to be done either.
Well the last straw was today. I called to see why after 2 months I received a bill for $700 when it should have been 2 bills for $97 each. The over bubbly account rep explained the previous information to me and I lost it. Told her that " No, i don't want to NOW start the payment plan. I have had it with this company's stupidity." Then I heard something that shocked me. She actually started laughing. I spent 7 month fighting cancer and beat a 85% fatality rate so this piece of garbage can laugh at my medical concerns.
At $8000 for the Flexitouch Plus unit I think the CEO sleeps just fine while their minions treats people like second class citizens. Now im sure they may try to justify these actions. Once maybe....twice, whats going on...but after 5 calls this is beyond unacceptable. Be careful

I just realized that after an initial $2500 charge for the device they have been charging my insurance $745 a month, and sending us a bill for $35 a month. For a device that at best costs $500 in total.

Filing this with Aetna in the morning as an insurance scam.

I received a Flexitouch pump for my legs. I used it a grand total of three times. It was very cumbersome and difficult to use and I quickly realized there was no way I would use it consistently. I called Tactile Medical to return it. They agreed to take it back but they won't refund my insurance company. This thing cost almost $5000 and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it! To top it off, there are similar devices on Amazon for less than $100. I wish I could give them negative stars.

Horrible company, the original rep I met with was wonderful but that is when things turned sour. My fitter and demonstration rep was horrible, more concerned with her own schedule than what worked for me we all have other jobs you know, even told me you don t really need me to fit you, you can just watch the video, and can you take your garment out of the box and set it up for me why would you offer to have someone help if they discourage you from having personalized service. Had conversations about setting up a payment plan that made my head spin. Me: how do you set up a payment plan? Tactile Medical: I am not sure I understand what you are asking . Me: provides example of how someone sets up a payment plan. Them: are you asking what financing means to you. Me: no, what does financing mean to Tactile Medical. Now inquired regarding tax status for 2017, the original phone call was all about getting my insurance company to pay in 2017, them: we don t do anything for taxes. Seriously?!? Definitely find ANY other company, even a 2-star company would be better than this one. If you would like to know what employees think Google reviews for their company, they refer to users of their products as lazy, fat/obese, hoarders, stinky.

This company walks away from the customer if they find your medicare or supplemental insurance will not approve the device. No assistance available.. Strictly works on for profit. I don't blame regional reps they're overworked, but their pushy $ and #s oriented upper management structure.. I will buy company stock, flexitouch is a proven device that helps people.

Insurance scam all around - numerous reports proved to me that this is a bill-insurance at all costs, results come second, scam.

Once you receive your system, it s nothing more than a highly expensive air pump to squeeze your limb(s) like your doctors office does on your arm to take your pulse, only with an electric motor attached to it.

Knowing this company targets unhealthy individuals whom often can t move due to their condition, this effect on my loved one, became blatantly obvious - these folks like my relative will do anything to heal from their pain and suffering. With its lack of efficacy and our inability to get insurance to get their payments back, it s a win-win for Tactile and a lose-lose for the actual patient, suffering.

Run, run the other direction.

UPDATE: 12/28/19..As I suspected, my insurance did not require an initial pump. I was able to get the Flextouch without purchasing the useless pump for a copay of $1300.00. Thank God my background is in insurance and adjudicating claims.

My salesperson at Tactile Medical states that you have to purchase a temporary pump that you only use for four weeks before they will submit for the Flextouch pump. She claimed that my insurance (Humana) requires it. Be cautious because when I contacted my insurance company, they stated that they had never heard of that requirement. The initial pump would have a copay of $1262.90, so I can imagine what the Flextouch copay will be. I am starting to wonder if the salesperson is trying to just make more on commission. When I told her what Humana told us, she has been... all of a sudden hard to reach. I have been waiting for someone from the escalation dept to get back to me since Nov 1st.
