Their crispy chicken burrito is perfect and really flavourful. The chicken is fried perfectly and just the right amount of crispy. Service was fast too. One of my favourite burrito spot

Excellent food and service, tacos come out very fast and always delicious

I had worked as some would describe a man working would. A hard long day. Having no food prepared at home, and it being so late, we ventured out. Entering the establishment the music seemed too loud for the tinny room. I couldn t hear my partner and they said to sit wherever. I like to be sat. I don t want to make a decision. She wanted outside but it was closed so they sat us nearest the through way to outside, which was next to the water station. Though I couldn t hear anyone, I wasn t looking forward to being over heard for the duration of our meal by staff. Anyhow, I tried to order a burrito, which was the size of the sustenance I needed. Staff informed me they only served the small tacos in the restaurant area. I didn t want to eat five little tacos. I m a lumberjack (at times). Left miffed. Great food, five stars.

F A B U L O U S! The fish taco, Pork gringa, with the cold brew... Is just so fulfilling! Must go! Never been one? Why wait? Go try it out!

Wait times can be a bit ridiculous on weekends, though the lamb taco is simply delicious!

This place was great! I hear there's usually a wait but we were seated right away. Service was killer and we really enjoyed the happy hour menu that was on, drinks and food alike. Tried the nachos and they were very filling for being veg only!

Very hip place with good food and mostly friendly workers but somewhat cramped and music was way too loud. Barely could hold a conversation with the people sitting next to me.

Good food and atmosphere. The Margaritas were expensive but still tasty. There is definitely more authentic places you can go for Mexican but Tacofino is still delicious.

Always love going to Tacofino, even during this pandemic it was a great night!!

Tacos are so delicious and the portions are satisfying.Staff is amazing too.My favorite taco is fish taco and favourite drink is spicy passionfruit margarita.

It's a tacofino so it's pretty good... but not as satisfying as the cart when it first rolled into town. Maybe because the 4-taco menu seems underwhelming for a sit-down restaurant.

Great food and good drinks! Can be quite loud since it's a pretty popular place so if you're looking for a conversation maybe better to have your meal to go!

Came here later in the evening for some after drinks burritos. Didn't sit in, just did take out. I got the fried chicken burrito which was the perfect thing for a drunk person. The flavour was great and it was probably the best burrito I've had in a while. But who knows, I was drunk when I ate it.

Very delicious, fried chicken wings are very powerful, taco suggested that two people are too delicious.

The best tacos I've ever had! We tried the fish chicken and vegetarian, all were seriously amazing! (Nasty toilets though, ugh)

Fish Burrito was good. Shrimp Burrito was not.. Completely different level of consistency for the same price. While the fish burrito felt filling and heavy the shrimp one had barely any shrimp and mostly sauce and felt like half the size of the Fish for the same price..

For the second time in a row, they got my order wrong. They make great tasting food, but can't seem to figure out who ordered what.

I love the vegetarian burrito here! The tortilla is really nice and thin and soft, the lettuce has a really interesting texture that makes the whole thing fresh and delicious! Plus the staff are friendly and their branding is really cute :)

Been here a couple of times, their fish Taco is fairly popular and delicious, I get the lamb whenever it's on their menu also. They do happy hour as well!

Yum- fresh California-style Mexican food. Delicious and inexpensive

Go here if you have some spare time and want a belly full of Mexican food. The reason for three stars is because of the length of time to order and get served on what seemed like a very quite day.

The food is fresh, made to perfection, but the product is not everything. After waiting to order I was met with a fairly stern, no guff type at the register who said something like "what can I get you". Which is a little off putting when you are spending $15 on a burrito. When asked a couple questions about the menu that were met with equally short and unenthusiastic responses I placed my order.

After a 10 minute wait it was ready and made well. This is a true three star review because if the service was better it would be a five, and if the burrito was not perfect it would be a one.

It was busy when we went so we had to settle for their take out.

Very good tacos, but a bit pricey at $6.00 each! The atmosphere is very modern and trendy, making it a nice place to hang out with friends for a bit.

Recommend by my friend to come here. This place is definitely worth trying. We had the pork, beef and fish taco. I personally like the fish taco, very crispy and juicy. Each taco is $6, which is not too expensive. The atmosphere is pretty nice too. Will come back again.

The crispy chicken burrito is absolute heaven. Prices are high but it's well worth it. Staff are pleasant and friendly!

Love this place, I always get the veggie burrito with a brussel sprout taco. And yes brussel sprout tacos are to die for, so delicious. This place has a chill atmosphere, the seating is arranged into large communal tables, giving the place a community vibe, something vancouver has been lacking. Thanks for the great experience! Definitely recommend this location!

Not a big fan of Tacofino, food is good, but that isn't my issue. When you sit down and look at the menu you'll think "wow the prices here are actually pretty affordable!" But when the dish comes out 20 mins later, and you see a taco that's meant for a toy poodle, you go "Oh.."

Point being, you have to order a LOT of food to get stuffed. So in the end, you'll spend just as much if not more than you would at say... Cactus Club.

People think the restaurant is doing them a favor by making food affordable, but don't realize they're paying just as much in the end or going home hungry unless you're stomach is the size of a tennis ball.

Good place. Their tacos with steak and chicken are just amazing. Burrito with chicken is great too. Interior is just ok, service is good. 4.5/5.

Out of three tacos, two were bland. Third one was great but not worth it. Also, worst churros I've ever had; dry balls of dough served without any dipping sauce.

Good tacos, but the service and acoustics are terrible.

We ordered tacos and they took about 3-4 minutes to get to our table (awesome). We asked for our bill and it took 10 minutes before I got up and just paid at the server station.

The room is a big concrete box so on a busy night you won t be able to hear the person next to you. They need some acoustic baffling.

Meh. If taco restaurants were ice cream flavors, tacofino would be vanilla. Not even french vanilla or honey vanilla, just vanilla.

Ordered a chicken burrito, got mostly cabbage. Also why can't they serve burritos in the restaurant.

Try the chorizo taco. It's spicy but easily the best one on the menu.

I absolutely love this small restaurant tucked into a warm and inviting nook in Gastown.

I love tacofino and the food here is really great. It really is a staple of Vancouver.

My one down side about this location is that sit down does not serve burritos, you can only get them on the front end takeout area. For sit down you can get tacos and the apetizers.

Amazing little taco place. Short walk from Roger's arena yet far enough to get away from the crowds.

Delicious tacos! The only issues are seating is a little awkward and acoustics in there can be challenging for a discussion.

Flavours are unique and delicious. Nice tacos. Eat 2-3 tacos for a meal.

My wife and I have been talking about coming here forever after eating some amazing fish tacos at the food truck in Tofino. We were seated very promptly and our orders were taken quickly given how busy it was. We ordered Chips and Salsa (chickpea, pico de gallo, and cashew salsas) and a fish taco each. The chips and salsa were great and the tacos were amazing as well. Overall, we had a great experience with both the staff and food. We will definitely be back again!

The best crispy chicken tacos. Really the only place I can find cripsy chicken tacos.

Definitely a place I'll bring out-of-town visitors. Their nachos are a refreshing and delicious twist on what you'd typically expect and the fish tacos are always hearty and delicious. Their drink menu is nice as well if you want to dabble in some cocktails.

Food was amazing! However I can't eat gluten and I decided to get the steak tacos with a corn tortilla. It made me sick so there must of been gluten. It's a better bet just to stick with full gluten free options if you can't have it. The atmosphere was great and servers were awesome! I would definitely eat here again.

We had an amazing experience here! We got the wings, they were a little spicy for my partner (he s brown), but delicious. We got their fried chicken taco, fish tacos, and lamb taco. The fried chicken was not the most flavourful, nonetheless, if you love fried chicken, you won t regret it. The fish tacos were classic! The lamb tacos were TO DIE FOR. Even if you aren t hungry, at least try their lamb taco, it is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this place!!!

Nice atmosphere for groups of 4-6 attentive staff. Clean. Good food and nice options for dietary needs.

Not all tacos are created equal, because the fish taco is unreal here.

It's a very simple and hip environment. The service was quick, food arrived about 10 mins after we ordered. The taco menu is a bit different than the location on Hasting, but tacos still taste good. There are also many vegetarian friendly options.

The crispy chicken burrito is my favourite thing on the menu (mostly because I don't like fish). Please make chicken tacos.

The wait was a bit crazy (but it was expected). A bit pricey for the quantity but the quality of ingredients made it definitely one to try out.

Friendly staff and efficient staff.

They went for the music so loud you have to yell atmosphere which I'm not a huge fan of though.
