Food is always great. Last night they sent our food to the wrong table so we waited a while. Dan the server and management comped our food and gave us a gift certificate without us even asking.

Such a restful place. Quiet and clean, the bed and bedding was so comfortable. Enjoyed the happy hour and rainbow trout! Had breakfast in bed for an amazing price. They don't nickel and dime for parking or anything . This will be our new go to place to stay!

Wonderful service but terrible food. The mangos were so green in my salad that the fork bounced off! The shrimp was old and not very good. Of the four of us - none of us will go back. Stick with margeritas which are fabulous!

Can't say I would recommend this restaurant. The setting of the restaurant was pleasant, and we sat on patio outside on a lovely evening. The margaritas were good, and the food would have been good except that all of it was lukewarm to cold. One of us ordered the "house favorite chicken tortilla soup." Not only was it lukewarm, it was watered-down and chicken-less. We shared this with the waiter, but he did nothing to rectify the problem, which was VERY disappointing. In my opinion, I felt the least he could have done was to offer to warm our dinners. Overall, for the price we paid for our dinners, we were disappointed and probably would never return to this restaurant.

This is probably the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. Very spacious, beautiful southwestern decor, clean. I will be back someday. The food in their restaurant was delicious, too. The 4 stars was only because it didn't include breakfast.

Saturday night in a rainy Golden, CO: I took my 16 year old daughter to this restaurant, we both enjoyed fabulous buffalo burgers, the staff was eager, ample, and on task. I would recommend, and will likely return.

Have come to the Inn last 3 years and enjoy it very much except for your shrimp. Would like to suggest that you get OLD BAY Seasoning and follow the simple reciepe on the can for steamed Shrimp. Also for additional flavor you can add beer to the liquid. I quarentee that you will be pleased as will your guests as this is how the people in Maryland steam their shrimp and they are the best.

Fabulous service from beginning to end, food was great, definitely would go again and recommend for anyone going to Golden. Didn't have a chance to try their brunch on the weekend but it looked fantastic!

There was a 45 minute wait at 6:00 so we sat in the bar. We had five people in our party so two different parties of two sat at the end of our table. That was kind of awkward. The service was fantastic! I don't remember our servers name but he h as d blonde hair a a handlebar mustache. I split a filet dinner which was incredible. Cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes and gravy were some of the best I've ever had. The only negative to the night was having to share our table in the bar because of the long wait to sit in the restaurant. And...I'd say it was a bit on the pricey side.

Our room was just as nice as any $45 hotel room I ve ever been in. Unfortunately, they charge $200 a night. We prepaid for 3 nights, but called and cancelled the extra nights as soon as we got to the room.
We had a great view of the construction site next door ( engines start at 7:00AM), a refrigerator that would fit perfectly in a 1970 s dorm room, and a wardrobe that was occupied by spare bedding and a luggage frame. Carpet in the bathroom was an especially nice touch.
The room is a multi- minute walk from the lobby: up the elevator, down 3 or 4 long skinny hallways, and up a set of stairs. It s faster to access the room from the side street, but it still involves a step.
The shower handle spins 360 degrees, so it s hard to get a stable temp. The pillows are great; that s the only good thing about this experience.

Very good. Went to this restaurant 2 days ago with my family. Ordered the Southwestern Chicken Caesar Salad, but was disappointed because the "Southwestern" Caesar dressing did not taste any different from a traditional Caesar dressing. The dressing was one of the best versions of Caesar dressings I have had but wished it has some kind of Southwestern flare like it said. The rest of my family got enchiladas, steak, and burritos and very satisfied. I recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for Mexican.

Ate at the Cantina after the Coors Brewery tour. Companion had 3 street tacos of shrimp and chorizo. Perfect snack size. I had a salad with grilled chicken, mango, jicama. It was good, but seemed to lack dressing. Decor is very southwestern which I love. Food was fine, but not outstanding.

Was there on a Saturday night with a party of 8. Apparently their bottomless chips and salsa isn't bottomless, because when the chips were gone, they weren't replaced with more.

The food didn't take unreasonably long to come out, which is why I was so surprised that my plate of food was cold. The sides, the main course, everything was cold. The beans had even started to crust over they were so cold.

Atmosphere was good, but food quality was poor.

Casual dining. Lots of Mexican themed dishes with fish, beef or pork. Food is tasty and the atmosphere is college town cool. Downtown Golden is a great place to visit with a lively social scene and lots of street art.

Melissa was by far one of the best waitress I have come across. She made great recommendations, was so personable, funny as all heck, and so attentive. We ended ordering way more than we planned because of her, she sold us on the Margaritas, (get the big size worth the $2 more) snake bites, green Chile mac and cheese, and the grande nachos. We defiantly left happy and full with plenty of leftovers. The manager working Sunday night even came by and introduced himself I believe his name was Mike but I could be wrong. You guys and gals are amazing never a bad experience when I go in. Thank you for all that you do coming from a restaurant background I get how seeing us stroll in at 9pm could've annoyed the staff but Melissa treated us so well and was a delight.

Hotel was very nice, clean and the front desk staff are friendly; however, the restaurant has poor service. Food is good but it is hard to enjoy with the staff being as rude and inattentive as they are. Need a class on customer service for their restaurant.

Was here for my friend's wedding reception, the inn served breakfast. The food was good, especially the potatoes, and the staff was attentive but unobtrusive. Can't speak to the quality of the inn as an inn, but the restaurant is good.

The hotel staff welcomed me upon my arrival and additionally helped with questions via phone before I arrived. My room was ready to go and everything was clean and well cared for. Room service was prompt and delicious from the attached restaurant. Being within walking distance to everything downtown was a plus.

Pricey. Facility shows its age; and, not in a quaint, nostalgic kind of way. Love the town. But, a tourist destination should have more to offer than threadbare carpet, and soap / shampoo in large community dispensers.
