Thanksgiving Dinner: DEFINITLY WAS NOT WORTH $42.00 per person... Way over priced!!! My husband is ill and ate about $10.00 worth of food. I had about 2 plates but very little since I'm not a big eater. My in-laws had a small amount of food as well. I told my son and his family LOAD up!! So hopefully they were able to eat $42.00 worth. We paid $303.00 for the dinner... OMG! I feel they owe us money back for paying what we did. Next year will be eating at The Keg!! I found out theirs was only $29.00 per person and The Keg is more of an upscale restaurant. I was told their food was OUTSTANDING! I'm giving 3 stars because of the people who dropped off a Pepsi or picked up a dirty plate. We will never be go back for their Thanksgiving dinner. I will do a better job on finding our family a better spot. Which I am thinking The Keg for next year.
Travelers rest assured you are at the right place. Locals, this is even a spot worth spending time at. There are lots of breweries but TMI offers next level attention to people at the bar (PATB) if you will.
Spectacular, as always! We spent another two nights over the labor day weekend at Table Mountain Inn. This was our third visit in three years, we just like it so much that we plan our trips to Colorado around staying here. We had some special requests while booking, the staff answering the phone were super friendly and extremely accommodating. Upon our arrival, everything was exactly as discussed. The parking garage attached to the hotel is a tight squeeze but there is plenty of easily accessible parking right next to the building. As always it was very easy to check-in, the hotel common areas were clean, as were the rooms. The hotel design and decor is awesome, just so cozy and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the provided bathroom products are fantastic. This hotel has amazing views of Golden and the hills around. Such a great location. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the Denver area.
Great food and drinks, service is good. Happy hour is of course best bang for your buck.
The service was really nice. It was very prompt and they staff were very attentive to all our needs. The only problem was that the food just flat out wasn't good. My wife had the equivalent to a club sandwich (I forget the name exactly), and it was just extremely average. I had the chicken enchilada. It was gross, the sauce stunk (Literally), there was little to no chicken in there, and the beans and rice were forgettable. Maybe it'd be a nice place to just go have a drink, but steer clear of their awful food!
The food was good as was the service. I had the burrito which was quite a bit of food, but delicious. The only complaints I have are that it took awhile for the food to come out and there wasn't much variety.
Hair in food--overcooked hamburgers. Waiter was nice, but that's about it.
Great place! Good food and drinks. Rooms have a bit of work, but lovely. Very lovely town!
Ok. Nothing was bad. Everything was hot. Cooking too longer than I expected. Pricey for the average quality of food.
Cool little boutique hotel in the middle of downtown Golden. Location can't be beat if you need to be proximate to CSM or Golden.
Got there at like 5:30 and were seated right away. Food was element and the staff was friendly. Im wring this review to get money from google rewards.
It's a little overpriced for what it is, but somewhat expected being downtown Golden. Service isn't great either. Far better Mexican places in/around Golden to choose from.
Drinks and food are awesome. Always one of my wife's and I favorite spots in Golden.
Great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's nice and quiet and I don't think we have ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table
We stay here every New Year's Eve. Very fun place in old town Golden. Best $2 taco Tuesdays in the metro area. Happy hour in the bar is amazing. $6 nachos the size of Texas. $6 huge margs. If coming to the cantina for a meal, the chili rellenos are not to be missed.
Ate at the restaurant only. It was really tasty, the salsa was good. I got a barbacoa burrito which was delicious. The margarita was ok. Overall average prices.
We had a company Christmas party at Table Mountain Inn and it was great. Downtown Golden was all lit up with Christmas lights. Neat place.
Awesome food and drinks with a wonderful patio that opens right up to downtown Golden's main street. Features a gorgeous view of Table Mountain, and great service.
Bring back the old HH chicken nachos, and Marg's please, please!
The rooms are well appointed, service was fine, and the in-building restaurant serves good breakfast. And extremely close to downtown Golden!
Went to the Mexican restaurant, below average for this type of cuisine
Pretty good food! Was able to sit outside and it was nice little place:)
Food is good, nice environment but is noisy. Margaritas are not great. They are big probably made with sour mix and not much tequila.
Great little place. Walking distance to everything. Nice hotel bar/restaurant. Very cozy
The drink specials were good and the service was great!
The Table Mountain Grill & Cantina serves tasty and filling American-style Mexican food, with a large menu that offers a variety of unexpected options. The chicken enchiladas were great, but the real star was the Ute Indian tortilla chips, which were outstanding. The salsa was also just right. Service was on the slow side, but the restaurant was packed with the mid-afternoon lunch crowd on a Saturday so the delays were understandable. Prices were mostly reasonable, but a few items were crazy expensive ($11 for guacamole?!). I would certainly eat here again.
I used to work here as a member of the catering staff, highly recommend the place, what a wonderful group of people and a lovely place to stay in general.
The staff goes out of their way to remember customers and treat them well.
Stopped by for dinner while in town. I got the relleno and wife got the veggie enchiladas. I don't like to give negative reviews, but since Google asked, food was not very good-- it was bad. Server was very friendly so it wasn't an overall unpleasant experience. Likely won't ever go back.
I've eaten here many times- for every meal, snacks and "bar snacks". They do everything well and I've never been disappointed. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could. Today, for a light lunch I had a cup of their green Chile and the Pinon Ceasar salad- both great and hit the spot. I keep coming back...
My partner and myself recently booked several nights at this hotel. On the date we were scheduled to check in, we attempted to check in early. My partner attempted to call the front desk for a period of two hours, and no one answered the phone. My partner also left a message that was not returned. Neither of us can stay at a hotel where the desk cannot be contacted via telephone especially because cell service is spotty in Golden. The only way we could talk to a living person was to call the restaurant. A manager was supposed to contact us the next day, but never did.
Great locale, in downtown Golden, walk to restaurants, bakeries, shops and the CSM campus. Their grill and cantina serve excellent fare with much to choose from and the service is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Will be returning for a stay in May.
Good southwestern style food in the restaurant. The service was also good, they served cinnamon rolls for breakfast as a free appetizer. didn't stay in the inn
Good Mexican, one of the best chimichanga's I've eaten.
The whole hotel feels Spanish style. There are many animal specimens in the hall.
The room is clean and spacious.
The location of the hotel is very good. It is surrounded by various restaurants and handicraft shops. Golden parks, museums and other places are all within walking distance.
Happy hour is absolutely fantastic! You better get a Honcho margarita!
Great value, beautiful mountain views, and very comfortable beds! Highly recommended.
One of our favorite restaurants, with comfortable seating, delightful decor, and deliciously exciting food. Table Mountain Inn is the perfect meal break after strolling the Clear Creek trails and downtown shops.
Paid $120 bucks for small room, no microwave, no coffee maker, and no continental breakfast. Front desk never answered the phone. Should have stayed at the Hampton Inn.
The Happy Hour offerings at the bar are more than adequate. The nachos is easily sharable and service was responsive.
Poor service. Gave a used glass for water with lipstick all over it. Appetizers took about an hour to be served. Food was about an hour and a half
Great place, beautiful M. Balcony nice to open but not sure about standing
If you have ever had a margarita before please don't come here thinking that you'll enjoy theirs. Literally all you taste is mix. Also, our burger during their happy hour was burnt after requesting medium well. Lastly, my wife couldn't even finish her 2 tacos because of how bland the flavor was.
I don't know if we came here on a bad day or what but even if the food was free I would absolutely not ever come here again.
Such a great spot! Food is AMAZING and service was on point! Must try!
Good place and in a good spot on the main Street. Room is clean.
Hotel - great. Staff - great. Food at the Cantina - horrific. The poor fish who gave its life for my tacos deserves a seat at the right hand of God. Abysmal.
I've been to TMI 3-4 times. The food here is delicious and the service is very good.
Great rellenos. But there's still something missing. This is our fourth time here and it just feels like there is something missing. The server was friendly. The Corn muffins are really good, and the dinner was very tasty.
Friendly staff good food and decent room, you could hear people talking in the corridor and adjacent rooms though
Food and service was very good. Great location downtown golden
Visited Table Mountain Inn for a 2 day leadership conference. The staff was friendly, the building was well located and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it.
Nice mexican food ,great atmosphere, good service and suitable for late night meal.
Some of the better tex-mex I've had in colorado but doesn't live up to the real thing
Quiet. Spacious, clean rooms, nice view, very convenient.
Not sure how the hotel part is but it looks really nice, but if the hotel is as good as the food and the service was then it will be a great place to stay.
Nice room, restaurant 's food was excellent employees were very helpful as well.
Great burgers, hotel style for a traveler to America
Junior suite. Amazing bed. Great whirlpool bath. Noisy wedding reception in the courtyard below but....not their fault?
Service, food, everything was great and the staff treated us well. We got seats outside pretty fast even on taco Tuesday. Unfortunately, our bill took quite some time to arrive - never had a chance to ask for desert because we were ready to go. Definitely worth visiting though.
Prime Rib night here is always a fun occasion. Has a nice relaxed atmosphere with Southwestern decor. This is a classic Golden landmark and is well worth a visit.
Went there for dinner alone and while going to the restroom the General Manager asked if I was coming back and I still hadn't finished my food or drink. Or of course had the chance to even pay my bill. As this was happening another employee started moving my stuff to allow another couple to sit at the table
I arrived in Golden, Co in late afternoon and was hungry for some local fare. After walking the strip with some project companions, we decided on Table Mountain Inn Grill. It was reminiscent of Santa Fe with its adobe and turquoise coloring and is in fact a New Mexican style restaurant. I love Chili s and spicy stuff so I was excited. PLUS! It was taco Tuesday.
I ordered two Carne Asada Tacos and an Aquacate taco and munched off of my friends giant nachos. It was pretty good and hit the spot. Having recently spent some time in Santa Fe it made me yearn for the homemade green chili there.
Thanks y all!
Extremely nice hotel and staff... Just like Colorado! :)
We got a take taco plate and it is like a taco bar!!! We loved it!!! Also really good margaritas!!!!!!
I live in Golden, and have recommended many people stay here in the past as they are pet friendly and it s a cool hotel.
Mic, the Front Desk Agent, has ruined our experience forever with this place, which is a bummer as it s usually where I have friends and family stay when visiting.
Her demeanor, not wanting to help in any way, she was condescending, and straight mean to my parents that are over 65.
She made our situation worse, not better. Did not try to help fix anything, or offer any kind of solution.
If you book through a third party, and just as it says on Table Mountain Inn s website, it s pet friendly.
My parents book for that reason, with their one 9lbs mini poodle therapy dog.
The night after they checked in she accused them of sneaking the dog in, charged them $75 then $25 per night for the next two nights.
This is after they checked in with the dog, which she said over and over and over, I never saw a dog with a snobbish and cruel tone. She literally gave zero f***s.
I write for Outside Mag and travel Colorado and New Mexico weekly, and I ve never encountered someone as rude as Mic. The worst customer experience ever when she could have resolved the matter in a kind, normal way in minutes.
Will NEVER send anyone here again. Will make sure I send people away.
Table Mountain, please know you had the opportunity to have continued repeat customers, and because of the attitude and customer service Mic decided to provide, you have lost repeat customers forever.
Maybe just try next time. Or show some empathy. Or at the very very least, try to fake it and act like you care.
So disappointed.
Food and drinks are always good. Great happy hours 2x a day. This is one rare place I don't recommend sitting at the bar, you get treated like you're a burden as opposed to a valued customer. Yeah its busy dude - your happy hour is 2-6.
Breakfast burrito was really good, service was pretty absent
Good food, offers brunch on the weekends only, fun environmnt! Little expensive for a college budget but not terrible
