Great experience beginning to end. Delivery guys were prompt and very professional. We bought two organic mattresses (plus some pillows and sheets) and they were delivered today. We live in Worthington and the delivery guys were here right when they said they would be. Top notch place.
These guys make incredible stuff. The quality of the wood is incredible -- they only use natural products to condition/stain and it makes the grain of the wood look so amazing. I want to buy some of the smaller stuff as well (they make gorgeous cutting boards) and will eventually get around to that as well. Great work!
We are so pleased with our new custom bed and organic mattress, as well as our shopping experience at TY. Our initial visit to the Clintonville showroom really impressed us with the care that went into their furniture and the quality they produced. The bed was completed by the date promised and delivered promptly. Most importantly, our bed, with its gorgeous wood grain from wood reclaimed from NE Ohio, is the most comfortable bed we've ever had (we're done with memory foam, toppers, etc.) We're sleeping so much more soundly now and feel good about shopping from a local small business that respects its customers and the environment. While reading the Columbus Dispatch this month (August, 2020), I was happy to notice the advertisement for T.Y. Fine Furniture, which offers "Stressless" reclining chairs. My wife and I stopped by the store to observe and try out the chairs which were amazingly comfortable. Having arthritic issues, I was very pleased to find a chair in which I could sit and every joint felt at ease in. Arletta McDonald, the Sales Manager, was very polite and professional in answering all our questions, and assisting us in choosing a chair of our choice. One of the floor models was able to be delivered to our home within two days, and another model had to be custom made and ordered from Europe within 3 months. John Columbo and his assistant, who delivered the first chair, were very courteous and arrived ahead of the scheduled time, notifying us along the way as to their arrival time. All in all, it was a wonderful experience dealing with the personnel at T. Y. Fine Furniture, and their products are first class.
When I was selecting the mattress the staff was extremely helpful and answered ALL my questions to my satisfaction.
What I like most about the organic, queen-sized mattress I purchased from T.Y. Fine Furniture is it has one 'foundation' and one 'mattress top' for each side of the bed. This means one half of the bed can be more (or less) firm than the other. There is no separation because the four pieces fit nicely into a "cocoon." I was able to use my existing "box-spring" /foundation.
I was called prior to the delivery for a head's-up on arrival time; they were on time. Also, both delivery men were very knowledgeable, kind and courteous.
The bonus? I slept quite well! Another bonus: this mattress has a 20-year warranty...perhaps longer.

We recently purchased a new modern platform bed from T.Y. Fine Furniture. It looks great in our bedroom, and is beautifully designed and crafted. The store was very patient and helpful with us , as we loved so many of their designs, we had a hard time making a decision. Seems like lovely furniture. Unfortunately I was there to purchase an organic mattress. Yet the whole store smell like wood finish from furniture manufacturing. Felt very unhealthy inhaling it. Also made it impossible to assess smells from mattresses. Had I ordered one, I probably wouldn't have appreciated my mattress sitting in their warehouse soaking up fumes prior to delivery. Should they ever get an appropriate ventilation/exhaust system, I'll consider returning.
I am thrilled with my new furniture. From start to finish this has been a great experience. The furniture (dresser, mirror, day bed) were all custom made and it shows. The craftsmanship is beyond compare- it is more like completely functional art work.

One of the nicest surprises in central Ohio is TY Fine Furniture. It offers locally handcrafted beautiful solid wood furniture that is pleasing to look at and wonderful to touch. They use environmentally friendly wood finishes and offer organic mattresses and bedding. We have long been planning to purchase a bed and just received our new custom built frame with adjustable mattress bases. We loved the personal attention that Tarik gave us. We also loved the courteous, smooth delivery and assembly process. An additional nice touch was that one of the delivery guys also worked on making the bed frame.

I purchased a Naturepedic EOS mattress because I wanted an organic mattress. I visited the showroom several times to test each mattress type. I'm 5'6" tall and about 140 lbs. so I chose the medium firm EOS Classic. I've had it almost a year now and I can honestly say it's the smartest purchase I ever made. It's so comfortable! It provides just enough firmness yet with a soft pillow top. The staff at TY are friendly and helpful. The delivery crew was great; friendly and professional and they set up the mattress in no time.
We bought a gorgeous solid walnut live edge table from TY and could not be happier with our purchase. Not only is the walnut beautiful, Tarik was able to customize the legs to have a cantilevered look that add a nice modern touch. I was also impressed that Tarik and his associate personally delivered and installed the table, rather than hiring out movers to do the job.
I purchased a beautiful natural-edge sycamore dining table and a small cantilevered table for my new home. The purchase process with Tarik and Arletta was seamless and entirely customer-oriented. The delivery process was also excellent- they were timely and they were meticulous about making sure that the table and my home were undamaged (no easy feet with a 96 inch table going into a mid-century dining room!). We love TY Fine Furniture. Tarik is a truly skilled artist. Two years ago we bought the Enso bed and were amazed by the craftsmanship and beauty in simplicity. There is a sense of calm and tranquility that radiates from the simple elegance and clean lines, and warmth from the soft curves. He blends the two beautifully. His work is not only beautiful but also durable. Two years later we have no complaints. We followed up by completing the set and buying two dresser tables to match the bed. We just received these and have been equally happy with the workmanship. When we have more space, we hope to purchase the dresser to complete the set. Do keep in mind, that his craftsmanship does come with a slight delay, and give yourself extra time to receive the product. In our experience, it has been well worth the wait.

Great products, wonderful service. I very rarely take the time to write any reviews, but they were exemplary at every step in the process and really deserve your business. They took a lot of time to ensure that we found the right product. Then the delivery and assembly crew were very careful, respectful, and clean.
We decided to go for an organic bedding set, but hadn't done much research outside of mattresses. We had a number of configurations demonstrated for us so that we found exactly the right comfort and support. We were also in need of a bed and were told of the numerous benefits of organic furniture. I think the science is still out on whether conventional furniture does any harm, but it's worth the piece of mind. I confirmed everything I was told while we were there. I didn't feel like we were over-sold (or lied to) about anything.
Even if "organic" is of zero concern to you, the cost of the mattresses and furniture are pretty well in line with conventional counterparts of the same quality. I wish the furniture fit with the motif of our house. It's very high quality and looks excellent.
They handled ordering, delivery and assembly of a bed (to go with the new mattress we purchased) from a company that they never used in the past. It was damaged during shipping to them and I didn't even have to say anything about it. They noticed everything, arranged replacement from the manufacturer, and scheduled a return visit for delivery and installation.
I will definitely be returning when our little ones need new beds as well as for their excellent home theater seating. If you have the means to consider high-end bedding or furniture, it would be a mistake not to visit.

My husband and I had been searching for an organic mattress. While there were several options online. which meant you could not test before buying, the only place in town where we could see and feel the product was TY Fine Furniture. We tested and asked questions, all of which were answered completely and without any sales pressure. We purchased a Naturpedic queen size mattress and pillows. The delivery was as promised, and the delivery men (who are also furniture makers) were very friendly, efficient and they took their shoes off - without asking. We just bought a Stressless couch , 2 American Leather chairs and a lamp here. They spend lots of time with customers and are very knowledgeable. It took a little longer than promised to receive our furniture, but I blame COVID! Their delivery people even removed our old sectional before bringing in the new stuff, which was really helpful (and they were extremely careful during the process). I bought a king size organic mattress; i have been getting more in to updating my whole house to be more holistic and healthy after learning about all the harsh chemicals in most beds. The staff at TY furniture are so sweet and helpful and i definitley plan on continuing to buy my furniture there. The movers were right on time, were very courteous and were in and out within 15 mins. I highly recommend them!! :)
Excellent service, comfortable, attractive stressless chair. We were a little apprehensive about entering a store with the coronavirus spreading, but our fears were unfounded. The store took care to physically distance from us, hand sanitizer was readily available, and our sales person took the time to show us options, discuss the functions of the stressless chair, and treated us respectfully.

We just received our new bed, organic mattress, and organic baby crib mattress and we couldn't be more satisfied! These guys do excellent work and provide wonderful customer service. The craftsmanship is stunning! Our bed is now the most beautiful piece of furniture that we own, without a doubt. It gives us peace of mind to know that we have a non-toxic bed, and it's gorgeous too! We are also excited to sleep on our new Naturepedic mattress! I am pregnant, and I have been needing a more comfortable mattress so that I can rest up before our little one arrives :) These mattresses are unique because there is the option to have multiple layers that you can customize. This is what a shopping experience should be! The store features top-quality locally made furniture for living room to bedroom to boardroom. The owner and sales staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and totally no-pressure. We were specifically shopping for a new mattress, as the store also stocks the latest and best in organic mattresses, also made in Ohio. Delivery was made today, right on time, and set-up was completed by two friendly and skilled employees. Some adjustments were needed on our existing wood bed frame, which was handled easily by the employees, since they are actually the carpenters making the fine furniture most of the time! We highly recommend this company!

We purchased a queen size, organic mattress with multiple layers of firmness. After having slept on it for about a week, we are quite pleased with our decision to purchase from T.Y. Fine Furniture. It is very comfortable. In the store, the sales person was very patient, taking a great deal of time explaining the different layers of natural rubber. The delivery men arrived on schedule and were very courteous and efficient. It was quite expensive, but it should last a couple of decades, or more, so it will be worth it.
We loved the whole experience of shopping at T.Y. Fine Furniture. We could not find the quality or the style at the big box furniture stores. We were looking for a modern style, hand crafted solid wood headboard and frame. We chose the queen size Modern One platform bed, one cherry and one maple. We also ordered side tables for each bed. It took almost 6 weeks from the time we ordered until delivered, which was worth the wait. This company delivers their hand crafted furniture for free. The employees were COVID compliant and offered to remove their shoes. They took the time to teach us what we needed to learn about the care of the furniture, which we appreciated. We visited T.Y. Fine Furniture months ago looking for comfortable seating for our family room. We found them in the Stressless reclining chairs, but needed to shop around before making the investment. My experience with T.Y. began just after moving to Columbus before the Covid-19 outbreak. I had a parent with some health problems needing to stay with us and while we had room we did not have any extra furniture. We called all over for anyone who might sell even a floor sample but the answer was no. I found T.Y and noticed the positive reviews - and let me say we have been incredibly pleased with the experience from first speaking Arletta to final deliveries. I explained our situation and though custom furniture typically takes a while, T.Y. expedited a bedroom suit for us in just over a week (including an amazing organic mattress). The quality is top-notch and will be something we can pass down for generations. The entire team ensured both safety and quality throughout the process. We were contacted with regular updates and received a thoughtful note of appreciation (handwritten not an email) - Good furniture comes with a price but also last lifetime(s) if cared for properly. I would recommend T.Y to anyone and it was also great to support a local business during the pandemic (but certainly at any time). Will likely order something else in the future. We just had a cherry sideboard/dresser delivered and it looks great in our living room. TY customized the size to fit the space and the guys that delivered it were very professional. The finish and details of this piece of furniture are really nice. We really liked the one in the store and this looks just as good.
It is SO nice to find quality furniture within walking distance of our home. Two years ago, we purchased a recliner elsewhere and it is already wearing out so my wife stopped into TY Fine Furniture. She found an IMG recliner that fully reclines and is electric so she doesn't have to struggle to put her feet up. She is happy.
Customer Service - when our chair delivery was delayed for reasons beyond anyone's control, Arletta lent us one of their chairs to use until ours comes in. This is the type of service that will keep us coming back.
Also, the delivery staff were respectful, took their shoes off at the door, and moved the chair until it was placed where my wife wanted it.
