One of the large tandts. Parking is limited and this place is often very crowded.

All my favorite Asian food under one roof. Always crowded though.

The happened last Monday January 20th. I went to there try to order the foods for my company party on Thursday January 23rd. There were one associate help me to called the manager since she couldn t decided to take my order or not. After the whole Chinese conversation with her manager. She said we have a big order on Thursday so we not really sure can take my order or not. She asked me the phone number so next day her manager come to work at 9 can call me to confirm . I was waiting and waiting but too bad no phone call at all. I had go to another T&t in Vancouver kingsway to order. But guess what there were a lady call me to pick up my order on Thursday way to late since I needed it on Thursday. And when I told her she didn t say sorry just hung up the phone on me. You need to train your managers on how to deal with customers. That was extremely rude guess you don t care about good service.

Love this store you can get anything you want from groceries to hot food to rice cookers, anything is possible.

Avoid this place! They frequently cheats with sale price placed on non sale items. Customer service is useless, cashier Stephanie is very rude. Management does nothing to legitimate complaint. 8 out of 10 times we were overcharged for item on sale, most sale items are near EXPIRED. If you still want to shop here, check your receipt carefully Everytime!

Excellent selection of Asian foods in a convenient location with ample parking. Store is rather dirty compared to other (more Western-oriented) supermarkets.

Too much people they don't have social distance. The staff Who don't care about it.

Asian supermarket. Freshly baked goods, good produce, prepared food areas. Lots of different Asian snacks.

Best T and T I've been to. Food is fresh and good selection. Nice layout.

You have to wear mask to shop there right now because of the virus, I believe it's good for the employees and customers.

I go here often for lunch because of the variety in Chinese food and great prices. The other day I had the spicy been curds and seaweed and a iced coffee drink for about 10$ and it was a lot of food for even me, a 180 lb Punjabi man

I'd give five stars for the variety of products you can get. Unfortunately, we've picked up near expired items twice in a row from the store! The smell of the dim sum and baby octopus was just unbearable.

The pork buns are super good and they have a large variety of food here especially fresh fish options! You can shop and get your groceries or just stop in and get a bite to eat. However, the seating area is very small and can fill up quickly so you may have to take your paid meal and eat it elsewhere but it is still really delicious. Also I would recommend stopping at the bakery and picking up some of their fresh baked goods because they are so super delicious!

There are many different T&Ts. The more complete one is the one in Metrotown and Chinatown. Next is the Surrey Central store. The one in Guildford is the mini version of the real T&T

Have a lot of variety. Very well stocked most of the time.

Great place to go for your asian food cravings, and if you need asian ingredients for cooking or snacks. It's clean, super easy to get to (makes carrying your groceries to transit really nice), and good service from what I have experienced. The cooked food is decent too, but not something I get all the time. The freshly baked bread with the many different flavours/variety of choices is AWESOME! That is a must try in my books.

It has lots of stuff... It's more than a little chaotic, but at least it smells better than the downtown location

It's a good store generally. But don't try and get bubble tea or bb cue pork before ten(they open at 9).They will just shoo you away. Very odd.

Thanks for response. I still find it odd that various departments within the store open at multiple different times. Maybe they need to come in a bit earlier.
Also no signs indicating they are not open or when they do open , I just stood there waiting while they ignored me. I felt very foolish.

This place has great hot food selection and great staff. I usually stop by here for lunch and it is always a great experience. There are always some unique item you find if you search. The cake section is fantastic and you can get fresh flowers if you need.

Great selection but the staff lucks English . So you are on your own if you are looking for a specific item.

They have all ingredients which is necessary for Chinese cuisine.

Big store with all kinds of imported goods. The take out food area has a lot of options. This location in particular is usually quite busy.

Large selection of ready to-go food. Ready to-go sushi section, noodle bowls, dim sum, bubble tea, single size baked goods, and many other quick ready made meals.

I totally recommend the Portuguese tarts made daily. Usually always warm out of the oven. If you're lucky they're on special and warm out of the oven. That's the best time to get them. If you buy them individually, or when they're not on sale they're expensive.

The sushi and bubble tea selection is out of this world. I would have to say biggest bubble tea selection I ever saw. Too many choices, what hard decisions to make!

If you are a meat eater, this is the lowest price to buy. Shhh if word gets out they might increase the prices!

Oh and if you like steamed buns there's fresh oven ones, cold ones that you can take home and quickly heat up or frozen ones for when you think you want to eat one it will be there at your leisure.

If you like pho and other Asian dishes, if you look in the frozen section ingredients are frozen ready to make when you feel like making a homemade meal.

Omg... And the cakes are unbelievable! You must go to see for yourself. You can buy a whole cake or by the slice fancy shmancy

Light shopping floor. Shopping space is a bit crowded. Many options to shop compares to other T&T locations. Price is normal. Employees are pretty nice and friendly. Public washrooms available nearby. Located at Metrotown shopping mall. Free mall parking available. Easy access.

If you enjoy Asian food and have an adventurous spirit, you'll love T and T. Such interesting foods from all parts of Asia. We don't have a T and T on the island, but always stop at least once, usually twice, everytime we go to Vancouver. We spend lots of time cruising the numerous aisles filled with unique asian foods and other items. Live fish and crabs. Unusual Baked goods. Hot Food to go. It's like travelling to another country without getting on a long plane ride!

The food there is expired. I tried returning the product but they wouldn't accept the product back the customer service is pretty terrible because when i asked for something they dont understand. Pinehouse bakery is better than T&Ts

It should be one of the earliest T&Cs in Vancouver. There are always a lot of people

I wish I can give zero star if I could but I can't....however, today I went to T&T @ MetroTown approx between 2:00 pm - 2:30pm I purchased a pre-cutted watermelon from their cold-cut sandwich section; when I returned to office to enjoy my watermelon, one of the piece actually have a unknown object stuck within the melon, at first I tasted in my mouth , then I split out only found it it was actually a piece of yellow HUMAN NAIL!!!!!! ><...this is by far the most disgusting experience, I ever had.....later I had to washed my mouth several time and made myself vomiting, I would never buy pre-cut ANYTHING from Metro Town T&T anymore...or any of their cook food...if they have HUMAN NAIL in their pre-cutted watermelon , image what else would be there in their other cooked production.

The one supermarket every Chinese regularly goes to. Decent price and wide selections, there's even a mini food court to feed hungry family when you don't feel like cooking or waiting for tables at nearby restaurants.

Datonghua Supermarket is a favorite of many Asians. Not only because there are many ingredients and snacks that Asians like, but also many Southeast Asian and Chinese seasonings. These seasonings are indispensable for making delicious and authentic dishes. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the supermarket baked its own cakes and many snacks. We have eaten cakes from many different baking shops, but the favorite is Datonghua's cake. The softness of the cake is just right, and the sweetness is just right. I know that there are still many people who have not forgotten about the two egg tarts of Tuanhuahua. I also feel very good. The things I bought the most in Tuanhuahua are cakes and tarts. I hope that they can continue to develop more new products and new flavors for consumers.

Hygiene is too bad ... cut the bean bag and found that a worm is stuck ... The quality control is very much to be improved ... It is terrible! !

Good market for the products that are difficult to get elsewhere.The combination of local and,international products well various.

Went there trying to find gingko nuts have to ask 3 staff member before finding the product need. Prices are steadily getting higher once Loblaws bought the company. Especially in the produce and fruit department. Have been shopping there less and less each year.

I just went there curious to see the much talked about store. Huge. Did not have time to explore all. I did see a variety of Chinese hot and to-go combination platters, and an extensive choice of deserts and breads at the bakery counters. You need at least one hour just to quickly browse and see what this place has to offer. If I am not mistaken, most T&T stores are big ones. Definitely worth dedicating a trip just to explore all the product this store carries. Not to forget the reasonable pricing as I have shopped T&T stores in other cities before.

You can buy a lot of Asian food stores, and the traffic is convenient.

Perfect place for sea food. We are going with kids for fun sometimes, alive crabs, fish, fresh squid, shrimps, so much to see and eat. There are fresh sushi here as well and bbq duck. Cookies and cakes are always good choice.

The price is more expensive than the vegetable market, but the convenience is that you can choose more

Tons of shopping options, but prices a little steep

Like every other t and t in the lower mainland. Busy, and it's an acquired flavor. Can see overseas manners and customs take place so please manage your expectations prior to arrival.

This location is usually busier than other locations. Underground parking is the nearest lot to T&T if you happen to buy a lot from T&T. Plenty of parking except on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day.

The best place to buy sea food fresh and a huge variety Good prices too

I love to search for different food. This is the place to look for.

I really like shopping here, I find foods that aren't usually available in other supermarkets such as specialty meats and seafood.

It's great if you like Parking fights on YouTube and the superstore of Asian Groceries store chains in BC.

My kids like to look at all the live fish and seafood delights, but they will never let Dad take any home to eat. "Eating Fish is gross, Dad."
Kids can be mean sometimes.

And the parking sucks too.

Careless Staff. Food , Grocery, and any product are not as good.
When tell the staff what's happening, staff don't care at all.
its the WORST T&T Supermarket to go to!

Many varieties that other don't have. Can buy complete grocery in one place.

You can find almost any Asian things in this supermarket

If your hungry you just go down there for food samplers. Its a great supermarket with lots of variety
