I've lived in one of their properties(aspen hill) for almost two years now and the staff has been extremely professional and has seriously very quickly dealt with any problems we've had. I highly recommend this company.
I have enjoyed every minute of living at Shadow Creek! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live. From the beginning, I was treated with top notch customer service while emailing with Erin. She answered all the questions I had (it was a lot, sorry) and never made me feel like I was being a bother. Once I stepped foot into the apartment complex, I knew this would be my next home. The buildings are well-kept, quiet, safe, and the apartment layouts are exactly what I was looking for.
Upon move-in I met with Erin in the office and I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is and will make you feel welcome and right at home.
They have been quick to respond to maintenance issues- even minor ones and they have surface parking for no extra charge (I have never had a problem finding a spot). Another quirky plus for me is the garbage room is located in the heated underground garage that can be easily accessed from inside your building, so no need to step outside in the Wisconsin climate to take out your trash. Other bonus features: ice maker in the freezer (I dislike buying bagged ice or having to make my own), garbage disposal, ample closet space in the 2 bedrooms, plenty of windows for natural light, outdoor pool and tanning available, and underground parking for a low monthly cost!
If you are looking for a great company to rent through with great rent prices, the best customer service I've ever had from a rental company and a great place to call home, look no further than Shadow Creek or T.R. Mckenzie Properties!
We live at Oak bridge Court Apartments and we love it! The price is great for the size and the management team is very responsive and kind. Best place I've ever rented!
The property manager at Stone Creek Apartments (heather) is such a wonderful and kind person and was so helpful through the move-in process. I love this location (quiet, residential, nice neighbors, parks nearby) and my apartment is beautiful! Could not be happier living here.
I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your housing, management or employment needs. The good news is that they are training people to a high standard who are looking to get their foot in the door of property management. The bad news--they treat their employees so poorly it is almost unbelievable.
Just moved in to the Lamplighter and loving it so far! Heather was very nice and responded to our emails promptly. Had a broken shade upon move in and the mechanic was quick to replace it. The best part about moving in was finding the awesome goodie bag that was in the kitchen. The pizza in the freezer was exactly what we needed after a long day of moving!
Have lived here for just about a year and I couldn t be happier! Quiet, clean, always updating common areas to give us residents that home(y)feeling!
They PAY their residents in $10.00 Starbucks gift cards to write good reviews about them! Talk about desperate! Don't believe the raving reviews you see, they are all by people who received a incentive to do the review. Judy the "Director," is a complete nut job. She is unprofessional, a liar, and a narcissist. Don't rent from these people.... It's a small company that the kids took over, and they have nooooo idea what they are doing.
The property lost my payment, and made ME to figure out what was happening. They told me that they are not responsible if money orders were lost, that it is resident s responsibility. So now the property manager wants me to make a payment replacement. Plus my storage was robbed. So everything happened at the time and no excuses were given. I won t recommend TrMckenzie properties.
I have been renting with TR Mckenzie for over 3 years. I have been with them so long because they are truly exceptional! The property managers have always been kind, personable, and very helpful. The apartments themselves are beautiful and kept up very well. Anytime I've ever needed maintenance, the response has been almost immediate. I truly feel like a valued resident with TR Mckenzie, and I will continue to rent with them until I am ready to become a homeowner.
They charged us "$105" for "cleaning" after we moved out. We left the apartment spotless after spending several hours cleaning.
I even talked to the leasing office before I moved out and they told me that our apartment was in good condition.
Very underhanded way of doing business.
We lived at Stone Creek for two years and had an exceptional experience. We felt like the property managers truly cared about their residents. Maintenance was always very friendly and prompt if needed and we were not nickel-and-dimed for issues that other places might charge for, like dishwasher or garbage disposal issues. The property is meticulously cared for, including the interiors, landscaping, clubhouse, and pool. We were always treated with respect and Heather the property manager was always so friendly and caring when we communicated with her. We will truly miss living here, and would have stayed for as long as we could've it it hadn't been for work relocation. For the beautiful apartment and amenities we had, the rent price was pretty competitive for the Madison area, and I will recommend them to anybody!
The rent rises every year without benefit. They change property managers every few months. And if you can t reach out to your property manager the main office doesn t care to assist.. I strongly suggest living elsewhere. This place is not it!
