Incredible place for the whole family. Very nice fresh market, good food, live music and several kids activities.

OK, I grew up less than two miles from here - so I remember the old days before this became an attraction...
CORN - First and foremost - the reason you should come here - is always great.
Produce - good quality - but they should really denote what they grew and what they resell. To some of us it makes a difference (in that I want to try their ....).
Carnival like stands... Interesting - fruit, custard, corn... My only complaint is they should be grilling the corn over wood or charcoal - then I could get on board (and likely stay way too long and eat way too much)... Like a farmer I once new said - if you pick the corn and sprint with it to the grill - then its fresh... If you trip - its old corn...
Crowd / Parking / Bathrooms - to me its a shame this has become a park attraction - but that 's just because I was used to the old szalays.
Bathroom - uses the fancy outhouse of the park a little walk away.

I really like the fresh produce and friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

Still the same corn as my childhood. The produce sold in the store is not always from the US, let alone local, but the corn is worth the parking hassle and long line.

Great food market! Family and dog friendly. Live music on the weekends. Food stands with delicious menu, including their famous roasted corn, yummy. Set in the Cuyahoga Valley National park. A must do!

Sooooo expensive. But my nephew loved the corn maze and we got him a pumpkin that was bigger than he is. I'll probably be back again.

Really nice outdoor space for enjoying lunch or snacks. The food here is delicious and the items in the market are really good quality.

We really enjoyed our first experience here today! They have a HUGE pumpkin selection and the corn maze was a huge hit with our family! We will be back!

Nice selection of produce, goods & pumpkins, however it's overpriced. Came for pumpkins, left with cider.

Ride you bike here from Cleveland or Akron or further by way of the scenic Towpath trail!

Make sure to bring cash or check! They have an ATM as well. Produce and baked goods are fantastic but the workers are sometimes a little rude.

What a family treat! We thoroughly loved it! The corn was good and the tea was sweet!

Szalay's has the best corn in Ohio!! We love weekend trips to hike around the farm and get fresh produce and sit in one of the swinging tables.

Wonderful market with delicious food stands. Definitely need to build their own restrooms with the amount of people visiting.

Overly crowded.. no social distancing... few masks....left without shopping..

Lots of very fresh and tatsy fruits and veggies, with a place for a simple meal and a ice cream cone too.

It's a nice little market! Fresh food and some good cooked corn! Cute little bench and tables to eat at. Nice flowers/plants. I would like to come back later one afternoon when the band is playing.

Great produces and atmosphere! We visit a few times each summer. Grab some corn on the cob or ice cream while you're there!

Country store with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy some snacks. They have fresh and clean products and very friendly staff

This is a mandatory destination for anyone making their way down the tow path in the CVNP. The produce selection at the farmers market is amazing, we do most of our weekly grocery shopping here in the summer. In the fall the atmosphere makes it a great place to pick pumpkins, walk the corn maze, and listen to live music while enjoying hot cider!

Beautiful farm, amazing produce and very inexpensive.

One of our FAVORITE places to visit. Exceptional produce, breads, novelties etc! We try and get there as often as posible. Worth the trip. Staff is extremely friendly.

Great place to visit in the summer and fall. On a number of occasions you will find live music on the weekends. They grow their own corn and acquire fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, cheeses among a lot of others from local farmers. This place is fun for the whole family! The sweet corn that the roast is the best I have ever tasted! In the fall the have s huge collection of pumpkins, and even a real corn maze!

Looks like a great place! Just stopped by to check it out, but as far as farm market/stands go, this one has a wide selection and a very clean look. Naturally pricier than an average grocery store for the same quantity, but with most everything sourced locally, you're arguably paying for the freshness and quality and experience. Seems like they have a lot of events and things to do throughout the season too! Fun fall activities, and food truck style eating on weekends.

Great corn, well worth the 25 minutes trip. Also bought many other fresh fruits and veggies, prices were a good value. Since some items weren't local when I thought option were available I went with four stars.

Prices have really gone up here over the years as it's become somewhat "touristy". You get what you pay for though and everything is very high quality..... Best corn around.

A fun place to buy local produce and spend some time relaxing in one of their wooden gliders or rocking chairs. We listened to local musicians while enjoying ice cream. Where else can you do that after shopping for a few groceries?

Always nice and well cared for farm. Love going in the fall but its usually crazy busy. Make sure you have cash or check. They do not accept credit or debit cards. There is an atm on site if needed which is nice.

Great fruit and vegetables

After riding on the Towpath it was a real treat . We always look forward to the ice cream and fresh fruit sunday! This time we had lunch there as well AFTER the ice cream. The atmosphere is laid-back and wonderful with the cornfields all around you. Music was playing and was a really nice touch. This is one of my many favorite things to do!

Still have fond memories of summer fun! The goods and produce is a westerners fantasy!plenty of spots to rest so you can see everything in 1 trip!!

Love this place! The turkey burgers are really good. I give it a 4 only because I wish there was more seating when it's really crowded.

Szalay's has always been a great farmer's market even when I was growing up. Been there many times and it's nice it is within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Close to the bike path as well. Couldn't find a better place for locally grown foods.

Love Szlays. Sit in gliding picnic tables. Eat big hot dogs with lemonase have ice cream and Sundays and watch the trains go by and listen to the sav man play.

This is the best place for fresh produce. Some of the food is grown on the farm. The corn here is the best. They sell food to eat on Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10:30am. Get an ear of corn and a hot dog. Lemonade is excellent

Great farm market in the middle of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on River View Rd. Great place especially during the Fall Season. If you have children, go here. They have a Corn Maze Etc... Closes 1st of November and never go on a weekend, it's packed !

Grilled , hotdogs and burgers on weekends. Great outdoor area to sit and eat. Fresh groceries.

Always a good place to go on weekends for fresh roasted corn, lemonade, and a turkey burger. This kid is enjoying a fresh strawberry sundae. Yum! Also you are welcome to bring your pooch.
