Syracuse Gastroenterology Associates Review

Ridiculous. Please don t trust your health to these thoughtless vermin. They treat patients so bad. like a cow in a field of 2000. You don t matter. I would give it zero stars if I could. If you miss one appointment, The office manager sends a certified letter kicking you out of the practice. No understanding. No regard for a person with stomach cancer! They just don t care. The nurse that tried wheeling me out to the car after my endoscopy, she was about 20, I asked a question and caught her rolling her eyes at me to another nurse. Long, Brown hair. The anesthesiologists are the only thing good. The dr was too good to be working for that funny farm that has no respect for patients.

I saw dr.raulins today for gastro issues I've been experiencing and trying to explain to several different doctors the past 6years and for the first time I felt heard and understood.he was very compassionate and truly listened to what I had to say.quite a emotional visit but really feel like his first step in getting me healthy will hopefully work.A great doctor!

Terrible, been calling them for over a week and haven't gotten an appointment.

They did a great job and the place runs like clockwork. I couldn't ask for anything more.

From the minute I walked in the door, until I walked out, everybody knew exactly what to do and did a great job and they were happy to answer the few questions I had.

While getting a colonoscopy and endoscopy isn't really high on my "fun things to do" list, it was completely non-stressful, and I was out for the whole thing.

It wasn't any more exciting than taking a nap, followed by waking up and being offered a cup of juice, handed pictures of my insides, and walked out to my waiting ride.

I just wanted to mention that I had put this off for years because I thought it would hurt or be weird somehow. That was completely wrong. This was such a non-event that it was less stressful than getting my car fixed.

If youv'e been putting it off, don't.

I have been calling for three days now. I hang on forever with no one picking up the call. I left three messages and have received no call back.

I've have been a patient there for too many years..Everything starts out good..You know,tests ,medication etc.
But when things go bad,you do not receive any calls or inquiry as to whether you are dead or alive..You can never get ahold of your Dr or even get through on the phone,half the time..You spend more time on hold then anything.Then when you complain,you are now a hostile patient..So fed up!!!

From what I have seen most of the low reviews are based on the wait time which you should expect at any doctors offices during high call volume times, I have never had an issue getting ahold of the office. Dr. Berg is awesome! The staff and nurses and anesthesiologists are great! I've had a couple procedures here and I love that they address plans for the short term and long term!

I have been a pt here for over 15years and I would trust no one else. They are compassionate and respond quickly to my calls and concerns. Their patient portal is a great tool to communicate with the office staff for apts or clinical questions. Their Endoscopy suite is clean and runs like clockwork. Like I said, I've been here for a long time and I recommend them to anyone!

Receptionists are courteous and helpful. Doctor and nurses not so much. Two thumbs down.
